We'll also have to have some powerful backers. In that regard, Blue Point has
the distinguished ex-future President Jovito Salonga on the board -- heck, his
son Eddie was, if I recall rightly, one of the incorporators. Hi ex-future VP
Aquilino Pimentel Jr seems to be interested in advocating Linux -- STAR
columnist Federico Pascual mentioned a Pimentel speech. Sen. Pimentel did say
that Linux wasn't easy to install or to learn, and I emailed him to disagree,
pointing to Mandrake. Still, I think he needs a little push. Might also involve
Sen. Ramon Magsaysay Jr. and Catanduanes Gov. Leandro Verceles Jr, both of whom
are reasonably IT-literate, and influential enough to boot.

Mabuhay.
