I'm pretty sure upgrading the server will help. Squeeze Control loads up
to 5 images simultaneously, but I have never experienced a similar
problem on my own server and I've only ever heard of similar problems on
slower servers.

Even after the images are cached, the server still has to be able to
handle the network requests in a timely manner. Increasing the speed of
the hardware will help with this. Ultimately LMS is a web server and not
being able handle 5 simultaneous image requests from a single client is
pretty poor performance for any web server. There is limit at which
point increasing hardware performance wouldn't increase LMS performance,
but I think a single core first generation Atom running Windows 7 is
well below that limit.
