Well looking at a cpu comparison site, those 1st gen Atoms were basically at the bottom of the barrel when it came to single threaded x86 performance. I think the only thing slower was a Via C7. According to the same site, even a Intel Core Solo T1400 @ 1.83GHz would double the single threaded performance. And while LMS maybe single threaded, Windows is multithreaded and having even one extra core would give LMS quite a bit of breathing room. -------------- Squeezebox apps for webOS and Android, http://www.angrygoatapps.com ------------------------------------------------------------------------ wt0's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=18760 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=96757 _______________________________________________ plugins mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins
