OK, fair point, it's been a long time since I ran LMS under Windows and

Browsers... Servers don't really have to conform or not conform.
I'm pretty sure the web interface DOES conform to it and where it
doesn't (e.g. when running in different tabs) people DO experience
issues.

Of course it will.
The question is: how many users do you want to leave behind and tell
them: "buy a new server or my App won't run correctly". I feel I do
already have enough trouble with users not understanding this or that
aspect of the SB, how LMS and MySB relate, that they accidentally
switched some setting so the behavior changes and so on, I wouldn't want
to bother about this.

Also: LMS being single threaded you'd have to have a pretty powerful
machine to see some actual performance increase from loading 5 images
simultaneously vs. 3.
