confirm whether the lines are normal.

One would obviously send more than one
print, so that it could not be blamed on a file problem. Then if the lines
are confirmed as being abnormal, Cancom or Canon can replace your printer.
I don't want to regurgitate the whole story but I can easily have the printer replaced. The point is that that has already been done and the problem persists.
I'd love the address of the place in Elstree if you have it, along with a phone number?
