We were appalled by the time it took and the relatively unhelpful attitude of Apple and their agents.
The following came from the Apple Support discussion board:
I just spoke to apple support. THey said, the fax function is meant to be "Very Basic" - all it does is dial, send, hangup. No other features.
He said it's the first release - give 'em time.
I explained that my money was not first release, it actually worked when I gave it to them.
He didn't seem to much care.
