In January 2004 we bought a G5 1.8 dual processor. In March, after two months of moderate use, it comprehensively crashed.
For the UK, the consumers association "which" are very clear as to your rights. G5 or washing machine, there is no difference.
(13 is the one you want but if you spend too long on this list, number 3 might be handy too).
