I posted a query on this list back in March asking for info on Ram testers. The background to this was that my G4 running 10.3.3 and 2 Apple 17"cinema
displays had started to shut down on its accord after an hour at the beginning of each day and I was advised that faulty ram could cause it. As it turned out Tech tool pro discovered a faulty ram stick but replacing it did not solve the problem. Neither did a week with the G4 on test at the apple authorised repair centre who decided it was probably a faulty power supply and put in a new one. The fault persisted until I accidentally found that one of the monitors was the culprit. The monitor had been faulty from new. It has been repaired by apple and touch wood everything is now OK. I am posting this for any poor soul who might come across this problem as it has taken me nearly 3 months to diagnose.
