I just played with the cam manager testpoint generator with 356 assigned and
also am not sure if the data is correct or can be used by
a board house. It appears that no matter how I generate the netlist, the
output will reference the absolute origin. I have been generating my
gerbers with a left corner of the board outline as the relative origin, so
that our pick and place would not be offset off of the board. If I
generate gerbers at absolute origin and generate my IPC-356 testpoint ouput
the output data for gerbers and IPC356 will line up correctly. It will
just be one more step to reposition the origin for pick and place, but I can
live with that. I will also send the data to board house and see if they
are able to work with it.
