Hi Mike,
yes it is possible using your methodology and I have no problem with
it. However, trying to get others to be so discisplined is the difficult
portion of the task. Thus I was/am looking for a single step, doesn't take
any extra effort, should find all occurances of "drills" that are too
closely spaced.
If it was just myself, I typically have no problems anyways because
I just know better then to stack holes too close or right on top of each
other. Thanks for the suggestion.

Suggestion for Protel: add a minimum drill space rule which will check for a
minimum width of laminate between any two drill edges. This is what several
other packages already have, it is a no-brainerjust ask a fab shop.

Sincerely,
Brad Velander.

drills?

Brad,
So use a work around: gloabally decrease the size of your vias so they dont
touch, find the double hits using the drc method then globally change them
back. No one said it was easy.

Mike
