Hmm, I think I found the problem near the bottom of _update_position(), it 
seems to have to use int's because the vertexes are stored in a ctypes 
array instead of floats, so it has to round the depth value. Guess thats w 
hy when setting it to 1.0 and 05 still gave some results. :/

It might be easier to just write a new sprite class than messing with it 
more, heh.
