Bleh, I'm so derped right now. I fixed the issue by enabling subpixels 
which uses float vertex data instead of int, so:

self.sprite1 = pyglet.sprite.Sprite(self.texture1,batch=self.batch,group=
group(1),subpixel=True)

That should clear up the issue with the z coord.
