Someone should compile a book of handy tips and BS tricks for the new people
that join the list. I guess it belongs to Jim and rightly so.
W is almost, if not, a dictionary of "What to do if ...". I love the vanilla
but I added a couple tablespoons of 21 year old scotch and it explodes with
flavor. (I need to mention that I almost took vinegar and baking soda which,
while making an attractive volcano flow in science class, probably wouldn't
help me with my gas.) Now, if I could find the right wine to go with oatmeal
I'd be set.
My doctor went on one of those, OMG your addicted kicks, so now I'm doing
Vicodin withdrawal. So what if it is slowing my heart rate. It worked on the
pain from the calcified joints. Now I get to try to find another way to stop
the AD from the pain killing me. If I seem like I'm not myself, it's because
I'm someone else at the same time.

peace,
john

I never considered oatmeal that expensive compared to other cereals.
I use whole milk or 2 % and nuke the mix until the milk is almost
absorbed. Then I add Watkins Natural Vanilla and sprinkle brown
sugar. Taste is great and its good for you.

Best Wishes

I've noticed that oatmeal is great for bowel issues. Too bad the stuff
tolerable to eat is so expensive.

Thanks Tim. I've been an advocate for Apple Cider Vinegar and Honey for
years. I acquired this information from Vermont Folk Medicine or New England
Folk Medicine written by a MD who, at that time, still practiced, home visits.
Its never left me down either.

Oh, BTW, wait until you have tried some oatmeal in your diet too.
Best Wishes

All summer I was having a terrible time developing gas that would stay trapped
in me until I got in bed at night then it would start coming out. It was
causing me chills and sweats all day and I tried all kinds of things like
bean-o, gas-x, digestive enzyme tablets, etc., but nothing helped. Then I
came across some info on-line about vinegar possibly being of help. It worked!
No more gas trouble. I put a teaspoon of apple cider vinegar in about 3-4oz.
of fruit juice and down it at breakfast.

Just wanted to pass this on in case anyone else was going through this
uncomfortable problem.
