I myself am in somewhat the same boat. About the first of December my family left a church that we had been involved with for a least 16 years.
That alone is a long story which I will not get involved into right now , but I will tell that it was under the guidance of the holy spirit. The church we where lead to is very small with a inactive outpost ( chartered ) , and under the reference of the sectional commander I was giving the job of senior commander. I have no budget the church has very little left. They do support many missions which lead me to them. A vision of outreach. I scraped and scrounged and was able to take five to a winter camp two weeks ago. Lucky I have been in FCF for a while and had some items of my own to use. The one thing that really came to mind was that at the old outpost we gave a new small intercity outpost several items to get them going several years ago. The items that I was giving to help out shows that the Lord does honor our giving. I was giving a water cooler by one outpost that had extras, a entire pickup truck load of firewood , and was told to come back and cut as much as I want. A second Baker canvas tent was giving to the outpost. The real kicker was when I was getting ready to leave I pulled out a trailer that I had not used in a few years that was sitting behind my barn. Not to happy with the spare tire that was with the trailer and needing to go about two hours by interstate to get there I decided to get a new tire. I took the rim to a local tire shop ,talked to the manger told him what I was needing, and left the wheel there to go back to work for a couple of hours. When I returned about 4 hours later the district manger was in store at the time and told me being what I was needing the tire for that he would give it to me for no- charge. Praise the Lord that I didn't need the spare but that was less money that I was taking out of my pocket to take these boys. It was the first trip for them as a outpost. I am not going to say that everything was perfect, but the boys came back well and excited. Pray that I can get some more commanders and boys and build this into the outpost that the Lord has told me that is being planted.
