I was "promoted" to Senior Commander last April when the previous
one stepped out of the picture. The promotion was in the standard
format: here's the bars. Only a few leaders wore their uniforms.
Most of the boys did not. I have always worn mine correctly, and
I simply informed everyone that Class B was it. This is not a club,
it was a ministry. I also let them know that any leader who did
not think God had called him or her to Rangers should find wherever
it was they were called. By setting the example and standard, all
the leaders are now in uniform, and many more boys are doing the same.
It isn't all done yet, but its on the way. I have ~70 boys and 20
leaders, so its a big job!

Speaking of Uniforms, does anyone know of any documentation that
specifiesif the "New Testament 2000" pin can be worn on a uniform?
It is GPH # 15-0759, page 278 in the 1999 GPH catalog. I have
contacted the National Office several times, but have yet to
receive an answer either way.

Also, I was informed that at the last National Council it was
announced that the Class B ribbons were now acceptable in the
Class A uniforms, in a move to allow those with more than 3
awards to display them. Some awards have no Class B ribbon:
The Senior Commander Award, District Chaplain's Award (whatever
that is). Does anyone know if they intend to create Class B
awards for them?
