One other thing that helps is for the leaders to get additional training.  
Complete the LTC and get those bars.  Attend NTC and wear the teepee and the 
blue beret.  Tell the boys what you did at NTC.  Attend ANTC and regal them 
with tales of constructing a 20 foot tower and a 50' monkey bridge.  Tell 
them how you cook spaghetti in a paper cup over hot coals.  Tell them how you 
ate a turkey cooked in a garbage can.  I did when I came back from ANTC.  I 
showed them the pictures and replicated the spaghetti in the cup.  It really 
works.

They see the ANTC patch and the class a drape medals and want to know how I 
got them.  We need to do our part to inspire the boys.
