God Bless,
I agreed I have a very strong militry background and the uniform the way it
is worn and displayed by those in authority can make a impact as well. If the
commander does not were his uniform with pride and if the uniform does not
look SHARP then the boys will get this message. Have that uniform tailored to
fit you as it should, I have seen commanders with unhemed pants, patches that
were faded or loose, the shirt was ironed but it could have had a crease, I
even have the padded leather permanete shine shoes. What I am saying you can
transmit your image to the boys work with those that have the uniform and
then with those that don't. Get The Pastor A Uniform and present it to him
infront of the congragation. Ask for sponsers to assist with the boys who are
in need of uniforms ( very inportant to aviod any issues don't let the
sponser know who the boy is, and don't let the boy and his family who the
sponser was.) On a award ceremony honor this sponser with a RR certificate
for thier action. Over all the uniform is very important, another quick note
were we are all there are many gangs that identify themselves with colors and
emblems and this uniform makes these boys understand they are a member of
something big really big.
God Bless
Mike
