Yes it is and that has nothing to do with my job so don't even bring that
into it. You all seem to think he is so innocent - well I'm more inclined to
DOUBT with obvious suspicion until proven otherwise.
My conversation was trying to say that people should be very open minded and
not just think that because they think he is a nice guy he didn't do it or
because he's on an Aboriginal committee that it's a political witchhunt.
It would be nice to be able to sit back and believe everything everyone says
is the truth but you know better than I do that it is not always the case.
Judgement day can be cruel!!

Is that what you think? I know that there are a lot of people in your
job who think like this but just because he says he didn't do it he
could also mean he's telling the truth. Or is denial of guilt an
admission of guilt to the police?

I think you misunderstood the comparison. We were talking about standing
down, not the accusation or who made it. The decent behaviour being
referred to was the standing down - not rape.
