Or is it just perhaps the 'alleged victim' finally plucked up the courage
after all these years to come forward and see that the man who 'allegedly'
raped her be brought to justice??? Or is that too obvious?

I could only imagine the e-mails if Clarke was a police officer or another
outstanding member of the community.

Not everything revolves around political motivation Laurie, not even rape
investigations!

 The  timing of the charges against Clark was obviously  political .

Considering this circumstance, in my opinion, Clark should not step down
unless he is found guilty of the charges, and is required to do so by his
fellow commissioners ---otherwise the bad guys win again----and that's not
good, is it?
