As someone posted earlier, in the absence of a Citizens Register or a system of National ID cards, there is no way one can conclusively prove that he/she is a Citizen of India. Probably, that is why, even after 3 days, no one has answered my fundamental question: How does one conclusively prove that he /she is a citizen of India ?
