Sorry to revive this issue. Today I come across the Indian ARMY's webpage on RTI Where it is specifically mentioned that "You are also requested to attach your proof for being a citizen of India."
Since there is some confusion regarding what constitute a Proof of Citizenship, what kind of documents shall I attach? This is also contrary to sarbajit's post(to which I also agree) regarding requirement of Citizenship proof at the time of applying for information. Friends plz. advise?
