RE : Yeah, I know... but my only point was that the SMMW models were not
designed with AF compatability in mind. And I'm just glad that there is
finally a model available that doesn't require modification to meet scale
standards, but instead requires work to meet archaic standards... a
politically incorrect flip-flop in the S community if you will... but
definitely one for the better.

RE : I gotta admit, I'm not crazy about the look of trip pins on any
coupler, but I have enjoyed the functionality it provides. Yet with that
said, I still prefer the pristine look over the functional look, so I still
prefer a coupler without the pins. And as much as I have enjoyed the easy,
hands-free workings of Kadee-type couplers, the older I get the more I find
myself WANTING to "get into the scene" and "the action" by having some small
form of a hands-on interaction with the models. I get the feeling of being
a real breakman by this, whether using a pic (ion Kadee stype couplers) or a
magnet (on Sergent couplers). To me, its more fun to interact with the
models instead of just sitting back and watching them move around the
layout.
