Hi all --
I have been gone for the last 3 - 1/2 weeks and I came back to 1400 emails,
of which at least 25% are about scale S couplers.
Here is my 2 cents -- Kadee made new HO couplers that were closer to
correct scale because of competition from other manufacturers. If
anything, I would lean on Don T. at SHS or some other S manufacturer to make
the "truly scale" coupler, at which point Kadee will jump in with theirs and
spoil the fun.
Also, I don't think the problem is so much with the size of the Kadee
802/808 as it is with their shape and detail. FWIW, I have had no trouble
adapting the 802/808 to the front pockets of my steamers...

obvious that Kadee feels that they already have one and why compete
with themselves for a product that has already been tooled,
manufactured and sold well enough for them to continue production.
