Brail reading issue

Brail reading issue

Hi Guys!Hope you all are well!Brail reading issue! The issue for me is that my Brail reading speed isn't that great.  I did two tests with a timer since that's how I focus best and got the following results. When I read out loud, I read 9-10 pages in half an hour. When I read silently, it got down to 7 or 8 pages something along those lines. Though I do use both hands, my reading speed is knowhere near it should be. What I do is I use the second finger of my right hand to read and the second finger ofthe left hand pushes my right hand along and helps me to be on the line. I'm talking about paper books here. However, I have heard of a different way taht can really increase your speed, to the extent that some blind people could read up to 300-400 words per minute. That is they use the left hand to read the beginning of the line then when they get to a specific point they their right hand continues the reading. My issue is this. I can recognise what the dots mean with my right hand e.g. a, b, c, d, f, g, wh, in, en, etc, however they feel so different in my left hand. Like a d does not feel like a d and a f does not feel like a f. How do I work around this issue so I can have the same recognition in both hands? My domanent hand is my right hand.

Re: Need help about texting on iphone

Fare enough. Also the other thing about the screen being extremely sensitive.  Sometimes my hand inadvertently moves slightly up because it's very difficult to hold your hand in one position for far far too long. For example if I go to the bottom my hand accedentily moves up and then I might lose the character field e.g. it might to compose to or some other field. Any suggestions?

This is hard! Now I'm facing a problem. When I swipe from side to side on the phone it doesn't always go where I want it to go because my hand inadvertently goes up and down because it's very difficult for me to keep my hand in one position. So say I intend to be at the bottom my hand might slightly move up.Any advice?

JJ, I get what you're saying. In actual fact I wasn't expecting dots to appear on the screen but I understand it now.Regarding dictation, my problem was not dictating something per see, but more to do with non English words. For example, if I say "Hey Umar, what are you doing?" Now we have a problem because Umar is an arabic name, not an english name. If I say hey U M A R, it will just say it as you see. Also with dictation if you want to make a foolstop what do you do? Do you say period?

Re: Need help about texting on iphone

Okay, so let's go through option 1 and 2.1. Touch typing. Yes, I know the Qwerty keyboard ona computer or similar device, but how would I know that on a phone since there are no buttons?Option 2. The brail option. How does that work? So I enable brail.Let's say I go to text say, John with the following messege: "Hey John, how are you doing? Remember those important documents?" I know how to write in brail, that's not the problem. But how do you do it on a phone? Will I automaticly feel the dots on the screen like feeling it on paper? So say I wanted to write the letter r, which are dots 1, 2, 3, 5 do I have to press them all at once like on a Brailnote or a Perkins or all separately?

Need help about texting on iphone

Hi everyone,Hope you are doing well!I'm running into a major issue on my iphone. Basically I haen't really used a touch screen phone that much - I used to huse a nokia n73 but talks is now gone, and the other version I have, wel suffice it to say it is broken. So I decided to switch to an iphone because it's apparently very good. So several questions.1. How good is Siri on the iphone? I heard it has some problems? Does a blind person have to use it?2. I know the Iphone has voice over, however the issue is I don't know how to text on it properly. For example I was doing a practice messege. I rote "Hello" by cycling through each letter by letter such as a, b, c, d, h and then double tapping, until I got the word "Hello." As it stands it took me 15 minutes just to write that word. Now this is a problem because you can't always use seary or a wireless keyboard to text.Say for example I'm going to work and I need to write a texgt messege to my work partner John as follows: "Hey John, hope you are doing well. Remember today we've got that meeting with Mr. Bartleby? Make sure you bring those documents that the Boss told us to bring. Cheers!" How would I do that in just a few seconds on the iphone? How would I do that with Siri with all the punctuation marks like the comma included? Also say I'm texting someone with a non English name such ttext "Mahmut, ahmad, Umar," how would I do that? How would I add the contact?Kind regards,Thunderfist

Re: Do You Have Any Tips on Getting Started With Sewing

Please check this linkhttps://www.nfb.org/images/nfb/publicat … rn1406.htmThis should give you an idea of what to do. However, I would like to suggest a few things.1. A handbag out of a towel isn't really a good idea because towels are highly absorbant of water and therefore become wet extremely easily. When you see a real bag you find that the material is not absorbant of water. With a towel, the inside of it can become wet very easily. Now imagine this thing is a bag. Water will seep in because of the material and wet everything inside. So say on a normal day a family member has to take some important papers to work. In a normal bag nothing would happen. However as this family member is walking to work, there is a huge downpour of rain from the sky. Now the problem here would here be that the towel absorbs the water, because remember, a towel needs to absorb water to dry your body and thus takes needs to take all the moisture away. This could mean that important work documents are destroyed. Also, people might not be willing to buy these bags because they might not see value in them. One of the important things in business is that if you don't know how to advertise the quality of something, people are not going to buy it even if it is something good. A towel isn't really that attractive. The reason why it's done in some parts of the world is because people are too poor sometimes to afford anything else. There is also the fact that you plan to sell these things whereas you don't have firm experience in sewing. So try to start small, maybe involve some family members, and then work gradually up until you get to the point where you can begin selling things. To conclude, try to find some other fabric. Also, you'll need a sited instructor as evidenced by the link I posted above.

Hurridly, with no time to lose, this family member or friend heads to work, knowing they have no time to spare. When they arrive with the towel handbag, they realize the water has seeped through. Astonished, they look at the bag. As moment after moment passes, their face turns to utter shock. Then to utter horror. They have another look again - it could not be, but it was. "The papers! The papers!" There was some important information. As the handbag is opened, water spills out onto the floor. aghast, the family member or friend looks at the paper - where was the writing gone? The water had completely destroyed the ink.So try to find some other fabric. Also, you'll need a sited instructor as evidenced by the link I posted above.

The problem is not the fact you disagreed me, the problem was the language was far too strong. It's not about me hardening my sensibilities or not, it's the fact you can't just assume everyone will take that how you want. For example, sometimes I may have a strong statement that I believe in becaues of my cultural background but may not be abel to voice it out loud due to context. That's all I'm saying. Re: thinking of starting boxing

Personally I wouldn't recommend boxing. Yes, I've done it, but if you're looking for something very good, boxing is not really an alternative you should go for. This is for the following reasons.1. Boxing is highly rigid. You have to have a certain system that you have to follow. I have personally done a bit of boxing myself.2. All boxing is is broot force. You can get serious brain damage from boxing. In one case, don't remember the boxer, but one punched another boxer right on his head and he died as a result of brain injury. Also remember that a blind person facing a sited opponent is more a risk because he can't see, whereas a blind person against a blind person is more predictable.3. Boxing doesn't really teach you anything.  For example, you have certain martial arts that teach you how to prevent a potential vollital situation from becoming a fight.4. Boxing has a lot of weaknesses, for example it doesn't cover ground to ground fighting. You train in a rigid system, then you suddenly find you have to defend yourself. Your opponent tries to grapple you, grab your legs, ressel you, you are going to be caught off guard because your brain has become too rigidised. You could do something like karate, kung fu, or you can even do something like sistima which is actually used by the Russian spetznas. I know Vasaleev has a school in the U.S, but there are many different kinds. Make sure to get a good instructre though. You could also do something like archery, swimming, horse riding, football, which are also enjoyable and fun.

Of course you know your family better than I.  But people can get offended if you insult their family. The issue was not whether you believe whether God exists or not, it was the comment about him being "ignorant." Look, let's just resolve this amicably because there's no point in fighting. Innovation is innovation, true. The point is I really shouldn't be called a fanatic for simply expressing my views. I said I would withdraw because I don't want this to develop into a big fight or a flame war. Also to Answer GCW's question about why do we have to feel pain to go to heaven, it's more about the fact you have to earn it. Tribulations teach a person, strengthen them and draw sincere believing souls closer to Allah and remove their sins. We have to realize that Allah has a wisdom we don't know of. Now GCW has the choice to disagree or agree with that. Anyway let's not fight over this because it's really not worth it to do so.

Re: I am affronted by the presence of god

1. I don't have a problem with you debating me. Your statement that there isn't impirical evidence, I have no issue with that. I have debated with people who don't believe in a God and even with Christians! I have even debated with an agnostic as well without any problem. The problem arises when you say my religion encourages violence and that my God is ignorant etc. You don't just throw out stuff like that. So by all means, you are welcome to debate with me as much as you wish, please do feel free to do so. But all of us in this thread have to be careful of what we say  in order to hurt each others feelings. My intention was not to offend GCW, her Grandmother or anyone else. As one of the posters said on this topic we need to be understanding of each others views. Your saying "Your all knowing God has to be quite ignorant right?"  How about I flipped it round and I said "Oh maybe your family must be ignorant right? Or maybe they thought well of you but they were wrong," you would be extremely offended, and rightfully so. We need a mediator to resolve this topic. Again I am not a fanatic. Read history, many of the inventions we have today is because of the islamic civilization. For example, heavy artillery was invented by the Ottoman empire to try and capture the city we now know as Istanbul from the Bizantine empire. Also, the Sultan who did this, Muhammad Al-Faatih may Allah have mercy on him, was the first one to transition to firearms - other armies mainly relied on bows and arrows at that time. The neeling position used in modern battles was also invented by the Ottoman empire. And there are many inventions we had, if you only do some research, and this in no way undermines the contribution of other civilizations such as the Greeks. Also, I do feel for GCW and hope and prey his/her Grandmother will recover.

Re: I am affronted by the presence of god

Several points1. The qur'an was not written by Allah, it was sent down by Allah. Just as he takes care of the original form in the chests of men and women, so does he take care of the written coppies. "And it is we who have sent down the qur'an, and it is we who will be its gardions."2. I believe you need to understand something about the arabic language, because that is what Allah chose to reveal the qur'an in. In the arabic language, there are no neutral pronouns unlike in English. For example in English, we have he, she and it. He is masculine, she is feminine, and it is neutral. For example: He is Andrew, she is Maria, it's a table. In arabic this does not apply. In arabic, you only have two kinds, masculine and feminine. This is not only unique to arabic but is also found in simitic languages as well. French also has the same commonality with arabic in this regard. Now the word Allah is masculine, not Allah himself, so this is why Allah uses huwa. There is also the fact she connotes gentleness, whereas he linguisticly connotes magisty so it is befitting of Allah to use the more loftier  word.Third, the qur'an isnot man made. Can you bring your proof? If so, produce something like it if you are truthful.

Re: I am affronted by the presence of god

Firstly, the Qur'an is not imperfect as it is the revilation of Allah himself. As I've said, if you read the qur'an with an open heart then you will realize this.Second, the qur'an does not teach Muslims to behead non Muslims. These groups llike Isis who act in this kind of manner choose to ignore qur'anic injunctions about peace. In fact, they are so out of touch so much that Muslims who even disagree with their ideas politely will be killed. They have nothing to do with Islam. So many many innocent Syrian rebels who were ro fight Assad's forces were even killed by these cowards. Consider these verses."And if they incline towards peace, you also incline to it.""Allah does not forbid you from those who do not fight you because of religion and do not expel you from your homes - from being righteoustoward them and acting justly toward them. Indeed, Allah loves those who act justly."So I think it is clear now.

Re: I am affronted by the presence of god

Firstly, God is not a fat man in the sky. He is above his creation in a way that sutes him. Nothing of his creation can compare to him. The islamic conception of God is the most valid because it is most in conformity to him. For example, in Christianity you often hear Jesus is part of God, he is God, the sun of God, which is problematic because Jesus never said such a thing to begin with. You hear that jesus died on the cross. Well if Jesus is God and he died, that is problematic because God does not die so there is a big contradiction here. If you study the qur'an you will find there are no contradictions.  It states that Allah is the one, who doesn't have a sun, wife or Husband. In fact he is not even a male. If a person reads the qur'an with propper context there are actually no contradictions.

Firstly, several responses.1. My response was not at all harsh, neither did I say anything bad about your Grandmother. Second, I respect everyon'es beliefs. Third, and this is a clarification, I'm not trying to convert anyone, because it's honestly not my job to do that.GCW I an not a fanatic - we all have the right to our own beliefs so where's the problem? The fact of the matter is we are all going to be tested by Allah whether we like it or not. Whatsoever Allah does is correct because he is perfect in his essence and attributes. Just look at how kind he is to you, he enables you to use your hands to type, your legs to walk, your brain to think. Look at how he provides for the birds and everything in the heavens and the earth. We have to accept that when it comes to the wisdom of Allah, our knowledge is not even as much as a bird dipping its beak into the water. You should always remember that there are people suffering even worse than your Grandmother. I recently lost my Grandfather, but I do feel comfort in the fact that Allah decreed the best for him.  And perhaps your Grandmother might recover, Allah only knows, and she might be a much stronger person! And consider the rewards of paradise.I have pasted part of article for your benefit. Again, not trying to convert anyone - just giving information!Allah, the Exalted, says:block quote"Truly, the muttaqun (the pious and righteous persons) will be amidst Gardens and water-springs (Jannah). (It will be said to them): 'Enter therein (Jannah),in peace and security.' And We shall remove from their breasts any deep feeling of bitterness (that they may have). Re: I am affronted by the presence of god

GCW, my reply to your post.1. All of us have been created by Allah, the wise, the kind, the generous, the noble, and that is for one purpose. To worship Allah, may he be glorified and exaulted, in the best way ever. As Allah says in the qur'an: "And I have not created the jinn and the mankind accept they should worship me alone." Surah ad-dariat. Just look at how noble this is! You get to prostrate to him, ask him for your hearts lawful desire, beg of him, magnify him, what else could you want? And guess what, you don't need Jesus to intervene on your behalf, because in Islam Allah has given you the ability to talk to him alone, in any language you wish. You want to be a medical Doctor? You can say, "Oh Allah, make me a medical Doctor, please I beg of you!" You want to be guided to truth, just ask him! As Allah says in thequr'an: "186. And when My slaves ask you (O Muhammad ) concerning Me, then (answer them), I am indeed near (to them by My Knowledge). I respond to the invocationsof the supplicant when he calls on Me (without any mediator or intercessor). So let them obey Me and believe in Me, so that they may be led aright."Just look at the meaning of this! In this beautiful verse, Allah says that he is near - the arabic word is kareeb and it's only used in the context of supplication just to show how near Allah is to his servants in his knowledge!  Usually, when Allah wants the prophet to say something, he would usually use the word in the beginning "kul - say."  "94. Say to (them): "If the home of the Hereafter with Allah is indeed for you specially and not for others, of mankind, then long for death if you aretruthful." However, in the first verse of the qur'an I quoted, the fact is Allah is so near to his creation it doesn't even require the format "say." Whenever you read the qur'an, you always take it as though Allah is addressing you. He is telling you simply ask me and I am there for you! One of his atributes is ar-raoof which means the kind.Second, perhaps this old Lady is being tested with this disease. As part of Allah's kindness, he tests people with hardship in order for them to draw closer to him! We have to remember tribulations are like a bitter medicine, though we may not like them, they still better us, just like a bitter medicine does even though you don't like its taste. You have to realize Allah in his perfection is still taking care of this Lady. And you know what Allah says about the patient people? Read the translation and ponder. "153. O you who believe! Seek help in patience and As-Salat (the prayer). Truly! Allah is with As-Sabirin (the patient ones, etc.).154. And say not of those who are killed in the Way of Allah, "They are dead." Nay, they are living, but you perceive (it) not.155. And certainly, We shall test you with something of fear, hunger, loss of wealth, lives and fruits, but give glad tidings to As-Sabirin (the patientones, etc.).156. Who, when afflicted with calamity, say: "Truly! To Allah we belong and truly, to Him we shall return."157. They are those on whom are the Salawat (i.e. blessings, etc.) (i.e. who are blessed and will be forgiven) from their Lord, and (they are those who)receive His Mercy, and it is they who are the guided-ones." So be of good cheer! All this Lady has to do is to say "La illaha illalah" before the angel of death comes and she will be on a good track to earn Allah's mercy, when the angels come down with bright faces and take her soul ever so gently out of her body to the one who shows the most mercy even more than a Mother child. Allah is more kind with us than we can imagine. I suggest you listen to the Qur'an, you can also read the translated meanings. i will give you a few short recitations, listen and let your heart be calmed, show these to this old Lady that she may be guided aright.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HZdqFdRn7KU=133sThis is surah saba, type in surah saba english translation.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7SmGTrTFbzEThis surah maryam - it's an especially read for Christians as well. This is chapter 19.The third is surah rahman, chapter 55: This may be especially relevant to you and this old Lady who is quite ill may Allah cure her, grant her a long life full of goodness and guide her to the true way!https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YLwbtREU2UYMy honest  request for you is to read the whole qur'an, because the islamic conception of God is much more clear, much more valisd and rational than Christianity.

Re: @GrannyCheeseWheel, I've sent you a PM

Okay guys, let's try and resolve this PM issue.1. The problem with trying to email somebody is that not everybody feels comfortable with giving their email address so the forum can  be a kind of safe space to remove their concerns. Remember, email addresses are highly personal information. Also, what if the person that is being messaged is not necessarily a friend? It's going to be a real chore to ask for everyone for an email address just so you can send them a PM.Second, I think there are  only two ways to work around the issue. The first is to simply skip the topic and the second is to create a system whereby if a PM is sent, the addressee of the message will receive a notification with a link that will take them to the actual messege or even seeing the message  in their email, you know like when someone replies to your youtube comment, you get an email to say so and so has replied with their message.Best regards.

Re: DHT Studios is back!

Dennis, just some advice.1. It seems to me that you are running this website on your own. You should assemble a team of people who actually know how to manage a website, a business website so you can have some credibility. It's natural, one person cannot just do everything on their own. Professional companies have many people managing their websites not just one or two persons doing the job. As it stands your website looks more like a personal website than a professional company website. There is always a can with help. Also Jack, try to be a bit softer on him. What he needs is good advice so he can be guided gently. If he refuses to listen, then you have at least done your duty to him. He is old enough to take responsibility for his actions just as you and I am.2. You wrote"I am DHT, or known as DHT Studios. I am currently 16 years old and developing, playing and contributing audiogames and programs for the blind. on thissite, well, let this small web services inspire you!"First as Jack said, check your grammar.Second, in the world of professional business, no-one really cares about who you are or who I am. Sounds sad, I know, but humans don't really value each other as much as they should. Also you being 16 years of age is not really relevant here. What kind of programs for the blind do you develop? Can you please explain? You need to make your introduction look more attractive so consumers can be drawn to it like two magnets being drawn together. Therefore have someone to edit your content on your website in order to make it look better. Remember, customers will pay for anything if it's worth it.Finally, I think a lot of other good things have also been said so do take note of them!

Re: academics, what is your reference management workflow?

2020-10-30 Thread AudioGames . net ForumOff-topic room : Thunderfist799 via Audiogames-reflector

Re: academics, what is your reference management workflow?

Hi,What I'm going to say is not only relevant to this topic but is important in general.1. For those of you especially living in the UK, most universities use Harvard referencing so please do learn it as a serious lack of referencing can make you lose a lot of marks.2. Please learn the differences between a bibliography and a reference list. Some teachers may be okay with you calling a referencing list a bibliography but others will not.3. Pretty much for all of your assignments you will be required to put al the references in alphabetical order. Sounds annoying, I know, but you should do this in order to get the best grade.4. If your teacher reviews drafts make sure to send as many as you reasonably can. This is is especially important if you misunderstood how to answer the essay question.4. In terms of referencing and citation, my suggestion is to have a notepad document wherein you include all the referencing information such as the authors last and first name, whether there are one or more authors, the journal name, volume, issue - keep in mind some journals don't have an issue number. The way you will reference may differ from how a particular journal references the particular paper. This is how a journal may make it look. Keep in mind this is a real example. The example is as follows:1. Turning it on is a class act: immediated object relations with televisionBeverley SkeggsGoldsmiths University of London, UKHelen WoodDe Montfort University, UKMedia, Culture & Society33(6) 941–951Media, culture and society is the journal name.33 is the volume of the journal, 6 is the issue number. as you have probably guessed by now, 41-51 are the page numbers of the paper.2.British Journal of Educational Studies ISSN: 0007-1005 (Print) 1467-8527 (Online) Journal homepage: http://www.tandfonline.com/loi/rbje20 THE ZOMBIE STALKING ENGLISH SCHOOLS: SOCIAL CLASS AND EDUCATIONAL INEQUALITY Diane Reay To cite this article: Diane Reay (2006) THE ZOMBIE STALKING ENGLISH SCHOOLS: SOCIAL CLASS AND EDUCATIONAL INEQUALITY, British Journal of Educational Studies, 54:3, 288-307DOI: 10./j.1467-8527.2006.00351.x I'm sure you can figure out the rest. Keep in mind though, some journal articles may not have the information you need for referencing. Either you would have to look through your university library online or go to the source you had downloaded the information on in that case. After you place the jounral information in notepad, you can make key notes on what the author is saying. This is very efficient because it means you won't have to constantly go fishing through the websites you got the information from - it's all there for you! This will also make it easier to use citation software for reasons I've explained above!A final note: Your teachers may wish to make some slight modifications to the way the referencing system is used. If they tell you to do something even if it goes against a small detail in the reference system you are using do it! Also, do clarify with them if you are confused about anything as they will know best how to handle you differently! Remember, every university has its own regulations!

Free skype credit.

Hi,Hope you all are doing well.As many of you may know, skype has a feature called skype credit. This feature allows you to call mobile and landlines directly from your computer. However, if you go through the conventional method, you'd constantly have to be paying money to buy skype credit. Luckily, however, there is a way to do this without having to pay. Basically if you have a microsoft rewards account, you can use the bing search engine to earn points. After you do this, what you are supposed to do is to click redeem now. All right, I do that, and then click skype credit. It takes me to this voucher code page which you are supposed to pay for, by the way. However redeeming skype credit via bing is meant to be cost free, that's what all the instructions say! I currently have 81 points which I want to convert to credit. I tried both through the skype and bing rewards websites by clicking redeem now, the same! Where am I going wrong? I feel a bit wary of trying to find free voucher codes online. Isn't there a universally free code you can type in? If so, please post it here - as far as I am aware you can share voucher codes. Note I'm not asking for anyone's personal code, I'm just asking for a universal code known to many people. Are there better apps for phoning people? As far as I have researched they require a specific phone number that is part of the app such as a number the program gives you. What I am looking for is a program that doesn't give you a specific phone number, a program where you can just type the number and ring ring ring! Can you connect it to your own personal mobile? So for example, say I want to ring Dark. Please be aware this number is made up! I actually don't want to call Dark, just giving an example!02084428989Any help would be very strongly appreciated!Best regards!

Hi,If it's a cold or your occasional blocked nose, you should have ginger tea like maybe 3 4 5 times a day. This will kill the microbes  Inshallah. You might also wish to have some paracetamol   to speed up the recovery process. Regarding the Kovid test, bare in mind that wherever you live, getting tested can be a real hassle. In this case, what my advice would be to you is to be prepared for all scenarios just to be on the safe side.

Firstly when I said stay at home I didn't mean totally isolate yourself. Anyway, this is a temporary measure.Second, you can drink jinger tea as it may be a preventative measure. I think at this stage preventative measures are more important than cures because if you can prevent it, then it won't attack you.  This also gives Doctors more time to work on cures to prevent this sickness. This does not in any way mean that we shouldn't give equal effort to finding other preventative measures and cures.Third, let's all calm down and stop claiming that we discrediting each other. This is in regards to one of Ethin's posts. I know the situation is very tense for a lot of people but let's all keep calm.Fourth, on the political aspects, I think this is why we need a Sultanate so the Sultan can make the correct decisions and organise his people in the correct way.Fifth, it's all good worrying about ourselves but what about regions of the gloab such as Syria? Syria has been pulverised by the terrorist Assad and his Russion and Iranian friends. The medical facilities in Syria are virtually very few. Added to that the economy has been smashed. I'm just saying that we shouldn't think we have it the worst because others like the Syrians in Syria will be worst hit than we will ever be especially the refugees because they already have other diseases to handle in addition to this.

Hi RT entertainment, Hope you are well.I don't know how your school system works so I'll give some advice.Cultural activities - there's no need to worry about them. Just focus on your studies and you should be all right.Your camera - if there is a need for you to take it for one subject, take it. Honestly I don't see the need to have it in every lesson for that one subject but it is always useful to have it nearby. Make your decision based on what your teachers tell you about each lesson. For example, "can you please bring your camera... next lesson we will be doing so and so." Your laptop - take it, you never know when you might need it. For example, you might be required to access the internet in your classes to search specific things. Also your brail devices might break so you always a useful backup.Lastly, do try to find a good support worker. If you are male, find a male one, if you are female, find a female one as that will be better for you. If you do get into trouble e.g. being discriminated against, maybe they can explain your situation to the relevant people. They could act like a sort of advikit for you. Also, quit gaming, it will improve you a lot.Best,Thunderfist.

Hi Wanderer,Firstly, I would have to agree with you. An argument isn't going to benefit anyone.Secondly, you ask a very good question. One should want to get married,as this prevents harms such as fornication befalling society and pushes community closer together. There is also the most important benefit, love between a man and a woman is strengthened during marriage more than living together or separately i.e. being indipendent. Also  marriage has ways of reducing stress. That's not to say I'm denying that marriage comes with hardships as well.K Jones,,, this is the last comment I'm going to make on this subject, because I don't want a flame war to erupt. I'm not saying you would do that, please don't get the wrong messag. I don't think a dog, for example, would think of committing suicide. It could have leaped to run away, which is what dogs do anyway when they're terified. Again, what you're saying is v
ery subjective because everyone has a different definition of suicide. Yes, animals have free will. But they don't have the same level of self control as humans do. For example, a human could become angry and then he will calm. A lion, on the other hand, if he is angry, he'll eat you. He has know controling instincts. This is why animals cant commit suicide, because there behavior, while learnt, is not like ours. Ours is more controlled.Best regards,Thunderfist

Hi Wanderer,Regarding in cases of depression, it would not be a good idea to say that. The best thing in that case would be to encourage them not to commit suicide. As I said, suicide or assisted suicide is another disguise for murder, whether one does want to or does not want to clasify it it as murder is besides the issue. The reason why people are in depression in todays world is because of social media. Social media has torn entire families apart. Besides there's the obvious issue of social networking websights such as facebook, twitter etc. In the old days, people used to communicate in far closer distances. However, now you could be communicating with your Brother, who is two blocks away on internet! That would cause problems. If people weren't as depressed,  today's politicians would be unable to control entire nations. Regarding marriage, people do need to marry. Children need to be produced, good moral needs to be strengthened, and sexual
desires need to be fulfilled. Not to say that's the entire point of a marriage, but it is one reason that it is necessary. Especially in a day and age like today, where too many young people go on spam websites, gam bling and drug industries. If the male, ffor example, marries a good woman, then she can prevent him from doing those things just by her character.Best regards,Thunderfist

Re: Right to die and quality of life

Suicide, assisted or non assisted, is an incredibly disgusting act. It is an act that makes one even lower than an animal with the acception of children, of course, as minors are not capable of making propperly informed deicisions. Minors being those whom are below the age of puberty. I have never heard of an animal committing suicide before. Those who are against suicide have the right idea. The damage that suicide could cause is extreme. Families are torn apart, crime increases, hatred increases. People need to grow a brain and realise that this world is not heaven. This world is never perfect, it shouldn't be, and will never be. There are going to be wars, misunderstandings, etc etc. Especially in this day and age, it is especially vital to keep patient. Yes, we do lash out, frequently, rarely, but those are minor compared to such a breech in human morals.Regarding abortions, the law needs to be tightened on them... Too many women are too career obsessed to consider
the ramifications of abortion... By aborting a child, you are essencially killing a human being. Yes a human being not just some fetus. You would rather sacrifice a loving relationship for nothing - not directed at you by the way. It's like when the woman has sex out of wedlock and has a child, or maybe in wedlock as well, she goes, "no! I can't have this!" Women need to realise that they have specific roles. There is nothing wrong with a woman working and doing good, provided she has the permission of her husband. The main job of the woman is to cook and clean the household anyway... I guarantee you that were we to switch back to the old functionalist society we had back in the day, crime, stress, etc would be reduced by a great deal. I'm not suggesting that the woman should be treated like a toy, that is wrong indeed. However what both genders need to realise is that both have rights over each other.. It is the man's right that he should be obeyed in
all things, accept when he is doing an immoral thing, such as gam bling, in which case the Wife should advise him and if that doesn't work then can she withdraw from him. At the same time, men should realise that women need to be loved, treated with honor, and that their opinions count as well. For example, if the Husband decides to rent several properties, and his Wife has given her opinion to him, he should consider it. Women do have valuable insites and they shouldn't be ignored. What we really need is a loving balance in society where a strict moral code is observed. There is nothing wrong in a woman having abortion if she feels her life is in danger. Indeed, sometimes it is necessary if she is a Mother and has several children that need looking after. Best regards,Thunderfist

As for that case where the Ta was the persons only friend, if that is still the situation, please tell them to take it up with the school. If you put enough pressure on them they'll eventually yield. Hi,I can't answer that question because Maths is not my strongpoint. However, the school should really help. In my school I am being encouraged to do things indipendently and people are trying to   find things for me to do such as outside school activities. Don't you have something like a TA? In England that stands for Teaching Assistant. Basicly they help students with special needs. If something needs to be read out in print, and the student does not have  the brail, they'll read it to them. They would go as far as to organise the students books or send them emails with work to complete or sheets to read in class. I have multiple. They should be trained in brail and how to help you visually. If not, you might want to look into getting some DVDS or employ someone to teach you necessary life skills.Hope this helps.

Re: The rules of good discussion, please read

Hi Dark,I also think its the way that things are worded sometimes and sometimes when we say a view, it can be taken as offensive. For example, when I meant tender hearted women, what I was really trying to say was generally, and I wasnt trying to make a certain distinction. After all, even though men generally have more upper strength than women, there are those women that can sendd a man flying with their tail between their legs. Just as a man is generally stronger than a woman, he may be below the average standard for the physical strength of a male. It is true that one man could be equally as tender as one woman. Indeed I once saw a woman that wasnt particularly very nice. The way she said excuse me, it was downnright rood. I dont want to get into a debate about women because honestly, that discussion has died down. I kept silent and for a deliberate reason. Stuff like that can spark tention. I guess I should have proofread a bit more carefully.Best regards,Thunderfist.

Re: What do people believe when it comes to religion and or spirituality?

Hi Bladestorm,As for the Mahdi, I believe he is true and will come. Jesus will not be a lesser prophet, he will be the Caliph. Regarding Wahabis, not all of them are like that. There are good and bad ones amongst them. What you said can bear some weight. What I mean is, there are people who do claim to be Mahdi. Its not only from the Wahabis, but all across the Muslim world. The guy goes on Tv and essencially claims to be Mahdi, thus leading people astray. The thing about death really comes about the verses that deal with the kafirun disbelievers. In arabic, kafir has two meanings. 1. Too disbelieve, 2, to knowingly cover up truth with falsehood. So you could have a friendly kafir. What these extremist Brothers and Sisters dont really realise is that if Allah allowed men to marry Christians and Jews, why would then he allow us to kill them without provication accept for our conceived ideas? Whats also interesting is that Allah says regarding Christia
n and Jewish women, nore take them as secret concubins. So it is clear that once youre married with them, they have the same rights a Muslim Wife would have. Now there are several reasons why this ignorance exists, and has lead to the growth of organisations like Isis.1. Islamic websites. There are really bad ones out there, like Islamca, that promote this sort of thing.2. Parents. It is the responsibility of the Mother and Father to educate the children in the religion, although most of it is best to do by the Mother since the Mother shares a connection with the child that the Father does not have, therefore she can understand her child better and adapt her teaching. Unfortunately, parents sit 24 7 watching Tv,, not praying, and let their children get to their own devices, which, as anyone knows, is bad parenting. Tv should only be watched for a bit.3. Family influences. The thing about this kind of family is that they indoctrinate children
with these damaging beliefs from a young age.4. Ignorance. People dont read the Quran properly. You cant just understand the Quran by reading it. And thats with any religious book. You need to read a comintary. For the Quran I suggest read Tafsir Ibn Kathir, its online and free of charge and very good. Ignorance also means making the wrong sort of friends, whom can influence the person. What these Muslims dont realise is that Abu-Talib, the uncle of Prophet Muhammad S.A.W, was a non believer, yet the Prophet S.A.W loved him.Hope this helps. Remember, it wwould better to ask a good Sheikh such as Sheikh Hasan Ali. They know the Quran better than I do and I only know some of it, so I dont want to say the wrong thing. If you live in the Uk it would be easy to attend his lectures provided theyre not too far away. Check his facebook regularly, he regularly posts where his new lectures
bsp; will be. Additionally, if you want to get in contact with him, ask Ebrahim collige (just type it into google.) You might be able to contacct him through Hikma online. Dont expect an immediate response because these institutions are quite busy. And the staff may be on holiday. Give it a few weeks before resending the email and hopefully theyll reply.

Hi Darkk, that sounds funny. And just to clarify, I wasnt intending to be sexist. I didnt mean to suggest that women are more tender hearted than mmen or anything like that. I dont want to say more since this will spyrll into a debate which will deviate from the topic, and I might potentially offend someone which might start a flame war, and I am one to pick my battles wisely. That said, I didnt mean to offend anyone, but Im sorry if I did.Okay, this one is really good. Basicly before I went to secondary school we had an induction day. Thats just get to know the school before you enter sort of thing. They asked on the paper what I wanted to do. So I got my LSA too write I want to make sweets that turn people upside down. It was inspired by the levicorpous spell in Harry Potter and the half blood prince and the sweets that caused stuff like nose bleeding, invented by Fred and George Weasley in Order of the Phoenix.
Another silly thing I did when I was little was that I deceived my Father. I thought he wouldnt allow me to have chocolate. So I told him that I was going to the toilet. Well I went into the kitchen, went into the cupboard and had my chocolate. I did get told off for that though.Okay, this one wasnt done by me, but was told to me. Well, a kid a few years younger than me told me this. In his school, someones name was called at registration. . The person said, sorry, he cant answer you now. Just like a messaging machine on a telephone. The person who did it got into really big trouble. This was in year 9. Ms. Gishen told us that she came from Africa. She tried to get us to guess where she came from. I asked, zululand? Everyone in my class laughed. I actually thought she might come from zululand.

Okay, this one is kind of funny.Basicly in bournmouth I was with my friend Jacob. We were in our room and I told him that I was attracted to a girl called Nella. I wish I hadnt told him now. This is not something I did, but it was a silly mistake. Basicly a group of people went to a trip. What makes this insidant so funny is that it was done by accedent. Two boys accedentily shared the bed. I dont know whether it was a displacement, or whether the rrong boy accedentily fell into the same bed. When they woke up, it caused quite a bit of an insidant.Another one was in primary school. Basicly what they do is they bring police officers every year. Honestly they teach you nothing, but at the time I was a kid and soaked up everything they taught. Apparently the police officer was female and I said, I like female police officers. What I actually meant was that, and Id kindly ask everyone not to jump to conclusions, I like female pol
ice officers because I like women. Ive always found it easier to get on with the women rather than the men because females are tender hearted. What I mean is that women have a different sort of tenderness because of their Motherly instincts. I cant explain it, words on paper cant really describe it. Thats not to say men arnt either. I dont want to say anymore because I dont want this topic to spyral into a debate on women and men, and I dont want to offend anyone, because each person has different personalities and different perceptions. But back to the insidant, my LSA [learning support assistant] said that the officer was female.Number three is rather dangerous. So brace yourselves! I nicked my friends hat. My other friend was chasing me, trying to get it. I planned to give it to Jake in class. Unfortunately, I was so focused on outrunning Jacob. I tripped up on a lunchbox tray and bashed my forehead into the radiator. L
uckily the damage wasnt critical. They just took me to hospital and bandaged my head.Okay, this one was silly of me. It worked once before, so why wouldnt it work again? We were in class. In order to execute my plan, I told my LSA that I needed to go to the toilet. You know those cubical toilets? I nelt down and I stuck my head under the door. I tried to pull it out but it was stuck. Tried a few more times. Then screamed for HELP! So help did arrive, and I got told off by my LSA [learning support assistant.]This one happened about two years ago. I was walking to my form room. Basicly thats a room in school where students meet up, and the register is taken, news is given, etc. Discussions outside of class are held. Each year has several forms. As I was walking out of the bridge, I tripped up on a chair and fell. My RS [religious teacher] was there. One of my guides told me that she has a boyfriend. Well I wanted to ask, and there were
several students there. So I asked, Miss Gishen, do you have a boyfriend? Everyone burst out laughing but she told me that I shouldnt ask questions like that becauee they were inappropriate.I have more that Ill share later.

There wasnt a washing machine so I tried to put the pocket directly under the water. A day later, just as we were leaving, it was found.Another time was in year 7. As the end of day registration was going on, I hid under the table. As my name was called out, I came out from under. I dont think the teacher appreciated it though.I have more for later.

Re: Missing Malaysia Flight MH370: Top 10 Conspiracy Theories

Youre right Afrim. Historicly, the problem with European governments was that they could not take someone more powerful than them. It doesnt matter whether they are Muslims, Christians, whatever. They clearly hate it because theyre scared that theyll be overthrown or they dont want change. . Take the cold war as an example. Was it truly an effort for a better world? Of course not. America was scared because Russia was getting strong. Britain and the rest of Europe hid in the arms of Mother America. Clearly, the plot of these European and American states was to suppress third world countries so they couldnt become strong. They boast of democracy when in actual fact they are just a biggeted dictatorship. They boast of soliderity, human rights, when they practicly respect none. Let me give a few. In Afghanistan, about a year ago, a U.S soldier got out of base, went straight into an Afghan town - this was in the night, and began shooting, scaring the children. They were hiding behind anything they could! What happened? He clearly got off. I was sitting in my cadet camp and listening to how the British were finding it hard to defeat the Taliban because they were using gorrilla warfare. Man your precious capital has a third of the worlds cameras and you cant even defeat a symple vigilanty organisation? That just doesnt add up. They had to drop a £500 bomb on a compound. More efficient if they didnt arm these guys personally. Im not suggesting that the sargeant supported it. Trust me, the biggest powers in the world are powers like the eluminati and CIA. Incompitant leaders like David Cameran, Barak Obama, Clinten, are all pawns. It serves their advantage, of course, in controlling the world how they please. I actually feel sorry for labors loss because had they won, they might have been able to fix our countrys problems. Im not saying that labor is the figuurehead of light, but what Im saying is that administration has been better under labor. For example, they set up a perfectly free NHS that came into force in about 1948, if I remember my history correctly. Now someone correct me if Im wrong, but Camerans privatised the NHS. Can you imagine how many problems that will now lead to? Thanks to the upper classes, what good doctors we have are now gone. In England the medical system used to be really good, but now its detiriating. There are still good doctors around, but not as much. I know a GP Doctor that looks in the book for everything. Shes a nice woman, and I have nothing against her... Its just that come on, you need to expand yourself far beyond your training. In Private Turkish hospitals - they are expensive, they took good care of you. I met this Turkish guy in a mosque and he told me far more about the human body than any normal Doctor in this country would. For example, I know a lot of people would disagree with this, but he says the rocking is perfectly natural. He claims he can fix it. Basicly what he does is he wrubbs this oily thing onto your feet and does a massage. And not any kind of massage either. He targets specific nerves that leads from the foot to the brain. And Turkey also has better police training. My cousin is a police. In Turkey, a police is armed. Unlike how they portray it in the media, what the police actually try to do is calmly put down what is ggoing on. For instance, if they cant persuade you calmly, they then use pepper gas. If they cant use that, they try to use guns as little as possible since even pistols can cause a lot of damage. Whereas the police in England beat you up if you even try to protest. See although Turkey has political problems, and there are very bad factions, the police at least try to resolve it. And let me mention that American police officers are much worse. The chance of getting killed is incredibly high.Best regards,Thunderfist

Re: What do people believe when it comes to religion and or spirituality?

Bladestorm,Not sure where you read about Jesus being the leutennant of Muhammad S.A.W but thats not true. Basicly the truth is this. At the end of time, Dajjal, also known as the false masiah, will claim to be Allah and a great war will be waged against the Muslims. Imam Muhammad Al-Mahdi will be our caliph at that time. The Muslims will go out at that time and will fight the Dajjal Insha Allah, accept those who are staying in Mecka and Madinah. Those will be the two protected places from his evil on the face of the earth. Whenever he tries to approach them, angels will draw swords against him and he will be forced to flee. Eventually, Jesus piece be upon him will come from heaven and kill the Dajjal himself with a speare. After that, Allah will tell us Muslims I have made nations that none of you ccan fight against. Gog and Maggog will break from their trap. Basicly King Dul Carnain, the friend of Ibrahim piece be upon him, built this wall made from molte
n metal if I remember correctly to keep those two tribes out, for they were causing problems. As we speak, these two tribes are working their socks off trying to pound the wall, saying Insha Allah. The next day, Allah repairs the whole. However he eventually lets them through and they will cause mischief in the earth. Many people will be led to hell. Jesus piece be upon him will go to a mountain with his companions and pray to Allah, and Allah will destroy them. After that piece will remain until Jesus As dies. The Mahdi will be an adviser to Jesus As. In fact, in a Hadith, the world will be so pieceful that a girl will run at a lion and the lion wont even harm her.Best regards,Thunderfist.

Or maybe it was the Americans launching their genecide against good peoples again so they can cause a distraction to cover up their dirty activities. And we have evidence of their dirty activities. Why is it that they spied on 200,000,000 phones? Trust me all of this is planned stuff. Another thing is the amount of poverty in the world. I can understand you feel disappointed when people do that. To be honest Dark, hunny is better than chocolate. It is healthier and actually makes your hunger disappear. Plus, you can have hunny in a container for a year and it wouldnt go off. This has been scientificly proven. Also, certain types of hunny can cure certain types of illnusses. I have a very bad sore throat and would have gotten some hunny, but they dont cell it here. And even if they do,, it would probably be too expensive so my family wouldnt get it. Another good food you can have is those yoghurt bar thingies. If you really feel out of commition, those should be good for you. Anyway, off to start a new thread.

Hi Dark, thats understandable, I suppose. Westerners arnt generally as hard as us Easterners when it comes to eating very hard food. Im like that too, I would never eat anything with pepper unless the taste isnt in there. And if the kofte was disappointing, it shouldnt have been. I erge you to look in England if you ever have the chance, and you should be able to find a good one. And disorganised breakfast habbits? Id do this but I thinkk my old man would bale me out since I dont know where the layout of the kitchen very well. Basicly, get up at 4, 5, or 6. If youre the kind that likes to sleep, get up at 6. Fetch some fruit to eat. A good breakfast is one that is little but energises you. See, rather than having four sandwitches, you can have 1 chese, 1 chocolate spread, and eat some fruit, and youll be buzzing. Additionally, cirial can help as well. Dates have been proven to be rather energising actually. If you feel ve
ry exhausted, either eat some dates or chocolate after breakfsst. Two days ago, I had two chocolates - I dont know what they are. They tasted nice and energised my exhausted brain.

Re: all about food!

Hi,Very nice topic indeed. My favourite foods are:1. Rice. Tastes absolutely beautiful, especially when Mum cooks it. The best in Urfa is Firik Pilav. My Father and Mother can both make it.2. Meet. Especially when its fried. Roasted chicken is also one of the best foods you could get. Tawuk Sote is also good. Someone Turkish please translate that into English for me.3. Lahmajun. I cant remember the recipe so if anyone knows, please forward it to the discussion. Basicly you wrap up meet and salad into a role. The slices are really small. They can be very spicey, or they are not/. Spicey ones are good because they are healthy for your body. Essencially, they make your blood less sugary, reducing the risk of misketos attacking you in the night. It might burn you but trust me my friend youll feel strong. Just make sure not to get a too spicey one otherwise you might cry. And thats not an insult, that is actually true. Once we boug
ht food in Turkey and it was so peppery that my Brother was crying because it hurts a lot! 3. Adana. Another turkish food. I actually dont know how to describe it but you should deffenitly try it out. Its this long meety thing. If you go to Durrum - not Durham in Saudi, by the way, then you can buy it.4. We call it arap tawasi in Turkish. I really dont know how to describe it. In english it translates to arab dish, but I dont think its actually from Arabs. If you go to a Turkish restaurant just ask and youll love it.Chocolate cake is also nice. Kunefe ttatli is also good. If you do vacation in Urfa, youll taste it. See thing in England is when you get turkish sweets like Baklava, its cold. However in Turkey youll first get it nice and hot. They love to add a lot of sugar in Urffa though compared to England so do eat sparingly! Seriously, the stuff here will energise you if you feel out of comition. Persona
lly, I think the way food produced in Turkey is much better than the food in England, ffor example if you live in rural areas. For example, they make Lahmajun in London, and its good, but the quality is knowhere the level of Birecik Lahmajun, because we produce organicly. Im not saying in England there isnt organic food but in rural areas it is very easy to come by and in places like Istanbul it is very hard.Best regards,Thunderfist.

Re: What do people believe when it comes to religion and or spirituality?

Hi Druv,These are some of the vertues of a Muslim. Since you said youll kindly listen, Ill share them with you. Even if you still dont want to become Muslim after this, you could start to implament these vertues in life, because Islam not only lays down religious obligations but also gives us day to day vertues. Id erge you to read the Quran and read a reliable comintary, Ibn Kathirs RA one being a good one to redd. That said, dont take this as me trying to preech onto you, Im only doing my mission to Allah as best as I can by showing what is the truth. The choice, as you said, is yours, and if you turn around and say I dont want to practice these vertues, Ill leave you to it, because Im not responsible over you. Here are the vertues.1. To believe that Allah is one and perform what is obligated upon you.2. To have good edikit. If a person is a backbighter, a lier, Allah wont accept the
ir worship because worship is to better the human self.3. To aim for the highest in everything.4. To show patience and self restraint. For example, if your friend angers you, to sit down if youre standing, to lie down if youre sitting, and to take an ablution if that doesnt work too. Since youre not Muslim, Ill say to you take a bath or just wash your face with water.5. To be greatful for what you have, and look as those who dont have as much as you.6. To wake up in the early morning, around morning prayer. Now this could be at 2, 3, 4 oclock or any other time depending on where you are. I know you dont pray so instead you could get on with work or something. In fact, the most successful people statisticly wake up early in the morning.7. To chill out and enjoy. These are a few of the vertuesBest regards,Thunderfist.

You could buy a lion instead. And raise it. Until it becomes giant big. And then you could connect a microphone to it. And the microphone is connected to the speakerrs. And then when it roars in the early morning, you can wake up the entire street! Just kidding. But buying a dog will be incredibly hard. Im not saying you shouldnt, but just be prepared. Especially if the dog is naughty and likes to charge everywhere.Regarding poo Dark, you dont actually need to scoop it. Here is a trick I learnt. Ill do my best to describe it. Basically you put your hands into the bag. The bag is like a gluv. Your hands touch the poo, although you are shielded by the bag. Make sure to have all of it within your grasp. Then you turn the bag inside out, and the poo is in the bag.

Re: What do people believe when it comes to religion and or spirituality?

Hi Sukil,Let me reply to your post by offering you a historical context. But before I get to that, please remember that some websites try to bad mouth us Muslims. The verse and kill them wherever yee find them. Doesnt mean that a Muslim should grab a disbeliever and chop off his head. Indeed, I have non believing friends and I have interacted wwwith them, neither of which is against my religion. The Prophets uncle Abu Talib was a disbeliever, but the Prophet didnt fight him because his uncle respected his faith. During the time of the Prophet, the Muslims were persicuted. They had to watch their family members die, were beaten, etc. These verses therefore came down to instruct the Muslims to slay those who directly waged warfare against them. Indeed, Hazrat Umer, the second leader of our nation after the death of the Prophet S.A.W agreed to protect other religious establishments, such as Churches. There was also an insidant when a man came to t
he Prophet S.A.W and claimed what he had was better than our religion. So Prophet Muhammad S.A.W let him recite old scrolls that the man liked to memorise. Then he recited Quran. Lastly, Allah allows men to marry the people of the book i.e. Christians and Jews. He also says, nore take them as secret concubins. So you can see how these arnt actually atrosities. If you weally want to learn Islam from a reliable source, I suggest you listen to understanding Islam by Numen Ali Kon.Best regards.

Re: What do people believe when it comes to religion and or spirituality?

Hi Sukil,Here is the help youre looking for.Prophetic pradictions:The Hour will not come before you fight against a people with red faces, small, slant eyes and flat noses. They wear hairy leather boots. In another naration, it mentions they will be wearing harry leather sandles, and under each flag there will be a tribe of 12,000. This is in reference to the Mongols conquering the Muslims. Surely, Constantinople will be conquered by my community, how blessed the commander, and how blessed his army. Constantinople refers to Istanbul, the commander being Sultan Mehmet. This has already happened.Lastly, he predicted signs that would take place before the day of judgement which, if you look, are coming true. For example, the pen will become widespread. This means that people will become more literate. Secondly, there will be men with whips like the tale of cows and they will abuse people. The
re will be women inclining their head like bactrian cammels, and they will appear dressed and naked. Thats roughly what it says. This naration was hard to understand before, but now we have an explanation. The men with whips part refers to abusive people like police, whom hurt others. The women part was even harder to understand, for how can a woman be dressed and naked? What it means is that there will be women that will be indecently dressed and will incline men towards them. You may have seen those kinds of people. Bare in mind that although he said women, it also refers to menn too. However, women use it more effectively. One example of this sign is spam sights on the internet. Also some advertisements, where they have half dressed women walking round. Also There will be more wars. One both proven by the bible and Quran. Wars are increasing now and becoming more and more destructive. The people of knowledge will be seazed. Means th
at ignorance shall grow. Lies will be immediate. Perhaps this is one of the most amazing of his pradictions. Basicly it means that lies will be spread. You type something into the internet and press send, next thing you know, chinees whispers, and then chinees shouts! Rumble in the jungle! The mmystress shall give birth to her slave. What this really means that the Mother will give birth to a son/Daughter that will command them. And this is on the rise.Miracles:Here are three that I knowOnce, Hazrat Aisha Ra, the Wife of the Prophet peace and blessings be upon him, dropped her needle. His face became bright like the moon, and she was able to find it and continued sowing. The second one is a historic one. This one was recorded in parts of the world. Basicly what happened is that Allah split the sky in two. This was in prophet Muhammad peace and blessings be upon him time.Lastly, if you look at the body of any Muslim ma
rter - good ones by the way, youll find that their body hasnt decayed.Theres also other miracles. For example, scientists have discovered benefits of the Prophets daily habits. For example, naps in the day which he frequently took, Miswak a brush that you can easily obtain, which has many health benefits, sleeping on the right side of the body, and hunny. An interesting fact about hunny is that no matter whether it is bee or plant hunny, it will never go off. The Prophet S.A.W said the following: Heeling is in three things. Hunny. This has been proven to be true. I was once speaking to a Doctor, it was a bit less than a weak actually. He told me that certain kinds of hunny can treat certain illnusses.Hope this helps.

Hi Tward,Here is the proof youve asked for.“Do they not look at the sky above them?― How We have made it and adorned?...” (Qaf, 50/6) The following is stated in another verse:“And among His Signs is the creation of the heavens and the earth, and the variations in your languages and your colors: verily in that are Signs for those who know.” (ar-Rum, 30/22)Another sign is Allahs two names, Malik and Malik. One of them means King, the other owner. Have you ever heard of anyone saying I am the King and owner of this kingdom?Sincere regards,Thunderfist799

My good companion, youre absolutely right. People are just like animals in todays world. Let me give you an example. A few weeks ago, my mums car crashed into another persons car. And there was no damage. Just a minor scratch! But the other couple wanted us to pay insurance! Relax people, just a little scratch.

Re: Very disappointed by some people

What I thinnk the actual problem is that people dont bother to educate themselves. They obey one part of the religion and disobey the other part, the commands that tell you to learn and use your brain. Because of this, certain political leaders or religious leaders try to use religion as a weapon to get the people to do what they want. And the people believe because they have no propper knowledge of the commands. And as for what you said for us Muslims Thomas, not all of us are like that. There are those of us, like myself, that campaigne for peace. I actuallly worked in a charity once. It was A World At School. It was founded by Gorden Brown. I met his Wife during my work experience actually. Shes got this dont mess with me sort of aura, but she was quite nice. The thing is nowhere in the Quran does it say chop the heads of French cartoonists. The verses that relate to actual warfare are taken out of context and interpreted far too literally, b
ecause the people have no background knowledge. If we dislike something, we are erged to leave it. Similarly, if we are in an argument with someone like our Wife, Husband, etc, we are encouraged to back down before any bad things could be said, and talk together when calm is established. Though I have to agree with you, we have problems in countries such as Erabia, and all our rulers can do is gobble up money money money. What Im trying to say here is that religion isnt the cause of war, its the ignorance of certain individuals. That said, I can understand where youre coming from, Thomas.

Re: Very disappointed by some people

Also dont forget the Saudis, too. Theyre responsible for half of the worlds problems. You know Haj? The reason why the government in Saudi does it is to earn money. Millions of people flock there and they can get a huge amount of cash from there, which they dont bother to use for the good of the world but for themselves. The charity I spoke of earlier. They say that they want all 58,000,000 children in school. Yet are they doing anything? The excuse is that theres not enough data. The fact is, were these big people to give their money to the world, we could cure poverty temperarily. Essencially, it will happen in like in the time of Caliph Umer Bint Abdul-Aziz. For those of you who dont know, what happened in the time was that the Muslims were so wealthy that they literally tried to give money in charity to people in the street, but no-one took it because no-one was poor!

Re: What do people believe when it comes to religion and or spirituality?

Hi Brad,Just to clarify a point. We dont sing the Quran. I know it may sound like that to some, but the Quran is so amazing that nothing humanistic like singing can be atributed to it. When you linguistdikly examine the Quran, you see that it is written like a poem. The nature of old arabic is such that the Quran could be recited malodiously.Secondly, to those who asked why we have problems. Here is my answer.God is testing us to see whether we should go to heaven or not. Yes, I know God knows everything, but what we have to remember is that Allah is - Ahad. Ahad in arabic means 1, but 1 in a special distinction. Unlike anything else. So you cant really think of Allah in logical terms, since he surpasses logic itself. Back to what I was saying, whereas humans should have been on the straight path, they have deviated from the truth because of their own desires, inspired by Iblis Shatan.God therefore lets thes
e evils happen to test us for the following reasons.1. Will we believe?2. Perhaps, had he not placed this tribulation upon us, something bad would have happened in our lives.3. Perhaps it is to punnish us for a sin that we committed.4.. perhaps it is to raise our rank in his eyes.Hope this helps. If you still find it hard to understand, I recommend too you and to all other non believers to listen to Numen Ali Kon understanding Islam and Sheikh Hasan ali love of Allah. I think love of Allah is the name. Type it in anyway, and you should find it or something similar to what I said. Also Sheikh Hasan Ali Shaykh I dont watch Tv. While the lecture is about enjoyment in this life, I feel as though it contains interesting points. also Sheikh Hasan Ali temptations of the Dunya. Dunya means world in arabic. He has a facebook page so you can email him with questions if you wish, Im not a Sheikh - one who knows their religion very well, alth
ough I am trying to learn. This guy has years of knowledge and experience that I dont.Hope this helps.

Re: I have some questions and a kind of rant to christians on this site.

Hi Brad,I cant answer Christianity for you, but I can answer one question. Why follow a religion? I can only answer this from an Islamic point of view, but what Im going to say can apply to most religions, I think. Now the thing with Abrahamic religions is that God is the ultimate power. He decides everything. He knows all. He is perfect. Therefore we should submit to him. This is a chance to get closer to God - Allah. Had he wanted, he could have subjected us to enslavement. We would have been in misery then. But out of his gracious kindness, he spared us. Since Allah is so high, we will never be able to understand him truly. Secondly, we love God Allah. A for no reason, and B because he has done so much for us. For example, in Islam, when youre a baby, you vommit. Your head moves. The islamic explanation for this is that an angel moves the head of a little Baby. The Baby is in the presence of a loving, smiling angel! Thirdly, because we fear him All
ah. We fear his wrath, because it is severe. Those natural disasters are caused by him he ccreated life and death, that he may try which one of you is best in deed. If we fail Allahs explanations, tomorrow is hell for us. The last reason is because of augh. After all, by his permission, I can write what Im writing! By his permission, birds can fly! You can eat! He brings night and day! He is the creater of the unseen and the seen, the winds, the ocean, your spouse - if you have one, that is. The creater of love i.e. your most intimit moments. He is the creater of your spouses comfort, when your sad and she or he hugs you and whispers nothingss in your ear, thats all by his utter power. There are other social factors why people choose to follow a religion. For example, the family are Jewish, therefore the child is Jewish. Why do people go to hell?I can only say this on islam. In Islam, not every Muslim will go to heaven. Some will go to
hell and then go to heaven. For example, one who believed in the religion didnt worship. Other people, who killed, stole, and committed all kinds of evil deeds will abide in hell forever. This is because killing is such a great sin. For example, were I to kill you, it would be as though I killed the whole of mankind. Why should a person that never repented go to heaven?Regarding the disbelieving point. Now when I say this, I want to make it chrystal clear that Im not trying to enforce what my religion is saying. Im just practicing it. Allah says your duty only is to convey the message.Disbelief would send someone to hell because you havent submitted yourself to your Lord. After everything he did for you, after having given you what anyone could want for - life and a pleasureable life without problems after death, after having given you food, clothes, parents, cibblings, Wives, Husbands, etc, this is what youd do to him? By disbe
lieving, youre essencially slapping God in the face. Youre saying buggger off. I dont care about you. Whatever, your faivours. You are unintentionally mocking God - Allah. So it stands to reason that one should be punnished for such disobedience. Also remember that logic isnt the answer to everything. You can never understand a religion if your heart is not open to it. Through the heart, can you only logicly understand it, i.e. why the signs of Gods existence makes sense.Hope this helps.

Re: Happy Ramadan

Wa Alaykum Salaam Wa Rahmatullahi Wa Barakatu - may Allah have his peace, mercy and blessings upon you, my friend. Fear not. Trying to learn arabic is the first step to becoming a Walli Insha Allah - Walli is like Allahs best friend. Theyre like his best humans. Walli in arabic means ally of Allah. Insha Allah means if Allah wills. Whenever you remember to say it, say it. It means if Allah wills. And believe in what you say, too. In Surah Kahf - the cave, Allah says, and never say I will do this tomorrow without saying if Allah wills - Brothers and Sisters if one of you could give a better translation, Jazak Allah. Here are the arabic words you dont knowDua - supplication. Requesting something from Allah. So Allah, give me good health, is a dua because youre asking him for good health.Jazak Allah - I cant give you a solid translation, because I cant remember. But it is merely thanking someone
in the name of Allah. Only Allah can truly repay what weve done to them since he is ar wiser than us. Type Islamic expressions into the internet and you can find it Insha Allah.Mumin - believers. So anyone who does good in this world such as helping others and does the salat - namaz or prayer, how ever you prefer to say it, is a Mumin.Jinn - before I tell you this, make sure not to get Jinnfobic I.E. Fear that a Jinn will attack you or hate all of them.Essencially, Jinn are invisible beings to humans. They can travel longer than humans are able to. Some of them can fly, others can take different forms, others travel. Most of the Jinn form the army of the Shayatin - Ibliss evil army. Iblis is Lusifer in the bible. Shatan means Satan. There are Christians, jews etc from amongst the Jinn. They have civilisations like we do that we cant generally see unless Allah wills. Some Jinns that are really good might try to help you. Others might t
ry to mislead you. These are the Shayatin. The top guy of the Jinn is Iblis. Most listen to him but some dont. Some Jinn might even befriend you, but thats rare.Normally, Jinns cant cross over into the human relm, even though they can see what were doing. However, in certain circumstances, they can - only when Allah allows that that to be happen. However, remember that theyre still generally sinning. Some people believe they cant though. The worst a Jinn might try to do is whisper in your head evil thoughts (Wasswassas.) It is rare for a Jinn to attempt possession, since they are forbidden from doing so. Jinn are physicly stronger than humans, and can vertually live anywhere. However, although they are similar to humans, they are not as intelligent. They make up for this by being crafty. Remember they know how to push youre buttons because you cant see them but they can.As I said, dont become obsessed over them now. F
or a more detailed description, listen to the world of the unseen by Sheikh Hasan Ali. Its on youtube. For protection from them, read Ayatul Kursi - the verse of the throne. Type it into the internet and you will find it Insha Allah. You should be able to find an english translation. If you find it hard to recite in arabic, it doesnt matter if you have a bit of an accent. Just try your best. I suggest going to your local Mazjid to learn arabic.Surah - a chapter of the holy Quran.Ya-Seen. Chapter 36, means the helper. Listen to it in the morning, it is a Sunnah - what the Prophet did. S.A.W - I cant write the full arabic means may Allahs ppeace and blessings be upon him. That saying is for Prophet Muhammad himself. I cant remember the other saying you use for the other great people that Allah has mentioned in the Quran. If I have made any mistakes, would one of the Brothers and Sisters kindly correct it?Wasa
 llam Wa Rahmatullahi Wa Barakatu.

Wa Alaykum Salaam Wa Rahmatullahi Wa Barakatu. Good Jumuah today. Very nice Imam too. Led the prayer well. The guy who delivers the Adan does it well too. Fatih, just out of curiosity, are you going to go to Imam Hatip school? While were at Ramadan, let me share a few stories. True ones by the way.A few wweeks back, I went to my local Mazjid. They brought in a Sheikh who told us that once a man came to him. Apparently, before Ramadan, the guy had all sinful erges. When his Ramadan was over, he felt all free for 7 months. Then as it approached Ramadan, his sinful erges came back. Just shows how much harm Ramadan can do to Shatans plans. My Imam Rahim Allah went to say that according to a Hadith, if you commit evil things like zina, backbighting, your fast is not accepted. Thats not to say that anyone here does it. But it is still something important to remember. One of my Sheikhs stories was that in his Madrasa, his late Ustad - menter, ,
who was a great Walli of Allah, changed the life of this guy who was on drugs. What happened was this. The boy was caught taking drugs. The Madrasa staff were planning to chuck him out. So this great Sheikh of my Sheikh got up and the two resseled. Then the Sheikh asked the boy, what do you like? The boy replied poetry. So the Sheikh sat up for hours in the night just teaching the boy all about our Islamic poets. Eventually, the guy became pious! And Alhamdulilah, this guy is now a scholar of the Deen. Guess thats the last Ill narate.Just remember Prophet Muhammad S.A.W said that fasting is the half of sabr.Brothers and Sisters, if you find that sinful erges are hitting you, deffenitly take the chance to fast. You still have time! And perhaps it may be your last fast. Wasalaam Wa Rahmatullahi Wa Barakatu.

Re: Happy Ramadan

Brothers and Sisters, remember to read any duas you have that have shielded you from the Shatan. Any duas or surahs. Although Iblis and his goons are locked up in Jahannam the devils are tied - thats a part of a Hadith and only relates to Iblis and his top dudes, remember, after Ramadan, hell come at you like a tornado. And we know how annoying Iblis and his wasswassas can be. So if you recite your duas and do lots of zikr, Insha Allah, hes going to kill himself trying to turn you away from the straight path. Make him cry. Secondly, Jazak Allah for the replies. May Allah keep the men and the women of the Umma safe from all afflictions and evil thoughts this month. May he bless the Mumin amongst the Men and the Jinn who are fasting and or worshiping for his pleasure. Just one last note. Accordding to the same Hadith earlier, it says the gates of Janah are open, so theres more Nur. Subhan Allah! And lastly, if you know someone that is
on the brink of death, Insha Allah may it not be so, tell them that death in Ramadan is a mercy. Play or read Surah Ya-seen if you can. We should all make dua for the ones suffering, not for us Muslims but the whole of humanity. We are all equal in the eyes of Allah and we should deffenitly note that on Laylut Al-Kadr. Just remember it can be the last odd nights of the 10 remaining days, and possibly the twenty second day. So start preparing from day 20.
