The problem did not start with a lot of material being added

inspired when I spoitted that one of my favorit places for
other types of info also had an article on TM and MMY).

What prompted the Kali's Dead-Enders to lock me out was that
I happened to take the criticism in this article seriously
and investigated the sources used. I made a few observations
on the unreliability of these (apperently hosted by anonmyous
 entities also hosting xxx-sites).

The only response I got was rather muted and simply proclaimed
 ignorance of behind-the-TM-facade.org front-site.

The the WHOIS entry for behind-the-TM-facade.org refers to
Unstress4less, and the site's content does appear to me to be the same
as the original Unstress4less site, which was likely the creation of a
Christian fundie who used to post on a.m.t as Petrus. The most
likely reason for Unstress4less now being a site about penis
enlargement is that the original owner let the domain registration
lapse, and it was scooped up by a domain squatter.

Here is an article I posted to a.m.t in 2001 that details the info I
was able to sniff out on the Unstress4less site:

  meditation.

 Or rather; pranayama :-)

As was pointed out, AOL's focus is the pranayama technique. However,
they do teach a meditation technique as well. I learned it about 12
years ago, and the puja sounded just like the one used in TM
initiations, the mantra given to me was one that is found on the
various online TM mantra lists, and the technique instruction was
basically the same as TM.

As for my AOL experience, I liked the people in the org; they struck
me as having a lot more heart than TB TMers. However, the
hyperventilation pranayama was not to my liking, and the new mantra
was never as charming to my mind as the old TM mantra. My impression
of seeing SSRS in person is that he answers questions with giggles and
spiritual-speak non sequiturs. All in all, not my cuppa.

Gives some idea of the strength of the Boomer wave.

But is also eye-opening for jyotish. It means that about 330 or so
people back in late 40's - 50s were born with same basic chart --
down to same ascendant (lattitude / logitude differences just mean
they were not all born similtaneously). Only some high level
divisional charts would differ. So there are 330 or so in america
alone (some multiple if world is taken into account) who have the same
chart as Bill Gates, Bill Clinton, Charles Manson, Neil Young, Tom
Cruise, Steve Jobs, Hilary Clinton, Condi Rice, George Bush, etc.

Thus only subtle differences in higher level divisional charts could
distinguish the distinguished from the also ran. Yet almost all
analysis one sees on this or that celebrity, or for ones own basic
chart, high level divisional charts are not use (nor are many
jyotishees well versed ins such IME).

So if you happpen to get a chet done, ask, so how am I different from
the 330 other americans with the same basic chart? Or a
celebrity's chart is provided -- showing how revealing jyotish is,
 ask the same question.

The first time Chakrapani did my chart, he used the time on my birth
certificate (6:00 pm). I walked into his office, and the first thing
he said to me is that with my youthful appearance, there was no way I
was Sagittarius rising. He then went on to give a natal reading of
someone who was definitely not me. He rectified my chart to 6:55 pm,
and independently, Terry Johnson came up with the same rectified time.
So, just because a bunch of people were born within 60 minutes of each
other doesn't mean their lives will unfold in similar fashion.

Would your security software be a Norton product by chance? I have a

was quite good).

Having undergone so much transformation since her first visit, I
decided to go back and see how I'd react now. I was again underwhelmed
by the hug, but I could appreciate the heart value of the gathering,
and I was not inclined to make snarky, cynical comments about it like
I was the first time. And, again, the Indian lunch was delicious.

If I could structure an Ammachi experience according to my own
desires, I'd replace the hug with an equal amount of time just gazing
directly into her eyes (i.e., like Waking Down's gazing meditation).

Unstressing had nothing to with it. I know you can't help but try to
pigeonhole my experience into your cultishly held TM worldview, so if
it makes you feel better to think that way about my experience, so be
it. But, for me, it was simply a matter of having reached the point
where I had to move on.

In my case, I simply reached a point where my mind would no

tolerate doing TM, so I stopped and moved on.

Why couldn't you tolerate effortlessness any longer? And what
doing are you referring to other than that?

I'd sit down to meditate and my mind wouldn't settle down. It was
outwardly focused and could no longer tolerate the escapism of
transcending. I'd always looked at TM as a means of fixing what I felt
was broken, and as such, TM was for me just another piece of the toxic
ego dynamic of grasping and aversion, preventing me from being present
in the here and now.

However, TM never fixed what I wanted fixed, and I finally came to the
end of the TM road. The right path for me ended up being one where
instead of tiptoeing around sleeping elephants, one goes right up to
the sleeping elephants and slaps them on the ass.

And Waking Down is also not for everyone (in fact, I'd say it's not
for the vast majority of people). What bugs me, though, is that the TM
TB has to portray my dropping TM as a case of me being weak and
unwilling. The TM cultist mindset can't deal with the fact that for
some people, TM isn't the Universal Bestest Solution to Everything. TM
served me well until it didn't. There was no weakness or unwillingness
on my part; I'd simply reached a point where I required a different
source of spiritual nourishment.

You know, Alex, this doesn't even *sound* like you
talking. It sounds artificial and rote and self-
 conscious.

The terminology of egoic grasping and aversion came from an Adyashanti
essay I read. But, it perfectly describes what was going on inside me.
Being present in the here and now is definitely a new age platitude,
but it perfectly describes the sense of free-flaoting in now that I
experience as a result of my Waking Down brand Second Birth Awakening.
Escapism of transcending is my own wording.

To flesh my story out a bit, my big issue was not accepting myself as
I am. I seriously believed TM would make me str8. After all, if
homosexuality is such an egregious violation of Natural Law, as I was
led to believe from ideas floating around the TM community, then TM
should be able to fix that. So, in that context, TM was feeding my
aversion dynamic. I dropped TM because it was, for me, a spiritual
mismatch, and I'd reached the point where every fiber of my being was
making that clear.

I agree. When MMY passes the TMer's will flock to him
and be pleasantly surprised. He's what we always
wanted MMY to be.

And there-in lies your psychological weakness that the universe
will not abide anymore. You always wanted Maharishi to stay just
the way you liked him...cute, cuddly, and mollifying your need
to be a follower. Ravi Shankar has taken on that role for you.

Did Guru Dev mollify MMY's need to be a follower?

Probably not as long as you baby-boomers have been seeking your
saviour. Why not? Throw away america throws everything away. Throw
away gurus. Why not? How many will you need to mollify your need?

Personally, I have no need or desire for a guru or other savior
figure. But, there certainly is a very long tradition of devotion to a
guru, and it just struck me that being devoted to MMY or Punditji is
no different than MMY being devoted to Guru Dev.

I would suggest that there is a difference. You
probably would never have seen the other disciples
of Guru Dev obsessing about former fellow disciples
who had moved on, and spending hours badrapping them.
That's a Western addition to guru yoga, and IMO
 it's not an improvement.

I dunno, Barry. Considering the crap Guru Dev's devotees were willing
to sling at a fellow devotee (MMY poisoning GD stealing amulet,
etc.), I could see them perfectly capable of slinging crap at
ex-devotees. It could be, though, that there is less guru hopping in
India than in the western world.

I'm in a weird category here on this forum.
I've seen what appeared to be real levitation,
possibly a hundred times over fourteen years.
So I'm convinced it can be done, well enough
that hundreds of people at a time can see it
and agree on what they saw.

But in my honest opinion what I witnessed
there, *whatever it was*, was not the same
phenomenon as bouncing on one's butt while
performing the TM siddhis. Completely different
  energy profile, completely different results.

FWIW, that's precisely what the various TMers who
claim to have actually flown say about it (at
 least that I've heard).

It also resonates with my occasional experience
when, at the apex of a hop, for an instant I have
the gut sense that I'm no longer hopping but
 resting in the air.  The distinction is stark;
it's a horse of a completely different color.
 Everything changes in that instant.

I didn't lift off during flying until I refrained from all sexual
activity for a month. And, then it was a shuddering up the spine and
an involuntary muscular contraction in the leg/pelvic region with no
heavy respiration as if there were heavy exertion. I also did my fair
share of looking around in the dome, and I saw activity that in no way
resembled forceful hopping. For example, I saw a guy who was sitting
cross-legged (instead of lotus) and he would lift off with his legs
just dangling beneath him, but the movement was too smooth and slow to
be a muscular contraction. I also saw hopping that resembled a stone
skipping across water, which was not at all like the muscular,
non-sutric butt-bouncing demonstrated on the Donahue show.

To be honest, I really dislike doing the TM-Sidhis program, and I have
zero intention of ever doing it again. But, I have to admit there's
more to Yogic flying than just bouncing around with muscular exertion.

Fairfield, Iowa, is one of 12 Great Places You've Never Heard Of,
according to the August-September issue of Mother Earth News.

Great Places, according to the magazine, range in size from Blue
Hill, a small arts community of 2,346 residents half way up the cost
of Maine, to St. George, a town of 59,780 in the southwest corner of
 Utah near Zion National Park.

Fairfield, with 9,459 residents, has more restaurants per capita than
San Francisco, and is a surprisingly sustainable and cosmopolitan
town, the magazine says. Also noted are the Iowa town's connection
with Maharishi University, organic food and entrepreneurs.

Here's the Fairfield section of the story as it appears on the Mother
Earth News site:

http://tinyurl.com/gsnoa

Fairfield, Iowa

Your image of southeast Iowa probably doesn't include the world's
premier ayurvedic health spa, more restaurants per capita than San
Francisco or 25 art galleries on the downtown square, but these are
just some of the many features of Fairfield, a surprisingly
sustainable and cosmopolitan town.

Since 1971, Fairfield has been home to Maharishi University of
Management, founded by the Maharishi Mahesh Yogi. What began as an
effort to teach India's ancient principles of health and peace to
Americans has spread into many aspects of life in the community.
Fairfield hosts an Eco-Fair every year, and has the most homes with
solar energy or other green building features in Iowa. The county has
the most acres of organic cultivation in the state. It also has earned
praise for its entrepreneurial spirit — many small businesses thrive
there.

Two miles north of Fairfield is Maharishi Vedic City, where all homes
are designed and built according to the principles of ayurvedic
architecture, in which each building faces east and has a central
silent space called a Brahmasthan and a golden roof ornament called a
kalash. The sale of nonorganic food is banned in the city, and
construction recently began on what will be 100 acres of greenhouses
powered by wind and solar energy for the year-round production of
organic food.

Population: 9,459
County: Jefferson
Climate: hot summers; cold winters; rainy springs
Cost of living index: 79.7
Median home price: $96,200
Alternative energy: net metering and renewable energy incentives
Don't miss: Maharishi University's golden domes

Betcha this ginseng tonic has a lot more kick than that overpriced tea:

WASHINGTON (Reuters) - People who ate a low-fat vegan diet,
cutting out all meat and dairy, lowered their blood sugar
more and lost more weight than people on a standard American
Diabetes Association diet, researchers said on Thursday.

They should be more specific about that vegan diet because vegan just
means no animal products, and that can include a lot of fattening
foods. I know some obese vegans who eat few vegetables and mostly
grain, beans, potatoes, and other starchy foods. In my own case, I
lost 30 pounds and improved my blood sugar levels by switching to a
less vegetarian diet.

arrested Friday on suspicion of drunk driving, hurling religious
 epithets.

Mel Gibson's statement regarding his arrest:

After drinking alcohol on Thursday night, I did a number of things
that were very wrong and for which I am ashamed. I drove a car when I
should not have, and was stopped by the L.A. County sheriffs. The
arresting officer was just doing his job and I feel fortunate that I
was apprehended before I caused injury to any other person.

I acted like a person completely out of control when I was arrested,
and said things that I do not believe to be true and which are
despicable. I am deeply ashamed of everything I said and I apologize
to anyone who I have offended.

Also, I take this opportunity to apologize to the deputies involved
for my belligerent behavior. They have always been there for me in my
community and indeed probably saved me from myself. I disgraced myself
and my family with my behavior and for that I am truly sorry.

I have battled the disease of alcoholism for all of my adult life and
profoundly regret my horrific relapse. I apologize for any behavior

necessary steps to ensure my return to health.

[FairfieldLife] Re: Organic or Not

2006-09-13 Thread Alex Stanley
--- In FairfieldLife@yahoogroups.com, new.morning [EMAIL PROTECTED] wrote:

I am wondering about Organic Veg in FF (and elsewhere). The
Organic network Alex has referred to -- lots of home gardens
as I envisioned it. Are all contributors certified organic?
(a seven year process, as i understand, and involving lots of
on going paperwork.) And if not certified, do the local home
gardeners use chemical fertilizers at times? Beyond compost,
 and manures, etc.

Most growers at the FF farmers market are not certified organic
because it costs too much. But, you can ask the growers about their
growing practices. E.g., Ernie Hinkle uses pesticides on his fruit
trees because it's just too much work and expense for him to get
decent quality fruit with organic methods; however, he stops using
chemicals at least four weeks before harvest. But, he uses no
chemicals on his veggies. (BTW, Ernie is 82 years old and still
bringing a few hundred pounds of produce to market twice a week; he's
a local treasure.)

Personally, I'm less rigid these days about eating organic. I avoid
the most chemically intensive conventionally grown fruits and veggies,
but I won't pay a premium for certain items if the non-organic are
less expensive and better quality. E.g., I don't eat the skins of
avocados and lemons, so I don't hesitate to buy non-organic ones. And,
lately, the organic lemons and avocados have been very poor quality
and very expensive.

Also, the Organic standards allow manures, and i think bone and
blood meal. Nothing more appetizing than throw dead cow blood and
bone materia, and pig shit on your pristine orgainic veggies.

IIRC, organic standards dictate that animal manure be composted for at
least six months before use. And, bone and blood meal are *way* less
vile than the comfrey fertilizer I make at home (comfrey leaves
allowed to rot in a bucket of water for several weeks... stinks to
hell and back.)

Almoe or with other things, particularly chais.

Almoe = alone? Dunno what 'chais' refers to.

Is the marmalade basically just whole citrus and stevia cooked down to
the desired consistency?

And, bone and blood meal are *way* less
vile than the comfrey fertilizer I make at home (comfrey leaves

What specifically does the tea bring to the soil?

I assume whatever compost tea would bring to the soil. There might
also be desirable plant growth hormones in it, as comfrey is an
extremely vigorous grower. It's one of the very first plants to start
up in spring, and by late May - early June, there's a huge growth that
you can cut completely off at ground level. After BushCo's nookuler
winter, the only thing left will be comfrey, cockroaches, and kudzu.

I have tried successfully something you mentioned per your practice --
some time ago. (maybe on AMT -- I lurked occaisonally). Yellow
liquid fertilizer. Remarkably effective. And all those great trace
minerals from over vitimization. Just have to water after
 ferilization. Esepcially on warm days.

I'm kinda down on that right now because two potted plants died this
summer after getting several waterings with well diluted pee. I lost a
California bay and a Thai lime. I wonder if it's the sodium content;
pee is kinda salty, and some plants might not like that. These were
indoor plants, so I'll limit its use to outdoor plants that get
flushed out with rain. The petunias outside in pots are thriving just
fine on pee.

There's also a barrier spray that can be sprayed on fruit that is made

And, this year, one of the growers at the farmers market told me about
a biological based insecticide for foliage-eating pests, called
Bull's-Eye, that he used to kill the grasshoppers in his greenhouse.
We've had a serious grasshopper problem in our greenhouse for years,
and my approach has been to let them get big and slow enough that I
can start swatting them dead. I did two sprayings with Bull's-Eye when
the grasshoppers had matured quite a bit, but it still took out the
vast majority. The bigger ones that survived were thinned out with
swatting. Next year, I'll spray when the guys are just babies, and
that should wipe them out with a single spraying.

Windows Minimum Requirements

* A Pentium processor-based PC or compatible computer

My advice: go with Win2000. It performs better than XP on older,
slower hardware, and it's remarkably robust for a M$FT OS. I used it
on this machine up until a month or so ago, when I finally switched to
XP because I was encountering too much multimedia content requiring

think Shemp will be a problem if we're not here.

Knowing Rick's moderation style, the likelihood of him booting any of

Who was it that invented this brahman thingy?
And can it ever be found?
As in the completely fabricated brahman thingy of Mr. Raja Roy
 circa 1828.

PLEASE SEE THE UNDISPUTED *HISTORICAL FACTS BELOW*.

The term brahmo(which later became brahman) did not exist prior
 to 1828!! period.

We can factually determine this because the *Offical British* census
conducted later classified the major religions, and brahmo *was
classified* as a seperate and distinct religion
 see link cited below
..The, Brahmo religion can be first found in an offical census
conducted in India by the British Provinical Goverment in 1872..
 source-
 http://www.censusindia.net/religiondata/Introduction_2001_religion.pd
 f

The Hindus (and all of India for that matter) of 1827 knew nothing
of a brahmo / brahman as the term had not ever been used to
describe a god of a religion that had yet to be invented by Raja
Ram Roy!.. THAT IS A FACT!
 see link cited

..He founded the Brahmo Samaj at Calcutta in 1828, which was
initially known as the Brahmo Sabha..
 source- http://www.chanda.freeserve.co.uk/rmroy1.htm

...Brahman is worshipped as the sole creator and supporter of the
universe. This monotheism is based on the interpretation of the
early Vedanta, the Upanishads, and the Brahma Sutra.
Ram Mohan Roy,founder of Brahmo Samaj, identified the monotheism of
Christianity and Islam as of universal validity...
  source-
 http://philtar.ucsm.ac.uk/encyclopedia/hindu/ascetic/brahmo.html

Rammohun Roy (aka- Raja Ram Roy)..
...Greater, however, than the influence exercised on the
philosophical thought of modern Europe, has been the impulse which
these same Upanishads have imparted to the religious life of modern
  India.
In about the same year (1774 or 1775) when the first MS. of the
Persian translation of the Upanishads was received by Anquetil
Duperron, Rammohun Roy[24] was born in India, the reformer and
reviver of the ancient religion of the Brahmans.
A man who in his youth could write a book Against the
Idolatry of all Religions, and who afterwards expressed in
so many exact words his belief in the divine authority of Christ
[25] was not likely to retain anything of the
sacred literature of his own religion, unless he had perceived in
it the same divine authority which he recognised in
  the teaching of Christ.
He rejected the Purânas, he would not have been swayed in his
convictions by the authority of the Laws of Manu, or even by the
sacredness of the Vedas. He was above all that.
But he discovered in the Upanishads and in the so-called
Vedânta something different from all the rest,
something that ought not to be thrown away, something
that, if rightly understood, might supply the right native
soil in which alone the seeds of true religion, aye,
of true Christianity, might spring up again and prosper
in India, as they had once sprung up and prospered from
out the philosophies of Origen or Synesius.
European scholars have often wondered that Rammohun Roy,
in his defence of the Veda, should have put aside the Samhitâs
and the Brâhmanas, and laid his finger on the Upanishads only,
as the true kernel of the whole Veda...
 SOURCE- http://www.infoplease.com/t/rel/upanishads/

 The religion of brahmo-ism / brahman-ism is based Roy's
interpetation of a combination of two schools of thought -
1). the god of Judeo-Christain tradition, and
2). early vedanta Upanishads Brahma Sutra

Roy combined the two schools of thought,
and came with brahmo- ism / brahman-ism as cited
by numerous and widely accepted sources.

In fact there was only one religion-Brahmo that worshipped a
brahman thingy, as is pointed out by Dr. Coplin
in his report on the 'Early History of
 (S)piritual (R)egeneration (M)ovement'.
 see links cited

...We have held it from the very first that Brahmoism was but a
perverted or distorted form of Christianity..Christianity
constituted, as it were, the vital principle of Brahmoism,
it is the source of its life, vigor, and strength..
 source- http://members.aol.com/drcoplin/SRMemergence.html

Furthermore we know for a fact that the British hired Raja Ram Roy
and supported his efforts to create a new religion-Brahmo-ism and
the worship of a brahman thingy it is a *Historical Fact*.
 see links cited

..The employment history and financial support of Raja Ram Mohan
Roy is easily traced. He got a job under John Digby,a company
official of the British East India Company. Ram Mohan was introduced
to western culture, and literature shortly following his employment,
 through Digby... [end]

Well give us the recipe then!

The vegetable was a butternut squash, peeled and cut into roughly 1
cubes, and simmered in coconut milk with curry and saffron, salt to
taste. But, not just a teensy bit of saffron. I buy really high
quality saffron by the ounce (from http://www.saffron.com/ ), and use
decadent quantities of it in a dish.

I put four locally grown lamb chops in a pan with the juice of one
lime, some finely chopped fresh rosemary from the greenhouse, and some
crushed garlic. I cooked them over low heat with the lid on, turned
them over, and cooked them the rest of the way with the lid off (to
reduce the liquid). As much as I like lamb when it's grilled, I make a
point of not subjecting food to high temperatures most of the time.

  Outgrown being light-hearted and silly?

 Namaste Sir Alex,
No, I was refering to the gay boys.
 That siily stuff.

In that regard, the silly stuff I've outgrown is useless, ignorant,
superstition-based societal conditioning with respect to human sexuality.

Although I noticed some potential issues you may have later on..

1). The cold formed metal stud framing at the new fireplace..,the
stud track will rust/corrode due to condensation and permanently
discolor the adjoing tile floor. If its marble the tile will
transmit the dis-coloration to surround tile.

They make entire buildings out of that stuff. If rust and corrosion of
galvanized steel were that serious a problem, the liability issues
would surely put the steel framing industry out of business. The
fireplace is direct vent gas (propane), but I figured that it made
sense to not use flammable materials next to it.

The steel frame is covered in Durock and plastered. Durock seems to
hold up very well to moisture. We had black mold growing on the
drywall next to the garage doors, down near the floor. So, I told them
to cut out a strip of drywall along the floor and replace it with
Durock. They also tweaked the weatherstripping. End result: No more mold.

2). The step down transition from one room to the next at living
room north (with the hard tile cove base french doors).
 http://alex.natel.net/house/new/living_room_pano.jpg
The tile floor may become wet (or the soles of your feet)and you
could very easily lose your footing and slip.

The step down is from the livingroom to a covered, screened in porch.
The porch floor is concrete slab with a textured surface. The floor
slopes toward the screened wall, and there are weep holes for water to
drain out.

3). Expansion joint at the-- tie-in at the existing structure, to
 the new construction.
The two walls will expand and contract at different rates as it
appears from the photo that conventional construction methods were
used from- the exisitng, to new.
 http://alex.natel.net/house/new/cool_storage_west.jpg

What type of expansion material was used?

That particular picture is of a wall between two existing parts of the
house, put up to remove a west-facing pocket that was collecting bad
juju. I don't know the particulars of the interface between the old
and new construction.

Did you use an elastomeric paint to re-paint the exisitng exterior.
And, was new construction exterior stucco color coat integral dye-
 colored or elastomeric?

The color isn't integral because we didn't want the textured colored
finishes that the guy showed us. We wanted a smooth finish. I don't
remember the particulars about the color coat, but it was some special
stuff for stucco.

4). The baseboard heaters in the north passage?..
 http://alex.natel.net/house/new/north_passage_tile.jpg
Please advise your wife not to hang window treatments that extned
any lower than the window openings..fire hazzard.
What happened with the ciculating hot water heat under the floors?
 not very effiecent.

There is hot water heat in the floors. The passageways, however, have
so much glass that additional radiators were required. The baseboard
heaters are Runtal radiators tied in with the floor heat. Our
intention is to keep the passageways minimally heated, but we wanted
them to have full heating capacity if desired.

  http://alex.natel.net/house/new/

Just my expert professional opinion based upon 25+ years in the
 building trades.

IIRC, you voiced concerns about building issues with the original
house (something about windows and humidity or somesuch), and no such
problem ever manifested. And, the original builder was a guy with very
little house building experience. The new construction was done by the
best builder in the area.

Most repectfully- I politely take exception to your way of thinking
 and conditioning.
So, I am straight(alawys been) happily married (to the same woman)
with 4 kids(w/same wife) for almost 15 years because I suffer from
as you said-, supersitiion-based societal conditioning?.

The useless, ignorant, superstition-based societal conditioning I've
outgrown is specifically that in regard to people who are not
heterosexual. Any societal conditioning you may have about your own
sexuality and relationship is not my concern and not what I was
addressing.

I was under the impression that the marriage I have been engaging
in, is referred to as Vedic householder dharma.

You can refer to it as Jabbledavian Smoogle Glooph, for all I care.
Your impression of your own marriage is not my concern.

And, the human sexuality you still engage in with your
wife/boyfriend is commonly referred to as is what?..exactly?

Seriously, Steve, you need to stop obsessing about my sex life.

[FairfieldLife] Fairfield Iowa Convention and Visitors Bureau website

2006-09-28 Thread Alex Stanley
From today's KMCD E-News:

CVB Website Tracks Visitors

The Fairfield Iowa Convention and Visitors Bureau's (CVB), web site is
up and running with lot of features.

Luci Ismert, Executive Director of the Fairfield CVB, says the site is
user friendly.

It's just a simple one-page click to lots of information from trails,
and camping, plus hotels. Instant information, Ismert explained.

Ismert says there is one very cool feature that allows the CVB to
accurately count and track where all of our site-hits come from. She
says there is a code on everything they market, which will tell the
CVB where the visitor got the web site address from, which allows the
CVB to track the effectiveness of advertising.

The CVB website address is http://www.travelfairfieldiowa.com/ .
