Data Analyst II gathers user requirements for database changes, analyzes
database requirements, creates specifications for the ETL team to load the
data to the database, participates in functional design sessions, creates
and executes test scripts for the load of the database, and aids in the
escalation/resolution of data issues. The candidate must be familiar with
the development lifecycle and must be proficient in querying databases via
SQL or other tools.


Collaborate with team members and end-users from various organizations to
capture data quality requirements, metrics requirements and data quality
rules. Design and/or conduct data analysis using Informatica IDQ 9 COTS
software, to identify data quality issues. Analyze results of the data
profiling or data analysis and report on it using MS Excel or some other
tool. Report should provide summary and detailed metrics highlighting major
issues. Track errors, bugs, and the like in data sources.

KEY JOB FUNCTIONS


- Capture data requirements from business partners and document using Fannie
Mae's SDLC templates

- Profile source data to identify data quality issues. Analyze results,
summarize and product reports

- Collaborate with business users to conduct root cause analysis and assist
them with data quality remediation

- May test new versions of the IDQ product and certify it

- Work independently, with minimal supervision

Data Analysis, Data Quality checks, Analysis of data quality checks to
identify patterns, anomalies, outliers etc.
Will use Informatica's IDQ 9 tool for data profiling and Excel for data
analysis

Must Have:
Strong data analysis skills, strong verbal communication, Excel macros,
detail oriented
Preferred Skills: Strong SQL, Relational Data analysis
Candidates need to have: SQL, Informatica IDQ 9, Excel

Financial/Mortgage industry experience a plus

2115 Wisconsin is primary location, but consultant will have to be spend 2
to 3 days in Herndon (OB2) for meetings/design sessions/client meetings.

Provide database administration and system support for the database

The Systems Analyst will analyze, evaluate and develop existing or proposed
systems enhancements. As a member of an Applications Development team, the
Systems Analyst will provide application software development services or

*Essential Functions: *

   - Must be A self-starter and team player who is assertive, independent
   and can manage multiple responsibilities without close supervision
   - Effectively work with the business and facilitating the definition of
   functional system requirements (JAR/JAD Sessions).
   - Work with the technology team to translate business requirements into
   detailed design documents
   - Serve as liaison between the business and technology groups
   - Coordinate user involvement throughout the project lifecycle
   - Manage all aspects of the business requirements during all phases of
   the development lifecycle and participate in other components such as:
   business case development, development efforts, and system deployment
   - Identify opportunities for process and system improvements
   - Play a key role in managing system requirement changes and estimating
   system/development impact.
   - Gather and document business process requirements, including data
   analysis and modeling
   - Effectively and proactively report status to IT and business management

   - Effectively handle conflicting priorities
   - Successfully manage working on multiple projects and/or phases of a
   project at the same time



*REQUIRED EXPERIENCE*

   - Excellent understanding of all *Siebel processes* for handling Service
   request, opportunities, quotes etc
   - Excellent understanding of all *Siebel workflow* functions (eg:
   workflows, assignment manager, user setup/preferences etc)
   - Experience with *Siebel version 8.X* is preferred
   - Must have proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite including
   Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Proficiency with MS Office advanced
   applications, Project and Access preferred.
   - Proficiency with Visio and Functional workflows
   - Must have strong technical documentation skills and excellent oral and
   written communication skills
   - Provide assistance to technical analysts, business users and other
   project team members
   - Must have experience with analysis methodologies such as use case
   diagrams, detailed use cases, data flow diagrams, process flow diagrams
   - Must have strong problem-solving and negotiation skills • Must have
   strong analytical and communication skills, including ability to:
  - Ability to facilitate group sessions
  - Understand and analyze a variety of business functions

organization.  The Finance and Controlling (FI/CO) Senior Consultant will
apply strong knowledge of the business processes for developing and testing
SAP functions associated with financial operations, which includes expertise
in general ledger, accounts receivable, accounts payable, asset management,
cost center accounting, product cost controlling, profitability analysis,
and profit center accounting.  The individual must have a deep understanding
of FI/CO, including the FI/CO sub-modules, SAP best practices, and the
ability to advise Enterprise Systems Management COE personnel on these
practices.  Successful candidates will also have a strong ability to
understand Amtrak’s production business processes and create solutions
addressing the current and future needs of the organization.

   - Identify recurring issues, conduct root cause analyses, and provide
   metrics as required
   - Partner with Finance and IT personnel to support business operations to
   satisfy inquiries, resolve issues, and support applications
   - Modify or develop new queries, nVision or Crystal reports.
   - Help all business users achieve maximum utilization of the PeopleSoft
   system capabilities for to achieve process improvements, identifying and
   communicating opportunities for automation.
   - Produce necessary system, process and testing documentation.
   - Support PeopleSoft financial system upgrade and patch initiatives.
   - Establish the appropriate utilization of new features in the PeopleSoft
   upgrade release to maximize the web-based capabilities.
   - Train employees on PeopleSoft processing and query development.
   - As requested, undertake project based duties in the IT system
   implementation lifecycle such as analysis and testing.
   - Support financial systems integration and interfacing efforts across
   all modules.
   - Create functional requirements as an input to application design
   - Subsystem accounting and reconciliation with reporting
   - Solid knowledge of AR module
   - All other duties as required or requested.

 *Job Qualifications:*

   - Minimum Bachelors Degree in Accounting, Finance or IT
   - Minimum of 2+ years of experience in a PeopleSoft production support,
   business, or systems analyst role
   - Must have 2+ years of experience with PeopleSoft ESA modules
   - Demonstrated expertise in one or more of the following PeopleSoft
   8.x/9.x modules:
  - GL, AP, AR, TE, Projects, Contracts, Billing
   - Strong understanding of PC, Windows environment, SQL, and PeopleSoft
   reporting tools (Query, Crystal, and nVision)
   - Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with all
   levels of employees including communication of issues and resolutions
   - Experience with PeopleSoft user security administration
   - Ability to understand and document needs, identify/track issues, and
   monitor trends
   - Experience with systems implementation processes and practices
   - Experience with testing execution
   - Experience with accounting/financial knowledge is beneficial

· Experience with real estate commission processing is a plus

   - Manage user support requests using appropriate systems and processes
   and ensure timely resolution, tracking, and monitoring
   - Provide first line (level 1) support for PeopleSoft Financials

   - Where feasible, provide level 2 support, investigation and resolution
