CSColloidal Silver Development System (CSDS)

2012-05-14 Thread Mike Monett
  To All,

I have mentioned the Colloidal Silver Development System (CSDS) on
several occasions, but have not described what it is or how it
  works.

The CSDS was originally suggested by Renee, and has evolved into the
most powerful colloidal silver analysis tool available.

It consists of two separate cs generators with adjustable
parameters, such as electrode spacing, wetted area, etc.

You can compare directly two batches that are identical except for
one difference, such as electrode separation.

If you plot the conductance curves on the same graph, it becomes
easy to show the differences between the setups.

Since the two batches were made at the same time, any difference
must be attributable to the thing that is changed, and not due to
some outside influence, such as difference in lighting, temperature,
  or some other unknown effect.

The same technique can be used to leapfrog development. That means
to start with some small difference, keep the best version and make
some change to the other one, and repeat the test. Keep the best
versions and discard the rest, and pretty soon you can make an
outstanding system that outperforms any other.

I dug into the archives and found a brief description of how the
CSDS is built and adjusted, and some preliminary results:

  http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/silvercentral/message/410

  Thanks,

  Mike Monett

Oh, water definitely has memory. I have proved it several times
myself. Al you need is a scanning photospectrometer and some distilled
water. You run a baseline with the distilled water, then expose it to
something that will structure it and run it again. The effect is
nothing short of dramatic.

I have found that the absorption spectrum in the infrared and
ultraviolet are affected by it seems almost everything. Here are some
of the things I found:

magnets
reiki
orgonite
some spirals of copper wire that were claimed to give off energy
thoughts like love, hate and healing.

These experiments are completely repeatable and different things will
have consistent but different spectrums. However I have found I am
unable to do them myself because I have a strong flux of healing energy
that comes off my hands now and screws up all the results giving a
spectrum of healing water every time I try it now.

Marshall

Marshall,

I completely deny you can have any effect on the absorption spectrum of
distilled water with magnets, reiki, orgonite, spirals of copper, or any
kinds of thoughts.

I have 3 diode array photospectrometers by Hewlett-Packard. They are the HP
8452A UV-VIS models, which are more advanced than the one you have.

I find the spectrums you plot don't make any sense. The conclusions I have
come to are the data is faked, or actually belongs to a different condition
than you claim.

This is not the first time you have faked data. Your article titled
Maxwell's Pressure Demon and the Second Law of Thermodynamics at

http://www.execonn.com/maxwell/maxwells_demon.html

is a masterpiece of deception. It has so many flaws and misstatements of
fact that I am surprised someone has not called you on it before. However,
I am calling you on it now. I repeated your experiment. It does not work.
The only way you could get the data you claim is by generating it yourself.

Any claim you can affect the absorption spectrum of distilled water means
you claim the ability to create matter. This is not possible. It is a major
violation of physical law, which you seem quite willing to ignore to suit
your convenience.

If creating matter were possible, then think what could happen. A waiter
could be bringing a tray of water to guests. He is absently-mindedly
thinking of something else on the way. When he arrives, the water has
turned to wine. How often does that occur?

Your claims are false. Your data is faked.

Shame on you, Marshall.

Mike, Most people don't understand radiation from 1Hz to gamma is
all radiation just different frequencies, some our bodies can
handle some it cannot. Lasers are a radiation, low power does not
hurt your hand hi-power will burn you. Its pretty much power
   density.

It also depends on the frequency of the radiation.

Radiation from 1Hz to Violet light only heats an object. If the
power is great enough, it will cause burns. High-power lasers are
used to cut metals and fabrics with high precision. They are used in
volume manufacturing to mark products like milk and other food
  containers.

Ionizing radiation starts in the ultraviolet. Here, the damage is
far more serious. Ultraviolet radiation from the sun can cause skin
cancer and damage your vision. This why people wear skin cream and
  uv protected sunglasses.

  http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ultraviolet#Harmful_effects

X-Rays can penetrate completely through the body and show pictures
of broken bones and bad teeth. X-rays can also cause cancer. Most
sources recommend to limit the number of dental x-rays per year to
minimize the risk. Operators wear lead shields to protect their
  bodies.

  http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/X-ray#Health_risks

Airline pilots experience more gamma radiation since they spend a
lot of time above most of the Earth's atmosphere and lose the
shielding effect. Astronauts have virtually no protection against
gamma rays. This severely limits spaceflight to the vicinity of the
Earth. Trips to Mars will be fantasies for a long time to come.

  http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gamma_ray#Shielding

The radiation from microwave ovens is far below the visible
spectrum. It is far too weak to ionize tissue or cause damage like
ultraviolet, x-ray and gamma radiation. Microwave energy can only
  heat an object like food.

The damage to DNA from overheating it is the same no matter how the
  food is heated.

Re: CSSilver PH

2012-05-13 Thread Mike Monett
  James C Brown brown...@frontiernet.net wrote:

Does silver water have any effect on your PH

  Thanks,

  Jim

Very unlikely. If you use sublingual, you only absorb about 27 parts
  per billion.

If you ingest 8 oz of cs that's 236ml. If it's 10ppm, you have

  10e-6 * 236 = 0.00236 gm

You have about 5.5 litres of blood.

If you absorb 100% of the cs, 0.00236 gm in 5.5 litres is

  0.00236 /5500 = 4.29090909091e-7 = 429 ppb.

However, you are not likely to get 100% absorption. Roger Altman got
  the following measurements:

  mg Out:

  urine : 3.14
  feces : 0.83
  Total : 3.97

  The ratio is 3.14 / 3.97 = 0.79

  So you may get 0.79 * 429 ppb = 338.91 ppb

This is not enough to affect your ph.

It is also not enough to kill pathogens either. So in either case,
the silver must be working to enhance the immune system somehow.

This means cs will demonstrate all the limitations of the immune
system. For example, it cannot go inside cells to get at pathogens.

This means once an infection is already established, taking cs can't
do much to help. You have to treat it as a preventative and keep
  taking it regularly.

  Thanks,

  Mike Monett

hydrogen peroxide dissolved it to a clear seemingly fine batch.

  max

No one has answered your question. Strange.

The gray whiskers that form on the cathode are pure silver. They are
silver ions from the anode, or positive electrode. They have
accepted an electron from the cathode to become a neutral silver
  atom.

What happens next depends on the current density. At very low
current, such as used in the SilverCell process, the silver forms a
fuzz around the electrode and grows tiny whiskers at the bottom.

At higher currents, a silver sludge forms at the bottom of the U,
assuming you are using a U-shape electrode.

At higher currents, such as most cs generators use, the ion density
is high enough for silver hydroxide to form in the thin Nernst
Diffusion layer next to the cathode.

This forms a soft black/brown deposit on the electrode and sends
some into the dw. It agglomerates later and causes a characteristic
yellow tint to the cs. The color is independent of the size of the
particles. Silver is one of the privileged few metals that react to
light through plasmon absorbance. This resonates with the blue light
and removes it from the spectrum. This leaves red and green, which
combine to form yellow. The yellow portion remains yellow, of
course. This results in the characteristic yellow tint to the cs,
which has been described variously as pale straw, yellow, or gold.

If you ingest the cs, the silver hydroxide is converted back into
silver ions, which then combine to form silver chloride. You can
  read more at

  http://www.mail-archive.com/silver-list@eskimo.com/msg145180.html

When you add H2O2, the cs may turn clear. It can also turn white,
brilliant yellow, black, and probably other colors. The colors are
probably caused by contamination in the H2O2.

Silver is a catalyst for H2O2 and causes it to decompose. The
  equation is

  2H2O2 -- 2H2O + O2

However, hydrogen peroxide requires a stabilizer to prevent
  decomposition.

The clear color results from the stabilizer in the H2O2 reacting
with the silver hydroxide and producing silver ions. For food grade
H2O2, the stabilizer is phosphoric acid. For pharmaceutical grade,
the stabilizer is a different acid. The bottle should say Do Not
Ingest, or Poison, or somesuch. They mean it. The additive is
  toxic. Don't drink it.

In the case of food grade H2O2, the phosphoric acid works in
conjunction with the H2O2 to dissolve silver metal into ions. Here's
how it works. Phosphoric acid, H3PO4, has three hydrogen ions
available to ionize. It loses the first one quite readily. (Thanks
to Wilco Oelen of sci.chem for this description)

  H3PO4 -- H(+) + H2PO4(-)

This makes hydronium ions (H3O+) available in the solution. If H2O2
containing H3PO4 is applied to silver metal, we get the following:

  2Ag + H2O2 + 2H(+) -- 2Ag(+) + 2H2O

Which is what you want to do.

There is another side reaction that uses the catalytic reaction to
turn H2O2 into oxygen and water:

  2H2O2 (plus silver catalyst) -- 2H20 + O2

A similar reaction occurs with the silver hydroxide. I can post it
  if you wish.

You cannot measure the conductance of the clear cs with a pwt. The
phosphoric acid will dominate the measurement. But you can use the
Salt Test to verify you still have silver ions in solution. You can
read more on my Yahoo forum at

  http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/silvercentral/message/560?l=1

  Does this answer your question?

I would not use a paper towel or any other kind of paper in cs. The
paper-making process leaves various chemical residues that can
combine with the silver ions and remove them from the solution.

Recall that you are working with ppm levels of silver ions. Very few
chemistry labs work sith such small concentrations. The
contamination problem is just too expensive to try to to control.

However, we have no choice. We must learn how to identify and
eliminate as much as possible all the different kinds of
contamination, and keep them from ruining or cs. This is not an easy
problem, especially when most people claim the contamination does
not exist. Please ignore such misinformed opinions.

  Mike Monett

CSContamination

2012-05-13 Thread Mike Monett
://silvercentral.org/zmake/dsc09906.jpg

  8. Conductance Drop

If the COM-100 reading drops significantly after the brew is placed
in storage, it is a clear sign of contamination. I have measured as
much as 60% drop. Ken recently posted measurements of a 65% drop.

This is not due to silver and hydroxide ions combining in the
solution. They only combine in the Nernst Diffusion layer during the
brew. After the brew, the layer disappears, and the high ion
concentration needed for the ions to find each other and combine no
  longer exists.

To show this, I evaporated a 20uS brew so the volume dropped to 1/8
of the original volume. This increased the ion concentration by a
  factor of 8, from 20uS to 160uS.

The solution remained clear, and showed not sign of Tyndall or
yellow tint that would occur if the ions combined to form silver
  hydroxide.

The experiment is documented here. Note I made an error in the
calculation and came up with 80uS instead of the proper figure of
160uS. I also referred to the combination as silver oxide. This is
incorrect. You cannot make silver oxide in electrolysis with dw and
  silver electrodes.

If you remove the contamination, you should get much less drop.

I had been getting about 8% drop until recently, when all my silver

My eternal thanks to Renee for suggesting this marvelous idea. It is

CSNegative Energy

2012-05-12 Thread Mike Monett

There has been discussion of non-physical healing methods recently.
Some of these can be quite effective if used properly. Positive
  energy is the key.

But how do you deal with negative energy? The first step is to
recognize it, and learn how to return it back to where it came from.

This is a response to a private email from a friend who has been
having problems with attacks. This is definitely on topic in a forum
that deals with healing. I hope it can help others.

  I start without preamble.

My old girlfriend was a homeopath. Some of the stuff she gave me
really knocked me out. She was the one I bought the two SE-5's for.

She really helped me when I was travelling on business and was full
of pain. They work. I wanted her to marry me. She said she could
not. She knew she was going to die. And so went the most amazing
  woman I have ever known.

She taught me most of what I know about the spiritual planes. I have
had some absolutely mind-boggling experiences thanks to her. These
tell me eventually all this will come to an end and I will gain my
full health back. On a different plane. The first thing I will do is
look her up and see if I can find her and thank her. But she will
probably be on a different plane.

That's ok. Eventually I will get there also.

Find a way to compliment those who try to slap you down. Even
thanking them for spelling your name right. That is a terrible
insult to them. They cannot respond to that kind of compliment. You
need to overcome the attack and win. This is absolutely necessary.

Otherwise the wounds go deep and start to affect other things. Your
  health for example.

Never let idiots rule. Stop them cold, but in a way they cannot
  respond.

Then you turn their energy against themself. They will think twice
or thrice before attacking you again. Make it clear they have no
chance against you. There are many ways to do it. I'm sure you will
do fine. But don't get dragged into a repeated exchange. Terminate
  trolls quickly.

Ignore them. Anything they say will quickly fade in everyone's mind.

You will gain satisfaction of having the strength to remain quiet.

They will gain the frustration of not being able to provoke you.

This is pretty evil stuff, but there is no way to be nice to some
people. You have to put them in their place, or suffer the
consequences yourself. Always return negative energy back to the
  source where it came from.

It doesn't matter if you mess up the first couple of times. The
important thing is to try. Eventually you will get it right, and
they won't even know what happened. But don't let the negative
energy sit. You have to get rid of it.

But not to some innocent victim. Back to the source. And the softer
and gentler you can do it, the more powerful it is.

  Thanks,

  Mike Monett

I forgot the last part. Still suffering the aftereffects of the spore

If you do it right, you can turn the negative energy into postive energy.
And then everyone gains.

Hi Bruce,

The AN/FPS-6 Height Finder Radar specs are at

http://www.radarpages.co.uk/mob/rotor/fps6.htm

They may have boosted the power on different models.

Using the 5MW, 400PPS and 2uS stated on that page, the average power works
out to 4KW. That will definitely do an apple!

We got one of the first GCA radars at Uplands airport in Ottawa, Canada,
back in 1960.

We made the mistake to slew the beam to a nearby hangar, some 400 ft away,
to do a range calibration.

Unfortunately, we ignited every flashbub in the photographers stockroom. He
came flying out of the building enveloped in a cloud of smoke.

He was not very happy:)

We were forbidden to point the antenna at the hangars after that.

What service were you in?

Thanks,

Try Snopes. That same claim is discussed and disproven:

Heating water on a stove has the same effect as a microwave. The water
molecules absorb the energy and move faster. When you remove the source of
energy, they cool and slow down.

You need to repeat the test using plain water as a control, microwaved
water as the variable, and stove heated water as the other control.

Let us know what you find out.

The place I have seen it used is while taking a rack of sterilized beakers

Renee,

Things are not looking so good as before.

After much prodding, James sent me the Yahoo Group link for the ABPA. Here
it is:

http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/biophoton/

As you can see from the message history at the bottom of the page, the last
messages were in Dec, 2011. I wrote him back that I was concerned about the
lack of activity.

Using that as a reference, I found another ABPA group:

http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/Advanced-Bio-Photon-Analyzer/

That one is even worse. The last message was in 2009.

No wonder Lena didn't want to give any recommendations.

Oh well, I may have just blown a $200 restocking fee. I wish I had known
about these forums before placing the order.

Chances are now slim that the device will work. But I'll give it a try
anyway. I have so few options left on killing the mold spores I'll try
anything if it has the slightest chance of working.

Thanks for the excellent summary on other healing modalities. I'll study it
later.

I'm starting to get the same awful odor as a day or so ago. I can't tell
where it is coming from. Getting very bad headaches.

Bye for now

only takes a synthesizer chip and a few wideband op amps, and you
can easily reach 10 MHz. This would be extremely inexpensive,
certainly less than $50 or so. I'm going to make a few that go to
35Mhz so I can use them in the lab as well.

I think you mentioned the frex program stops after a certain time.

There are zillions of free programs on the web that use the sound
card to generate frequencies. I just downloaded this one and tried
it. It works perfectly! It only makes sine waves, but the frex needs
that as the input signal. It then squares them to drive the
  electrodes.

  Here's the scoop:

  Signal Generator

  http://www.techmind.org/audio/siggen.gif

Select or enter a frequency (1 to 22050Hz), an amplitude (1 to
32767), choose left or right channel for output. Press play sound
for a one-second burst, or start- and stop sound to control the
sound continuously (up to a limit of 10 hours!). The Volume slider
should duplicate the Wave volume control on your sound-out mixer
panel. If the sound is playing, then changes (except the Volume
slider) won't be heard until the sound is stopped and restarted.

Download: SigGen_1v3.exe New version 1.3, available since May 2011.

Supports multiple soundcards and better-matched to Windows Vista/7
  sound models.

  http://www.techmind.org/audio/SigGen_1v3.exe

  http://www.techmind.org/audio/#siggen

There are many, many more similar programs.

All you need is the frequency list, which you can also get from many
  sources.

Let me know if this helps.

  Thanks,

  Mike Monett

CSChemistry Tutorials

2012-05-10 Thread Mike Monett
Hey mike, you mentioned online chemistry tutorials. Could you
point me to any specific programs? Learning about CS has
   re-kindled my interests!

   Thanks for your help, P.

I post this since others may be interested.

There are zillions of excellent online chemistry tutorials. Far too
  many to list here.

The trick is to search google and click on something that looks
interesting. Save the url so you can go back later.

If the discussion seems a bit advanced and over your head, go on to
  the next one.

But keep the url in case you want to view it again. You will quickly
reach the point where the easy ones no longer have anything to teach
and you need something stronger to work with.

Don't get bogged down in the advanced stuff unless you are really
interested and plan on changing careers.

But if you are an electronics technician now, and you would like to
expand your career opportunities, there is very little you could do
better than to learn basic chemistry.

The biomedical fields are expanding like crazy, and it is difficult
to find anyone who understands electronics and know even a bit about
chemistry. You could have leprosy and ten thumbs on each hand, but
if you can understand a simple chemistry equation and know how to
keep from knocking over Bunsen burners, they will welcome you with
  open arms.

The things you want to focus on at the start are how to read an
equation, then how to balance them.

When you find yourself hitting a rough spot and nothing seems to
make sense, find another tutorial that discusses the same topic and
  try it.

Often just a slight change in the wording can suddenly unlock the
secret and it all becomes clear.

You will find yourself advancing very rapidly. The basic stuff is
just learning the symbols for the common elements, like Hydrogen,
Oxygen, Silver, Sulfur, and so on. Then learn the normal oxidation
states, such as +1 for Sodium, Silver, etc, +2 for Copper, etc, -1
for Chlorine, etc, then the weird ones like Oxygen, Sulfur, and the
others that can have several states. But just learn what you need to
know at the moment. The rest will come later.

The more you learn, the easier it is to learn more. This is a very
enjoyable positive feedback loop. You will quickly find yourself
working with stuff that was incomprehensible just a short time
  before.

So rather than give you a huge list of sites, just start anywhere
and go up or down in difficulty as you feel the need.

Again, don't get bogged down wasting time on incomprehensible topics
or sites that don't explain things clearly. Bypass them and find
another one that is better suited to your liking. Keep moving, and
  you will soon hit paydirt.

Here is a typical one to get you started:

There is nothing truthful in the claims that microwaves can cause harmful
changes to food. This is purely fear-mongering. It has no basis in fact.

The only thing the microwaves can do is cause the water molecules to rotate
and rub against each other. It is the same as rubbing your hands to warm
them in the winter.

Of course the heat will cause changes in the DNA. So does cooking on a
stove. This does not matter. The things you do to food to digest it are far
more severe than heating the water content in a microwave. The hydrochloric
acid and pepsin in your stomach will start the breakdown process that
removes the proteins and breaks them down so they can be digested and
utilized in the body.

Cooking in the microwave is much safer than pan frying or grilling over an
open flame. There are no heterocyclic amines or polycyclic aromatic
hydrocarbons that form. See

Of course, you knew that already, didn't you.

-Original Message-
From: Mike Monett [mailto:mrmon...@pstca.com]

You sure have collected a lot of different healing methods! I wonder how
many others there are you haven't mentioned yet:)

Oh, lots and lots. :) Been at this alternative stuff for over 25 years
now, ever since I had cancer. Just love to 'collect' information on
healing. Never sick here so don't have a lot to experiment with, but I
usually try things out when I can, just to see.

I think some of the BEST methods are the easiest and are free to do. My
favorite is The Emotion Code, then EFT, then DMT, then MIR. The Emotion
Code is remarkable and uses muscle testing to release trapped emotions. EFT
is a more complicated tapping procedure but once you learn it it's
invaluable. DMT is a simplified tapping procedure that works wonders for
physical problems. MIR is a new method I've just learned that I think will
be very powerful, and is super simple to do.

These emotional things SEEM to be 1) too simple to work 2) most people don't
understand the emotional part of illness

Because they are simple and free people often overlook them and don't
understand their power. And then most people do not understand the
underlying reason for illness, which is almost always buried in emotions.
Even if you cure the physical problem if you don't deal with the emotions
the problem simply comes back, usually in the same form but a different
area, but sometimes even in the same area. That's why it's so common for a
person to get cancer again--the doctor's famous '5 year' thing (if you make
it 5 years cancer free you could possibly stay cancer free) because most
people get it back in under 5 years. Just because you have it cut out,
burnt out, etc, but you have NOT addressed the emotional aspects, the
thought processes and looked for some spiritual answers, it just comes back.
Address those 3 and you are almost sure never to be bothered by cancer
again.

It is said--and I believe it, that everything starts on the spiritual level
and if corrected there we'd never get sick. But we are almost totally
unaware of the spirit level.

From there it goes to the mental level. Again, if we were aware and fixed
the mental issue we would never get sick.

Then it goes emotional level. If we stopped it there we'd never get sick.
But we simply don't understand our emotions, let alone deal with them. So
because we don't, then the body takes on physical symptoms of illness. We
can't ignore that like we can emotions, thoughts and spirit.

So though we may fix the physical symptoms, if we haven't dealt with the
emotions especially, but also the thoughts and spirit, then illness simply
comes back. And usually dealing with the emotions kind of also takes care
of the thoughts that go along since thoughts and emotions are very closely
linked. The spirit--well, any truly healthy person has a healthy spiritual
side. You cannot live in darkness and be healthy. But it does help to
address the spiritual side when ill, because that allows the physical 'cure'
to happen faster.

We are such wondrous beings!

Oh shoot--how can I forget the SEM water cards and the SSS cards? They are
also free and very powerful. :) and they work through the frequency
category!

Samala,
Renee

Renee, you should take some of this and have it printed in gold and framed,
and sell it on eBay. I believe this is one of the most truthful and
important posts on the SilverList.

What are SEM Water Cards and SSS cards? You have a lot you can teach us.

Jane

A microwave oven uses a magnetron to convert the energy into microwaves.
There is a brief explanation in Wikipedia:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cavity_magnetron

The magnetron requires very strong magnets to force the electrons to flow
in circles past the cavities. You can barely see the magnets in the photo
below. The bottom magnet is the black ring below the bottom cooling fin.
The top magnet is almost completely hidden near the top of the housing.

http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/a/a0/Magnetron1.jpg;

I take old magnetrons apart and retrieve the magnets. They are very useful
for picking up steel objects you may have dropped on the floor and can't
find.

They throw a strong field quite a distance outside the microwave oven. If
you have a sensitive gauss meter, you will easily detect the field. It is
usually on the right side of the oven about the middle. There will be very
little field on the same location on the left side of the oven because it
is further away from the magnetron. You can make the same measurements with
an ordinary compass.

The magnetic field is harmless. It is static, like the Earth's field. It
may actually be weaker outside the oven than the fridge magnets you use to
save notes on the fridge door.

The field from the magnetron is permanent. It does not shut off when you
unplug the oven.

I don't know what you are referring to when you talk about light globes. I
can't think of what might be in them to register on your Gauss meter, but
if you gave a link to one, I might be able to find out.

A Gauss meter measures DC static fields. These cannot harm you. You are
immersed in a constant field from the Earth. The mesurements you get from
the Gauss meter are not giving you any useful information about any
dangerous conditions.

2012-05-09 Thread Mike Monett
Mike Monett mrmon...@pstca.com wrote:

Yes, this is called iontophoresis. For example, copper is an excellent
antibiotic. Hwever, it corrodes easily and can pick up all kinds of
unwanted contamination. This would be injected into the flesh along with
the copper ions.

The velocity of the copper ions is very low since the applied
electromagnetic field is so small. The ions would have to migrate through
the small space between the cells and won't get very far. So the volume of
flesh involved is very low, and mainly just the area in the immediate
vicinity of the positive electrode.

The negative electrode releases hydrogen gas and hydroxide ions, the same
as in regular silver electrolysis and the electrolysis of water.

The current for iontophoresis is very low, perhaps in the hundreds of
microamperes. The amount of copper released into the skin is very small.

You can do a Faraday calculation to see how much is delivered.

For example, a current of 250uA for 45 minutes would deliver about 22ppm to
a volume of 1 cubic centimeter.

This might be of some use for infections that are close to the surface,
such as abcesses and tooth problems, etc. However, using a high-ionic cs
sublingually will work much better for dental problems and also work with
the immune system to kill pathogens throughout the body.

Thanks,

Mike Monett

The copper ions would have one significant advantage over silver in
iontophoresis.

Silver ions combine with the chlorine from the sodium and potassium salts
in the blood plasma and form silver chloride, AgCl. The equation is

Ag+ + OH- + Na+ + Cl- -- AgCl + Na+ + OH-

AgCl is mostly insoluble and precipitates out as a white solid. Here is an
example of a Salt Test after sublingual absorption compared to the same cs
raw. Note the sublingual dispersion is a bit darker, but both dispersions
completely block the black card behind the shot glass:

http://silvercentral.org/zimag/3f0c5ab2.jpg

This shows very little silver is absorbed into the bloodstream, only 25
parts per billion in a typical male. This is far too low to have any effect
on pathogens, certainly viruses, but it is all that is needed for the
immune system to do its job.

Silver chloride is much less effective as an antibiotic than plain Ag+. I
have heard numbers of 300 times less effective up to 10,000 times poorer.

Copper doesn't have this problem, and is apparently second only to silver
as an antibiotic.

The reason copper avoids the problem is the huge solubility of copper(II)
chloride. It is 75.7 g/100 mL at 25C. I expect the equation would be

Cu++ + 2OH- + 2Na+ + 2Cl- -- CuCl2 + 2NaOH

or something like that. But the CuCl2 would remain in solution at only 25
ppm, so the result would be Cu-- + 2Cl-, and the copper would be free to
attack pathogens.

The only problem is getting pure samples of copper and keeping them clean.

So for a localized infection, copper might be worth trying. For other
infections, or anything to do with viruses, sublingual silver might be more
effective.

Thanks,

Mike Monett

how will this machine work? Most black boxes will accept spit or blood.

And--if the machine does all that it says it does, why would anyone need to

Whew--that digital explanation sounds like a bunch of nonsense. A digital

his device. The idea that his device is the only one that makes a loop just
sounds phony. The way they make it sound would be like you'd have to do the
photo taking to have that in the device, because otherwise, if someone
across the country took their own photo and sent you the digital image then
you stored that digital image into their device--how would it still 'track'
the person, since it wasn't taken with the device itself? They are saying
their device will take any digital image and then track it--but how is that
possible if it's a still digital image taken days, weeks, months ago?

So basically what they have is something that you input a digital image
into, then it 'transfers' that image to that flat green (probably metal)
sheet that fits into the photo well on the machine. Then supposedly it will
track the person. Maybe because it's on the plate which fits?

If that's the case then buying one of those little keychain things that hold
x number of digital photos should work too, because they'd fit in the slot
and would contain the digital image.

Because the Awhatever machine did the tracking for the Polaroid, which means
if a digital is input into the slot/well, then it should be able to track it
too. And a cheap way of fitting an actual digital image into that slot, and
not a printed out copy of the digital image (which probably wouldn't work as
it wouldn't have the digital signal) then a small digital image holder
should do the same thing as it will have the image actually showing while a
flash drive simply contains the image but doesn't show it. I think all they
are doing is showing the image inside the slot so the machine can 'see' it
like it 'saw' the Polaroid.

At least that's my theory. :)

Samala,
Renee

I have no idea how it would work either, but it sounds pricey. Anyway, I
got the shipping info from James and transferred the funds to my Paypal
account, so I'm ready to go ahead with the order as soon as he replies.

This would be so nice if it works and gets rid of these headaches. I sure
would like to be able to sleep longer than 3 or 4 hours, and not wake up
clogged full of spores with a splitting headache and all the other crap
from the toxins.

Thanks, Renee,

Godzilla is DC, so that's plain copper iontophoreses which is perfectly
legitimate. The only problem is the local volume it can treat and the
difficulty of getting pure copper and keeping it clean. I hope you are not
using sponges - they will simply inject whatever crud they contain into the
flesh. Better to rest the copper against the jaw and hold it there with a
moistened cotton swab like the ones dentists use to put in an extracted
tooth to get the bleeding. Although as soon as got home, I would pull it
out and soak another one in cs. It killed the pain and stopped the bleeding.

I think you will find the SilverCell to work a bit better than
iontophoreses since it floods the entire mouth with cs, so it gets the
cavities and the gums all in one go. Another week or so and I should have
the new silver.

Did you build the FREX or get it from someone? I looked at the site earlier:

What kinds of things does it do?

It sounds very much like the FScan2, which I plan on building for the ABPA

CSRemoving Silver Tarnish

2012-05-09 Thread Mike Monett
  To All,

There has been a lively discussion on preventing silver tarnish
lately, and a lot of good suggestions were posted, such as enclosing
  articles in plastic bags.

Unfortunately, sulfur is a very penetrating atom and can pass
through a thin polyethylene film quite easily. So ultimately the
  silver will get tarnished.

Silver polish can remove the tarnish, but it will also remove some
silver. Eventually the details will be lost and the article will be
  ruined.

There is another way to remove the tarnish without damaging the
silver. A simple electrolysis can transfer the sulfur from the
silver to another metal, such as aluminum, and leave the silver
  untouched.

The usual method is to place the article in a pan lined with
aluminum foil. Add some baking soda and hot water and watch in
amazement as the silver starts to shine. You can easily clean large
objects this way. Here's an example:

  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=G5Qnbn366G0feature=related

Another example uses the same method to clean silver tableware. You
can see how quickly the sulfur is removed:

  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CsKLcc13WBo

For those who might be interested, the chemistry is easy.

First, hydrogen sulfide plus a bit of water combines with the silver
  and forms silver sulfide:

  2Ag(s) + H2S(g) = Ag2S(s) + H2(g)

Now comes the magic part. When you place dissimilar metals in
contact in an electrolyte, a small voltage is developed between
  them.

You can see which metal takes a positive voltage by looking at the
Galvanic Series. You will find aluminum is near the top of the
graph, so it takes a positive voltage. Silver is near the bottom, so
it becomes negative with respect to the aluminum:

  http://l-36.com/corrosion.php

The baking soda becomes the electrolyte when it is added to water.

It does not take part in the chemistry, but merely allows the ions
  to flow in the solution.

The reaction at the silver cathode is

  3Ag2S + 6e- -- 6Ag + 3S(2-)

This says 3 molecules of silver sulfide accept 6 negative electrons
from the aluminum. This restores the silver back to its original
state and leaves 3 negative sulfur ions in the solution.

The reaction at the aluminum anode is

  2Al - 6e- -- 2Al(3+)

This says 2 aluminum atoms release 6 electrons to the silver and
  become 2 positive aluminum ions.

Now we have a match made in heaven. The aluminum and sulfur ions
could combine and form aluminum sulfide:

  2Al(3+) + 3S(2-) -- Al2S3

However, this will quickly decomposes back to the ionic state in
water, so the aluminum foil doesn't show any change in color. You
simply toss the ions down the drain when you flush the solution
  away.

And now you have nice shiny silver without the elbow grease and
  without damaging the silver.

I am working on a similar method to remove sulfur from the
electrodes in a cs generator, but may be running into problems with
residual or secondary contamination. I won't know which until a new
shipment of silver arrives, hopefully soon.

  Thanks,

  Mike Monett

Jane

Thanks, Jane. That was thoughtful of you.

Chemistry is so easy - at least the stuff we deal with. It is impossible to
understand something unless you can view the equations and see how it
works.

I wish more people took an interest in doing this. You don't need a
graduate level course - just learn how to balance equations. There are many
good tutorials on the web. And the more you learn, the easier it becomes to
learn more. So you have a nice feedback loop going. And there is so much
satisfaction in being able to look at an equation and being able to read
it, and understand what is going on.

The reason it is so good to learn how to balance equations, is you have to
go through all the things in your mind as you are reading an equation.
Having to do all the individual steps forces your mind to pay attention to
each one.

When you are done, your mind says Voila! That's how it works!

And now you have learned something new!

And each one you do makes it easier to do the next one, so you quickly
build up a large understanding of how things work. This makes it easy to
learn more.

I find if an author cannot write a balanced equation to describe what he is
talking about, he usually gets it wrong. Without correct equations, it is
so easy to make mistakes it's not even funny. But the equations force you
to stay on the straight and narrow, and you are more likely to get it right.

Greetings.

As a beginner i have yet some newbie doubts... After some reading one can
find opposite directions about the inversion or not of the electrical
polarity applied on the silver rods.
Sometimes the suggestion is to keep the positive and the negative always in
the same rods. Other times the indication is to switch polarities each new
batch of CS production.

What is the indication in this list ?

Thanks.
Thomas TS.

Hi Thomas,

Welcome to the list!

If you are running the fairly high current densities that are used in
conventional cs generators, you can swap the polarity for each new batch.
This will equalize the wear on the electrodes and give the longest life.

If you are running at lower current that does not produce silver hydroxide,
and you have u-shaped electrodes at least 3/4 inch across the bottom, you
can wait until tiny whiskers grow on the cathode electrode and reach a
length of about 1/8 inch.

Then swap the polarity and continue brewing until the whiskers disappear
from the first electrode and start to appear on the opposite electrode.
When they again reach about 1/8 inch, terminate the brew and pour the cs
into your storage jar. I prefer the PETE bottles used in the Dasani and
Aquifina deionized/demineralized water. These have the least amount of
leaching from the plastic.

Following this procedure will give a much higher silver ion concentration
since the process does not make silver hydroxide, which forces you to
terminate the brew early. You can continue brewing for a much longer time
and gain the benefit of a much more potent brew. For example, the
SilverCell process will easily reach 35uS to 37uS, and may decrease to 31uS
to 32uS after the brew has been placed in storage. A conventional brew will
be very hard to reach 18uS or higher, and most likely will be around 10uS
to 12uS.

I just posted some pictures of the whiskers so you can see what they look
like. They are in a post on my forum where I discuss these issues with a
Russian member who is also making his first generator. The pictures appear

Very good observation. I think trust and lack of education in basic
principles has a lot to do with it. If you want to believe something, and
don't know how it works, it makes a lot easier to trust. Madoff used that
principle and it cost a lot of people a lot of money.

Health is a similar issue. If you are sick, you want to get well. If
someone offers something that might cure the problem, you tend to want to
believe them. Bob Beck used that to promote the Zapper. He claimed it would
kill all pathogens and parasites, including HIV and other nasties. But he
forgot to tell people that electrons cannot flow in water, and therefore
cannot reach pathogens to kill them. As a physicist, he certainly knew this
fact, but he failed to disclose it the entire time he was pitching his
Zappers.

He also used stainless steel electrodes. This can release hexavalent
chromium in electrolysis. I posted information on this earlier.

But people still believe Zapping works. There are several Yahoo groups
still trying to find evidence that it does anything at all.

Then, of course, there are the financial aspects. If someone has an
interest in selling you something, the sale pitch can promise anything. If
you want to believe it, you will tend to accept anything.

The problem is if someone has a serious illness and gets hooked on some of
these ideas, they could die. Hulda Clark promised she could cure cancer.
She died from it, and a lot of other people did also.

Cancer, MRSA, HIV, SARS, and other threats are real. Some can be treated
successfuly, others cannot. So if you are one of the unlucky ones, you will
tend to grasp at straws and believe anything that promises a cure.

But I'd do a lot of research and look for the hidden flaws that they are
trying to keep from you.

Very good observation. Thanks for posting.

Olushola

In metals, current flow is in the form of electrons. They are negatively
charged and move from the negative electrode to the positive electrode.

In electrolytes, current flow is in theform of ions. Positively charged
ions are usually metals, such as silver, calcium, sodium, potassium, zinc,
copper, and so on. They flow from the positive terminal to the negative,
and are called cations.

They are balanced by an equal flow of negatively-charged ions that flow
towards the anode. The are called anions. Examples are hydroxide, sulfur,
etc.

All life processes depend on the control of ions to perform various tasks
and to build structures like bone, trees, etc.

If electrons could flow in water, all life processes would immediately
cease, since electron flow would bypass these processes.

Regards,

Mark

Hi Lena,

I am glad you are getting well. I suspect you are correct that
suggestion can play a significant role in healing. I think you see
references to this in many other areas of healing.

I was interested in your FScan 2, and found that anyone with a bit
of knowledge can duplicate it for less than $50.00, or about 1/100
of the normal list price. Although I have seen sales for $3,995, so
that's only 80 times less.

There are many ways to do it. I'd use a simple AD9833 DDS chip. Here
are the specs:

0 MHz to 12.5 MHz Output Frequency Range
Sinusoidal/Triangular/Square Wave Output
0.1 Hz Resolution
10-Lead Mini Small Outline Package (MSOP)

Here's the Datasheet

http://datasheet.octopart.com/AD9833BRMZ-Analog-Devices-datasheet-36115.pdf;

It is available for $5.98 at Verical
http://octopart.com/parts/search?q=AD9833

A couple of high speed op amps would complete the electronics, and
titanium electrodes would work just as well as gold-plated and be a
lot cheaper. Say $1.30 for the pair.

A simple arduino controller would provide the interface:

http://www.arduino.cc/

The pc would select the desired modes and frequencies, so the
software would be extremely easy. The frequency scan would be much,
much faster than the FScan 2.

The complete set of F-Scan Frequencies are available at many sites.

Here are a few:

http://www.electroherbalism.com/Bioelectronics/FrequenciesandAnecdotes/F-Scan_Frequency_Files.zip;

http://www.electroherbalism.com/Bioelectronics/FrequenciesandAnecdotes/CAFL_FSCAN_2_Frequencies.htm;

http://electroherbalism.com/Bioelectronics/FrequenciesandAnecdotes/CrossReference.htm;

I am very interested in your 10-day herx. True Herxheimer only lasts
for a few hours in Syphilis, which is a spirochete bacterium, and is
pretty nasty:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Herxheimer_reaction

I wonder what could be causing such a lengthy reaction. It would
imply you had such a huge bacteria load it should have killed you
long before. And if it was bacteria die-off, why didn't it happen
all at once?

I am inclined to build one some weekend and subject myself to a
treament and see if I can duplicate your herx. I'm sure I must have
a lot of bugs and things floating around. It would be interesting to
see what the scan brought up and what happened if they were killed.

One more question. If these devices worked as you say, why aren't
they used in every hospital and clinic everywhere? Alternative
health clinics are not prohibited from using just about anything
they want. It would seem these machines would be the ideal tool for
any infection.

I'll look into this some more. This is so easy to duplicate it
wouldn't cost much to try. And I'd like to get some answers to my
questions.

Thanks,

Mike Monett

If you are seeing a significnt conductivity drop after the brew is
finished, you have a contamination problem, most likely silver sulfide, or
severe leaching from your soda-lime glass. This can easily give 60% drop in
conductivity. If you remove the contamination, the conductivity drop should
be around 8% or less.

The conductivity of a solution is defined as the reciprocal of the
resistance of a 1cm cube. The conductivity is directly proportional to the
number of charge carriers in the solution. This is a linear function over
the entire range of conductivities we use.

For example, the Hanna HI 7033 Calibration Solution is 84uS/cm at 25C. This
is a single point calibration, meaning all other measurements fit on a
straight line down to zero and are a linear function of the conductivity.

For silver and hydroxide ions, the relationship between conductivity and
ppm is 1uS = 1 ppm, providing you have no contamination.

I did a study long ago that shows this. Note the measurements cover the
range of 3.3uS to 26uS. Here is the url:

http://silvercentral.org/measure/1us2ppm.htm

There is no reason to expect any deviation above this value, for example in
the SilverCell process that can easily reach 44uS.

If your measurements indicate the results above 30uS are a wild guess,
then there is something seriously wrong with your measurements, or you have
significant contamination problems, or both.

Since you seem to be insensitive to contamination problems, I would guess
both.

This is a new colloidal silver process I am working on. It

not produce silver hydroxide which forces you to terminate the brew.

Since it is not limited by the production of silver hydroxide, you
can swap the polarity to the electrodes and continue brewing. This

conventional generators. I verify the ion concentration using the

  87uS down to 30uS is a 65% drop.

That is the worst case of contamination I have seen so far. I have

I will use your post as a reference from now on to show how bad it

The big question is where is it coming from. If it were sulfide, the
cs would be deep amber. So it has to be something else. One guess
might be interactions from the hematite stirrer. This material has
many crevices that can contain anything.

I don't know what else could be causing the contamination, but one

   Sol and everyone,

My new website has an article I wrote that appeared in the
Townsend Letter; was reprinted in Nexus in English, Nexus in
German, and in Korean; and eventually made its way in a slightly
different form into my Rife Handbook as Appendix C. It's called
Healing with Electromedicine and Sound Therapies and can be
downloaded free as a pdf file here:

   http://www.nenahsylver.com/free-electromedicine-article.html

I mention this because it discusses laser and LED therapy, and
once you read this you'll understand the principles about using
LEDs on closed eyelids (and lasers not at all on the eyes).

   Nenah

   Nenah Sylver, PhD

  Nenah,

I am an engineer with over 50 years of experience in electromagnetic
  fields.

I did not finish reading your paper. I stopped at your discussion of
Rife technology. Here are some problems you do not address:

  1. A bacteria is immersed in a plasma that has a certain dielectric
  constant.

The bacteria encloses a plasma that has a similar dielectric
  constant.

An incoming electric field cannot distinguish the boundary between
the two. There will be negligible force against the wall of the
  bacteria.

This means you cannot shake the bacteria with an applied electric
  field.

  2. There is no resonant frequency that will affect bacteria.

Bacteria are not solid brittle things like glass. They cannot be
shaken at some resonant frequency and fall apart or break. This is
called damping, and it is a very important engineering principle. It
is what makes your shock absorbers function. If you have ever tried
to drive a car that has no shock absorbers, you will quickly end up
in the ditch. Bacteria are very well damped.

  3. High frequencies travel on the outside of a body. This is called
skin effect. The energy falls off quickly as you try to penetrate
  the flesh.

This is why it is so difficult to contact nuclear submarines.

We have a similar salt content to the ocean. Not exact, but close.

  4. The harmonics of a signal fall off very quickly with harmonic
  number.

There is negligible energy at the frequencies that might affect
  bacteria.

The combination of skin effect and harmonic loss assures that no
bacteria will ever be harmed by applying a signal external to a
  body.

  5. If there were any effect from an applied field, it would also
  affect mammal cells.

This is an important issue if you are trying to kill cancer cells.

If you could get the penetration needed to affect pathogens or
cancer cells, you would also kill the cells you are trying to
protect. There is no way to avoid this.

Rife technology does not require the AMA or other institutions to
kill it. It only works for gullible individuals who may have more
  money than common sense.

I am cetain your LED dissertation contains similar oversights.

  Thanks,

  Mike Monett

Re: CSTesting PPM of ionic silver

2012-05-06 Thread Mike Monett
I missed Melly's post so I will reply through here.

TDS meters can have different calibration depensing on the application. One
is a factor of 2 different from conductivity measured with a pwt. The other
calibration is a different number.

You often cannot tell which number was used to calibrate the TDS. So you
cannot simply double the reading.

If you have a pwt also, simply measure the cs with both meters and take the
ratio. This will tell you what the calibration factor is.

You most likely have some silver sulfide tarnish on the electrodes from
automobile combustion and other sources. This releases sulfur ions into the
solution during the brew and can significantly disrupt the brew. The sulfur
contamination cannot be detected with a pwt.

By far the best way to detemine the quality of your cs is with the Salt
Test. It is immune to the contamination and will give you a direct
indication of the silver ion content. Please see the following link for
more information.

My post has not filtered through the system so it may have got lost. But I
would like to add this is a good reason why taking a weak cs is a bad idea.
All you ar doing is killing off the weak pathogens. The strong ones will
grow and now you have nothing that will affect them.

The same problem exists with antibiotics. The doctor will tell you to take
the entire prescription even if you start feeling well. It is the same
reason. The weak ones die first. The strong ones take longer to kill. If
you stop partway through, you let the strong ones survive, and now the
doctor may have nothing to fight the infection with.

The same problem exists with feeding antibiotics to farm animals. The FDA
is apparently looking into regulating this, but it is already far too late.
The antibiotic-resistant bacteria are already out in the field.

For this reason, it is important to have the strongest cs you can make. The
SilverCell process will produce a silver ion content in excess of 30uS,
even if you don't get the procedure optimized. The key is to use a very low
cell current. This prevents or eliminates the production of silver
hydroxide.

Normally, you must stop the brew when this occurs. This limits the silver
ion concentration you can achieve.

But since the SilverCell process produces no AgOH, or a minimal amount, you
can simply swap the polarity and continue brewing. This allows you to
easily reach 35uS or 37uS. There will be a small reduction after you put
the cs in the storage container. This will bring the reading down to 31uS
or so.

If the reading drops a lot more, you have contamination on the electrodes.
It is usually sulfur tarnish from automobile combustion. It can be very
difficult to remove, but I am having good success desulfurizing with a
titanium anode.

However, I am running into a secondary contamination problem that I am not
sure where it is coming from. So until I can determine the source, and am
certain it is not from the titanium, I would not recommend using it yet.

ingesting their home made product *immediately* after cessation of
production, definitely consume it within 12 hours cos for every
hour it stands, ions will be lost.

   2. I usually take my 15-18uS *immediately* upon cessation of the
brewing process {if/when I choose to} and simply swallow it. As

   N.

  Neville,

  1. You will never reach or exceed 30uS with conventional techniques
that use high current density above 500uA per square inch, wire less
than 12 ga or flat sheet electrodes, and straight rods or tight
loops on the U-channel less than 1/2 wide, or stirring and polarity
  reversal techniques.

These will restrict you to much less than 20uS, and most likely you
will remain around 10uS to 12uS. This is not strong enough to kill
the most difficult pathogens such as Herpes Simplex, Herpes Zoster
(2nd attack), and obviously has little or no effect on H. Pylori,
since that is what the lady was using when she got her ulcer. You
need the strongest cs you can make, and you cannot make it using
  conventional methods.

  2. You can store cs indefinitely. There should be less than 10% loss
in conductivity when you place the cs in storage.

If you are losing more than this after you place the cs in storage,
you have serious contamination problems, usually due to silver
sulfide, Ag2S. This will disrupt the brewing process and give false
measurements on your pwt meter. You can use the Salt Test to verify
the ion concentration, since it is immune to contamination.

Tarnish on silver is unavoidable due to numerous sources of sulfur,
such as automobile combustion, rubber material such as tires stored
in the garage or basement, lead acid car batteries, fingerprints on
the electrodes, and other sources too numerous to name. It was a big
problem back in the middle ages when cars and rubber did not exist,
and it has just gotten worse since then.

It is extremely difficult to remove Ag2S from the electrodes. I am
trying different methods, such as desulfurization using aluminum or
titanium anodes. I appear to still have residual or secondary
contamination, so I do not recommend trying these techniques yet.

You could also have contamination leaching from your cs generator or
storage container. One of the reasons for using a borosilicate
beaker is it has very little leaching. Plain soda-lime can have
significant leaching problems that can disrupt the brewing process
and give false readings on a pwt. I store my cs in a clean Dasani or
Aquafina bottle. These are made of PETE which one of the lowest
  leaching plastics you can find.

  3. There is no need to swallow an entire brew. If you have a high
ion concentration, say 30uS, you can use sublingual absorption and
spit it out after 12 minutes. This will give less than 27 parts per
billion absorption into the blood stream for a typical male, which
is all that is needed for the immune system to do its job. It will
also mean your cs will last longer, so you don't have to do a brew
as often. This will save you time.

A tremendous benefit of this technique is the cs will kill the
dental bacteria that cause gum disease and tooth decay. It will
penetrate the tartar and cause it to fall off. When it does, you can
feel the hollow that the bacteria was making in your tooth.

Using cs this way will reduce the number of visits to the dentist. I
don't know how much a vist costs in your area, but I used to spend
$270 to $300 each time. I no longer have this expense.

That will pay for a lot of silver.

  Thanks,

I forgot to mention. You cannot measure the conductance during or
immediately after the brew. The ions are not uniformly distributed, and
this will give you a false reading.

You have to pour the cs into your PETE storage container, then pour a small
amount into a cup, and measure that. The pouring will mix the ions so they
are more uniform, just like stirring the sugar and milk in your coffee.

His research was refined by a Californian pathologist, Raymond Royal Rife

Hi Mike, Regarding Zappers, it sounds like you are talking about
the devices that Hulda Clark popularized over the past 20 years or
so (I first read her books in 1994 or so). Is that the case? I use
a zapper occasionally if I get a bad cold or upper respiratory
infection. But I have never heard of what you mentioned about the
copper hand holds depositing copper ions into the skin (I covered
them with 2 layers of paper towel), or other materials, depositing
who knows what into the skin. Do you have a recommendation on a
material that is safe to use with a Zapper? I have found the
zapper to be extremely useful at times of viral or bacterial
infection - it doesn't seem to cure the problem outright, but it
definitely seems to have a positive effect (in my case, pain or
congestion in the sinuses or throat is usually alleviated for a
few hours after a zapping session). -Ken

  Ken,

Zappers were proposed by Bob Beck and Hulda Clark. Beck claimed to
be a physicist, and would have known that electrons cannot flow in
an electrolyte. However, he claimed his Zapper could do just that
and that it would cure all diseases.

Here is a 1998 talk where Beck claims his Zapper will kill ALL
pathogens and parasites, including HIV. He claims the blood
circulates in the body in 9 or 10 seconds (5:00). This is false. It
  takes a minute or so.

Note also that he uses stainless steel electrodes. Please see below
  for more information.

  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yC7M_rhg2yU

Clearly the device does not do what he claims. If it did, HIV would
not exist, and we would not need antibiotics. Every hospital and
clinic would be using them instead. That is obviously not true.

Hulda Clark has a slightly different version and made much the same
claims. However, she also claimed to have the ability to cure
cancer. However, Hulda Clark died of cancer in 2009.

  From Wikipedia:

Clark's claims and devices have been dismissed by authorities
ranging from the US Federal Trade Commission and Food and Drug
Administration to alternative medicine figures such as Andrew Weil
  asscientifically unfounded, bizarre,[3] and potentially
fraudulent.[2] Clark died 3 September 2009 of multiple myeloma (a
  blood and bone cancer).[4][5][6]

  http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hulda_Regehr_Clark

Hulda's Zapper supposedly worked by shaking or vibrating a germ
until it falls apart, like the famous Memorex commercial that
  shatters a wine glass.

However, bacteria are not brittle like crystal, and there is no way
any energy from a Zapper could reach them. The first problem is skin
effect that causes high frequencies to travel on the outside of a
body and not penetrate very deeply. The second problem is the energy
in the harmonics falls off extremely rapidly, and there is
negligible energy at the frequencies that might resonate with a
  bacterial cell.

Again, if her device worked as she claims, we would no longer have
any illness, and all the pharmaceutical companies would have gone
out of business long ago. These devices would be used in every home
and clinic, and about the only thing we would need doctors for would
  be the occasional broken bone.

  None of this has happened.

Your sinus irritation might be caused by low humidity which dries
the sinuses. It could also be caused by irritation from the toxins
in mold spores, possibly from your pillow. It could be caused by
mold spores coming from padded furniture or an infestation buried in
walls or some hidden place in the basement.

In these cases, the Zapper has no effect and the soreness is simply
going away by itself as you move about or open the windows for
  ventilation.

The copper ions released by the iontophoreses travel very slowly,
especially with the low voltage present.

It is very unlikely that a Zapper is able to do anything to help
bacterial infections that are located more than a few centimeters
beneath the surface. It is extremely unlikely that Zapping will have
  any effect on viral infections.

However, copper is easily corroded and it is very difficult to find
pure copper that has not been contaminated by oxidation or other
sources. The copper in wire is very pure, but the insulation
material releases contamination that quickly embeds into the
surface. Also, the manufacturing process does nothing to remove the
lubrication needed to draw the wire through the dies, so they remain
on the surface where they will migrate inwards over a period of
  time.

I just went through a lengthy exercise to try to scrap and sand the
contamination from the surface of 12 ga copper wire. Even though I
removed a substantial amount of material from the surface, the

From Wikipedia:

Rife's claims could not be independently replicated, [5] and were
ultimately discredited by the medical profession in the 1950s.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Royal_Rife

Many of the claims attributed to Tesla never happened.

None of Beck's claims that he made in the YouTube video have materialized.

There is nothing you can do to change the fact electrons cannot flow in an
electrolyte.

A blood analysis doesn't mean much. It is a complex procedure that is
easily derailed by poor technique or measurements.

The fundamental proof is does it work? The answer is no. Most of the
effects attributed to zappers can easily be explained by other factors.

I am an expert in instrumentation design and analysis. My credentials are
as follows:

1. I am a retired electronics engineer with over 50 years of experience in
instrumentation and control systems. These are among the most difficult
fields in electronics.

2. I had my own company from 1976 until I retired recently.

3. I have been awarded 6 US patents involving hard disk drives. My patent
list is here:

http://pstca.com/patents.htm

The statements I made are obviously true and can be observed by anyone.
These devices are not used in clinics or any place where their performance
can be monitored and verified.

There is no need to belittle contamination on the electrodes. It is a very
real and significant problem. Ignoring it could cause you serious harm. I
once got some kind of contamination on my silver electrodes when I laid
them on my workbench and they must have touched a spot of oil or grease. I
was so sick after taking cs made with these electrodes that it took three
days in bed to recover. I now keep a second glass to hold the assembly
while I am filling the cs generator with dw or emptying the cs, and I do
not allow the electrodes to touch anything. Do not underestimate the danger
of contamination. It can really harm you.

There is no need to resort to dubious and overhyped gadgets when they have
no effect on the most basic pathogen, viruses.

There is no need to mess with a non-functional technology when a high
quality ionic cs will vastly outperform any of the claims made by biased
and undereducated individuals.

Beware of individuals claiming false expertise.

First off, zappers were firsted tested by individuals such as Royal Rife

attempt at a refinement, by individuals such as Bob Beck and Hulda Clark.

Second, my experience is that the hulda clark type zapper is only marginally
effective. However, for many individuals, marginally is enough to give
the immune system enough support to recover.

One of the problems with Hulda Clark type zappers is the actual waveform.
Just like Royal Rife was working with very ineffective technology, most of
the Hulda Clark zappers don't produce a true square wave form, which
inhibits any potential effectiveness. A device such as the Godzilla is
far more effective to treat localized conditions.

When using one of the more technically correct and properly engineered
zappers, the effectiveness is increased. However, as the saying goes, the
pathogen is nothing and the bioterrain is everything. For severe chronic
systemic infections, the best one can hope for using anti-pathogenic devices
and substances is to help keep the bloodstream clean and support the immune
system, and thus improve the body's own ability to address infections.

As far as electrodes, use an extremely clean cloth moistened with a high
grade sea salt solution. Being concerned about the adsorption of metals
through such a cloth into the body is like worrying about a neighbor's
candle when your house is burning down. I would be far more concerned about
toxicity from the average air sample in metropolitan areas.

BTW: One of the simpler ways to test the effectiveness of zappers is by
contrasting before and after live blood analysis studies.

.
If you continue, then all the electrons supplied to the cell merely
go to silver plateout and the formation of silver hydroxide. The
silver ion concentration does not increase, and the cs will turn
  yellow quicker.

The SilverCell process has the distinctive advantage is the brew can
continue past the point where other cs generators must be shut down.

This allows you to reach much higher silver ion concentrations, up
to abut 51uS. But since the threshold concentration is only 20us to
combat the most virulent Herpes Simplex and Herpes Zoster viruses,
there is not need to push it that high. It takes a long time and
  wastes a lot of silver.

The reasonable target is 35uS to 37uS, which can easily be met by
simply monitoring the length of the silver whiskers at the cathode.

when they reach about 1/8, swap the polarity and wait for them to
appear at the other electrode. When they are about 1/8 long,
terminate the brew. That will put you at about 35uS to 37uS without
the need for expensive pwt's or dmms to monitor the process.

You can verify the result with the salt test, which is another very
inexpensive method. It has the advantage that it is not affected by
contamination, such as silver sulfide which collects on the silver
electrodes and can severly disrupt the brew process. I find that a
simple desulfurization using titanium foil will remove the sulfer
contamination and restore the proper operation of the electrolysis
  process.

I describe the Salt Test in more detail here:

  http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/silvercentral/message/560?l=1

I will post more information on desulfurization using aluminum and
  titanium anodes later.

When you ingest colloidal silver that has some portion as silver
hydroxide particles, the hydrochloric acid in the stomach combines
with the silver hydroxide and forms silver chloride and water. The
  equation is:

  HCl + AgOH -- AgCl + H2O

The silver ions that are in the solution also combine with the
  hydrochloric acid. The equation is:

  Ag + + OH- + HCl -- AgCl + H2O

Please note the two equations are identical. So it doesn't matter
what proportion of silver ions and silver hydroxide you have in your
cs, it all ends up exactly the same.

That should complete the discussions on colloidal silver particles.

If you have any questions, please let me know.

  Thanks,

  Mike Monett

   Re: CSSource of Silver Strips

You might want to look at the ingredients, this one is at
   http://www.jamesbriggs.co.uk/sds/bclnc5.pdf

That one contains acetone, which in and of itself is a very good
degreaser, which is also water soluble, making it ideal. That
one also contains propanol alcohol, and light naptha, which is
lighter fluid. All of these should evaporate completely if pure.

   Marshall

I try to avoid the SilverList because of the unbelievably inaccurate
and incompetent statements made by some members.

But this thread is getting dangerous. Brake cleaner should be
avoided at all times. It has no application in cs.

If you ask for a brake cleaner at an automotive store, you will get
whatever they have on hand. It can kill you.

The only thing you should apply to the silver is 99% Isopropyl
Alcohol, and that is to clean the residual lubricant from the
drawing operation, and any oil and enzymes from fingerprints. Always
handle the electrodes using plastic disposable gloves that you can
get for free by asking at any submarine shop or other food
preparation place, or for $1.00 for a package of 100 on eBay.

The reason for not touching the electrodes is your fingerprints
contain salts and enzymes that can inactivate the silver where you
touch. This creates dead spots that prevent the silver from
releasing silver ions, which limits the ability of the anode to
  support the electrolysis process.

This means the anode has a higher current density, and will reach
the Nernst Threshold sooner, when it starts to produce silver
hydroxide in the thin diffusion layer next to the surface of the
  electrode.

Once the system starts producing AgOH, there is no choice but to
terminate the brew. If you continue, you are not increasing the
silver ion content since all the electrons now go to producing
silver hydroxide. This turns the solution yellow, and ultimately
creates black mud in the 3 nines process.

This is a major problem with flat sheet electrodes. The edges and
corners create a region of high current density, so they reach the
Nernst Threshold much sooner. This means you will be unable to
produce a usable silver ion concentration, and you may not be able
to take advantage of the benefits of a high ionic silver solution.

To make this clear, you need at least 20uS silver ion concentration
to deal with the most virulent pathogens that are circulating.

If you try to use a weaker solution, you are creating the same
problem that your doctor warns against when he prescribes a strong
antibiotic. He will tell you to use the entire amount in the
prescription, and do not stop when the symptoms disappear.

The reason for this is if you stop partway through, you leave a
population of pathogens that are not killed by the antibiotic. These
multiply, and now you have an infection that the doctor cannot cure.

This happened to me while I was using a weak cs, and is the reason I
recommend making the strongest cs you can to ensure you completely
obliterate any pathogens that happen to come your way.

This is why I developed the SilverCell process. It is the simplest,
least expensive, and it makes the most powerful colloidal silver
  available anywhere.

The information for this process is free. Anyone can make it, and
benefit from the development that has taken me over a decade.

I will soon have solved the incredible mold headaches that have
plagued me for over a decade, and will be able to document the
assembly and operation instructions for the SilverCell process. But
in the meantime, I want to warn everyone against the use of Brake
  Cleaner in your home.

  Most contain tetrachloroethylene.

The unfortunate part is if you use it while smoking, the
tetrachloroethylene will be converted into phosgene gas.

The NIOSH IDLH (immediately dangerous to life or health) states 2
ppm (parts per million) of phosgene gas is lethal. This is an
extremely small concentration. Phosgene was used in WWI as a very
  effective poison gas.

One of the problems is the symptoms may not be noticed until 24 or
48 hours later. Then it is too late.

Most people have no idea this can happen, or even what phosgene gas
  is.

The problem is if you smoke, or if there is an open flame, or an
automobile idling in the area, you can create phosgene gas. This is
an incredibly bad toxic gas, and can kill you or disable you
  permanently.

I have collected some excerpts of posts to various forums that you
need to review. They are attached to the end of this memo. Please
take some time to look at them and verify the information.

Additional information on brake cleaner that forms phosgene gas.

This is very bad stuff.

All my emails to vendors have had no reply. It is clear they do not want to
admit any liability involved in generating this extremely deadly gas.

Here are some excerpts from Wikipedia. This stuff is lethal. Please do not
use it.

Chemical weapons in World War I were primarily used to demoralize,
injureand kill entrenched defenders, against whom the
indiscriminate and generally slow-moving or static nature of gas
clouds would be most effective. The types of weapons employed ranged
from disabling chemicals, such as tear gas and the severe mustard
gas, to lethal agents like phosgene and chlorine.

Phosgene was a potent killing agent, deadlier than chlorine. It had
a potential drawback in that some of the symptoms of exposure took
24 hours or more to manifest. This meant that the victims were
initially still capable of putting up a fight; although this could
also mean that apparently fit troops would be incapacitated by the
effects of the gas on the following day.[27]

In the first combined chlorine/phosgene attack by Germany, against
British troops at Wieltje near Ypres, Belgium on 19 December 1915,
88 tons of the gas were released from cylinders causing 1069
casualties and 69 deaths.[25] The British P gas helmet, issued at
the time, was impregnated with sodium phenolate and partially
effective against phosgene. The modified PH Gas Helmet, which was
impregnated with phenate hexamine and hexamethylene tetramine
(urotropine) to improve the protection against phosgene, was issued
  in January 1916.[25][28][29]

Around 36,600 tons of phosgene were manufactured during the war, out
of a total of 190,000 tons for all chemical weapons, making it
second only to chlorine (93,800 tons) in the quantity
  manufactured:[30]

  * Germany 18,100 tons
  * France 15,700 tons
  * United Kingdom 1,400 tons (although they also used French stocks)
  * United States 1,400 tons (although they also used French stocks)

Although phosgene was never as notorious in public consciousness as
mustard gas, it killed far more people, about 85% of the 100,000
deaths caused by chemical weapons during World War I.

Death by gas was often slow and painful. According to Denis Winter
(Death's Men, 1978), a fatal dose of phosgene eventually led to
shallow breathing and retching, pulse up to 120, an ashen face and
the discharge of four pints (2 litres) of yellow liquid from the
lungs each hour for the 48 of the drowning spasms.

Delivering gas via artillery shell overcame many of the risks of
dealing with gas in cylinders. The Germans, for example, used
  5.9-inch (150 mm) artillery shells (five-nines).

Gas shells were independent of the wind and increased the effective
range of gas, making anywhere within reach of the guns vulnerable.

Gas shells could be delivered without warning, especially the clear,
nearly odorless phosgene - there are numerous accounts of gas
shells, landing with a plop rather than exploding, being initially
dismissed as dud HE or shrapnel shells, giving the gas time to work
before the soldiers were alerted and took precautions.

Hi Theresa

That seems to have worked. If you are having problems, you can check to see
if the post arrived in the archives at

http://www.mail-archive.com/silver-list@eskimo.com/maillist.html

It takes a few minutes for the post to propagate through the system. But if
it doesn't appear, then your post never made it to the SilverList.

There may be a problem if your email address doesn't match your SilverList
logon. If so, you should receive a reply from Mike that to post to the
SilverList, you must subscribe.

Of course, this confuses everthing because you are already subscribed and
can't figure why you got this message.

If you do post, and you don't get the failure message, and it still doesn't
appear, then contact Mike and tell him the situation.

You are very patient to wait for months. I would start to freak out after
several hours, since this kind of failure can be serious and it might be
affecting your other emails.

This could have potentially serious repercussions. The problem could be
anywhere - your ISP may have a failing hard disk, the DSL lines to the
central switching office could have heavy leakage due to recent rains, the
line card could be starting to fail, and so on. Intermittent failures can
be extremely difficult to find. But you are paying for services and you
need to complain if you are not receiving them.

Also, the problem may be affecting more people than just yourself. So the
sooner you start contacting people about the issue, the sooner it can be
recognized and the troubleshooting can begin.

So I would not wait for months. If you see a problem, then the first thing
is to freak out. Realize the issue is serious, and it could be affecting
other people than just yourself. This will reinforce your actions so you
can go through the inevitable have you checked the computer is plugged in?
If so, reinstall Windows from those people with heavy Indian accents on
the other side of the planet.

The first thing these people will do is see you are a woman, and give any
kind of explanation to put you off. But that will not solve the problem.

I shake my head every time I encounter this. It means the company is
completely disorganized, and they will have no clue what the problem is or
how to solve it. So the first thing to do is escalate the issue and try to
reach someone who has some kind of responsibility to fix the problem, and
not simply check the problem solved box on their time sheet.

I am an old retired engineer, and I have seen just about every trick they
can pull. If you encounter this, and can't get the problem resolved,
contact me at mailarchive dot b3p at gishpuppy dot com, and I will ensure
the issue gets solved.

Thanks,

Mike

That's great! My main concern was to make it simple and inexpensive enough
so a single mom could afford to make and run it. This means no complex
electronics, no stirrer, no automatic polarity reversal, and the Salt Test
eliminates the need for a COM-100 unless you want one. A $2 Harbor Freight
dmm would be nice, but what single mom would have the time to read the
instructions with hungry kids pulling at her skirt?

Fortunately, I found a trick to monitor the brewing process. When the
silver ions reach the cathode, they plate out as silver metal. This forms
tiny whiskers at the bottom of the U-channel that correspond to the ion
concentration. When they reach about 1/8, simply swap the polarity and
continue brewing. They will disappear from the new anode and appear on the
new cathode. Again, the length corresponds to the silver ion concentration.

When they have left the original electrode and reach about 1/8 inch on the
new cathode, terminate the brew and pour the cs into a PETE bottle. I like
Dasani Remineralized bottles that have been flushed with dw.

When you follow this simple procedure, the cs will consistently measure
between 35uS and 37uS, and the Salt Test shows the dispersion starting
instantly and blocking objects behind the glass when it is complete. The
Salt Test is only moderately accurate, but the SilverCell process gives
such a high ion concentration that it doesn't matter. It is overwhelmingly
above the 20uS minimum that is required to deal with the most virulent
pathogens, such as Herpes Simplex and Herpes Zoster, so an ordinary cold or
flu doesn't stand a chance.

This high ion concentration means you can use sublingual absorption with
good results. This eliminates any possiblilty of killing friendly fauna in
the intestines, and totally eliminates any possibility of Argyria, since
you spit the cs out at the end of 12 minutes. The other advantage is it
kills the bacteria that cause dental cavities and gum disease, so you don't
need to visit the dentist so often.

So the process is simple, inexpensive, easy to operate, non-critical,
self-timing, and produces the highest silver ion concentration of all the
conventional cs generators anywhere. Also, you only need about 50ml instead
of the 8oz glass that many people take, so you don't need to make 5 gallon
batches and try to find something to store it in that won't contaminate the
brew. This is a major problem, since the silver ions will combine with
almost anything that leaches from the plastic or glass.

The contamination problem is the only remaining issue that I'm not happy
with, but I think I may have stumbled on a solution and will try it this
weekend.

There is a bit more information on my web site at

http://www.silvercentral.org/

If I can get the contamination problem solved, I will be able to post the
assembly and operating instructions. I think you will find it well within
your budget, and very easy to build.

More soon

I just hope not to confuse it with some of the older information, that you
have deemed outdated yourself.

Thank you!

Robert

Hi Robert,

Thanks for the note. The entire set of assembly and operating instructions
will be aimed at newcomers, with plenty of pictures to illustrate the
details.

Each page of documentation will have a section that contains just the
information needed for that step, so newcomers don't get overwhelmed with
too many complex details. The second section will be for oldtimers who
might be interested in the theory with detailed equations, related
information, and long descriptions of the interactions and
interrelationship with other important topics in cs.

At the moment, I am torn between setting up two separate forums for the
SilverCell process, or keeping everything in the same forum. I was thinking
that one forum devoted to newcomers might make it easier for them to ask
questions, with a separate forum for the oldtimers who might like to
discuss some of the more complex details.

This way, the beginners would not be overwhelmed by the oldtimer
discussions, and the oldtimers would not have to put up with answering the
same basic questions over and over and over again. (This would show a flaw
in the documentation, which I would try to correct in the documentation.
But who in the world reads the instructions??)

I tried something similar with two of my Yahoo forums. I immediately ran
into severe problems. Sooner or later, a discussion that belongs in one
forum will spill over to the other forum, and I found there was no way to
prevent or avoid this. And it greatly complicates things for everyone,
since they have to keep track of both forums.

On the other hand, there have been many complaints from members of the
SilverList who would prefer that the discussions remain on the topics that
they are interested in, which is of course, impossible since everyone has
different interests. So you cannot please everyone at the same time.

I guess one compromise might be to tag a subject according to beginner or
advanced, so those who are not interested can ignore the topics they don't
want to waste time on. But even that turns out to be impossible, since
threads have a beautiful habit of morphing into completely different topics
that may contain important and valuable information for everyone.

So the best thing I can think of is to continue in the same vein as the
SilverList, with all the threads merged in the same forum.

Does this make sense to you? Or if anyone can offer any suggestion that
might help make it easy for newcomers and oldtimers to coexist, i sure
would like to hear from you.

Thanks,

Mike M.

Hi Mike,

Thank for your quick answer! I would imagine one forum with some complexity
scale to the topics would be okay. Single forum may encourage some
knowledgeable oldtimers to contribute and help in answering the basic
newbie questions without overwhelming any single person.

That is a very astute answer. I think the complexity issue can be addressed
by learning who are the members of the forum. The oldtimers will quickly
become well known by their ability to answer the way a newcomer needs it to
be expressed.

I find the same issue when I am trying to understand some particularly
difficult issue in electronics, or a troubling circuit analysis in LTspice.
I can read the same descriptions that everyone gives, for example in
google, and it just doesn't sink in. But I can find something written by an
obscure author who just happens to word things in just a way that finally
unlocks the knots and now everything makes sense. I'm sure the same thing
will happen in the SilverCell forum. We need everyone we can find to
understand the SilverCell process and explain it to others. This will take
time, but this is something we have plenty of.

Some people learn
faster than others and, at one point, would need to jump the
forum advancement BARRIER. And let's face it, most newbies, like myself,
would probably join both forums anyway.

LOL! That is the best answer I have seen. Why split the forums when the
people that I need to reach the most will join both?

Thanks. That is the answer I needed.

I've seen it done before, where people of all experience levels contribute,
teach, and correct one another; argue sometimes, but those arguments
usually lead to elimination of potential misconceptions and all is well at
the end.

A lot of the arguments that occurred in cs were because no one understood
the process. I have solved that problem, and I think the things that still
remain are the most important.

How do the silver ions act in the immune system to counter pathogens, and
what can we do to assist the process? Other questions abound about the
entire relation of pathogens to humans. What can we do to interfere with
the goal of the pathogen and deflect or destroy it, eliminate it from our
life path, and prevent it from entering in the first place?

Let's face the issue. You have a pathogen that if you allow it, will cause
you great harm or kill you.

This does not lend itself to diplomacy or negotiation. There is only one
correct response, and that is utter, complete destruction and total
obliteration of the pathogen. In many cases, silver ions are invaluable
depending on the threat. In other cases, copper ions may be the best answer.
My designs incorporate both. But are there other answers we should be
looking for? If so, how do we find them?

That's my five cents worth of thoughts. Again, thank you, Mike for making
this available. I'l looking forward to this new project.

Thank you. Your comments are extremely well thought out, and I look forward
to working with you in the new SilverCell forum.

Cheers!

Robert

Thanks,

To give an example, silver and copper ions are fairly well
understood in the literature, and they are extremely effective
  against pathogens.

But what about other metals, such as zinc? It is readily available,
performs exceptionally well in electrolysis, and should be deadly to

Like copper, the chloride is very soluble (4320 g/L (25C)), where
silver chloride has very limited solubility (ppb or sub-ppb in the

Where silver has a problem with sulfur making insoluble silver

Cu2O. These form contamination products when you try to use them in
electrolysis, and they destroy the process.

But zinc doesn't seem to be bothered by either. Just look at any
carbon-zinc battery. The outside is pure zinc. It never seems to be
bothered by unwanted oxides or sulfides. The only problem is when
the electrolyte breaks through the shell, then everything gets real
messy. But we don't have to deal with that.

When you put zinc in electrolysis, it behaves beautifully - it
immediately migrates to the cathode, where it plates out. There are
no hydroxide problems to deal with, and no unexpected responses
anywhere. It just goes and does its thing.

Is this the metal we need to explore?

So many questions. So little time...

  Thanks,

  Mike

Is this the same system as Ode's Silver Puppy Mike? dee

No, it is completely different. I bought a SilverPuppy to see if it
was possible to convert it to the SilverCell process. Unfortunately,
it would require a complete redesign and a new pcb, and the same
problem exists for the SilverGen. It would cost more to convert them
than to simply make a new SilverCell.

I am completing the assembly and build instructions so everyone can
make their own SilverCell. The major cost is the 12 ga silver
electrodes. That may come to about $25 not including tax and
  shipping.

The 400ml Griffen Low Profile Bomex borosilicate beakers are around
$4.50, but you might be able to snag two from a local high school
for free. The design uses a single 9V battery, but it doesn't have
to be brand new. A used one from a toy, or fire alarm will still
have plenty of juice to make many brews.

It is nice to have a small dmm, such as a Harbor Freight for $2 or
$3, but it is not essential. There are some small bits of hardware,
such as a 9V battery clip and alligator leads that can be obtained
on eBay for a few dollars. You will need to find a resistor of
approximately 20k to 30k, and find someone who can solder it for
you. I will give a list of suggestions on how to solve that problem.

The coroplast lid can be from an old real estate sign, or you can
simply go to a sign shop and explain what you are doing, and they
will probably give you all you need for free. You can borrow your
children's hot glue gun, and it only takes a few sticks. You need to
find the smallest diameter straw that you can. I believe the ones I
use are 0.140 in diameter, and are much smaller than the straws
  from McDonalds.

So altogether, you might be able to put a SilverCell together for
$40 or so, depending on how good you are at scrounging. But one
thing to keep in mind - the sublingual absorption has some real
benefits. It will kill the bacteria that cause tooth decay, so you
won't need to see the Dentist as often. Each visit used to cost me
over $300, but I haven't needed any visits for years now. The ions
also kill the bacteria that cause gum disease, so that problem goes
  away as well.

So the SilverCell can easily pay for itself many times over.

  When? Soon

  Thanks,

  Mike

To Mike Monett.Hey I am also obsolete at 74, but, this gen. works
for me and is easy to build. I thanked you for it then and I thank you
for it now.

Hi Bruce, It's nice to hear from you again. I'm glad you had good success
with my design. It's nice to know that I can be of help.

Do you think you might be interested in trying the SilverCell process?
After you finally learn how to get a regular cs generator working, this one
is so easy it will knock your socks off!

Also, I just hit 70, so I am catching up to you!

To the one that sent me the the URLBless You.

Thanks,

CSRE: 130V CS Generator

2012-02-21 Thread Mike Monett
   asif nathekar

   For those who asked.

   http://silvercentral.org/systems/130vdc.htm

OMG! That is so obsolete it is not even funny.

I'm Mike, the author. I just happened to drop in and noticed this
  post.

That was written many years ago. I never intended it to appear in
today's threads since the data is so old.

There is a much better way of doing things. It turns out there is a
definite threshold in current density. If you stay below this level,
which I call the Nernst Threshold, there will be no silver hydroxide
produced at the anode, no matter how long you run the brew.

This means you can run the brew much longer than before, and it
won't turn yellow. You can get a much higher silver ion
concentration than conventional brwing methods, and there is no
  AgOH, and no Tyndall.

The trick is to use 12 ga silver in a U-shape, with at least 1/2
between the legs and preferably 5/8.

I favor a 400ml borosilicate beaker with a coroplast lid to hold the
electrodes. They should be 1.5 inches apart, centered in the beaker.

I prefer a TL431 regulator driving a high voltage NPN transistor.
The diagram is very simple and is in the datasheet.

For iontosphoresis, I prefer resistive stabilization as shown in the
130VDC file since semiconductors usually fail shorted, for example
due to ESD events, but resistors usually fail open. This protects
you against a short circuit applying high current to your flesh.

Run at a current density of about 275uA/sq.in. You need to
desulfurize the electrodes by connecting both to the negative
terminal of your supply, and use a strip of aluminum or titanium
foil for the anode. Apply current for no more than 60 seconds to
avoid releasing aluminum ions into solution, which will form
  aluminum hydroxide at the cathode.

When the electrodes are clean and free of sulfur contamination,
start the brew. Wait until tiny whiskers appear at the bottom of the
cathode. This point may be reached in 12 to 17 hours or so, but the
timing is not critical like it is in a 3 nines. When they are about
  1/8 long, swap the polarity.

Check to see if there is any tyndall in a completely dark room with
your eyes dark-adjusted. There should be none.

Wait for the whiskers to disappear and reappear at the new anode.
When they are about 1/8 long, terminate the brew and pour the cs
into your PETE storage container. I prefer a new Dasani bottle that
  has been drained and flushed.

I call this the SilverCell process, and will provide much more
information on the http://silvercentral.org site very soon, as soon
as I finish killing the mold spores that have plagued me for over a
  decade.

Check the ion concentration with a COM-100. You should see 35uS to
37uS. It may drop to around 32uS or 33uS after 48 hours and stay
there. If it drops more than that, there is still some contamination
  on the electrodes.

The metallic taste that people often mention is due to the sulfur
contamination. It is the same thing that turns cs purple if you get
a bit of saliva in the solution or give some to your cat. If you
eliminate the sulfur contamination, the metallic taste disappears
and the cs will not turn purple.

Check the ion concentration with the Salt Test using pure canning
salt. You should see a very strong dispersion appear instantly and
grow so it completely obscures objects behind the glass.

I use 12 minutes sublingaul absorption, then spit the cs out. You
should see a definite silver chloride dispersion in the solution.

You can compare the dispersions of the original cs and the solution
that has been in the mouth for 12 minutes. The sublingual solution
will be a bit darker, but the concentration will be very close to
the original dispersion. I estimate about 10% less.

A quick calculation shows that less than 20 parts per billion was
absorbed into the blood stream. This is far below the amount needed
to kill viruses and bacteria, but it is all that is needed to
  prevent flus and colds.

This says the immune system must somehow be involved in using the
silver ions, which means we are limited by the same things that
limit the immune system. The cs cannot help for deep infections such
as the roots of a tooth, or in joints, or for pathogens that have
developed techniques to hide from the immune system like Lyme, or
for viral infections that have already had time to become
  established in body cells.

This says we need to keep taking the SilverCell cs regularly as a
preventative to keep pathogens from establishing a foothold.

As far as deep tooth infections, copper iontophoresis may be the
best answer. This means applying a small current so fresh copper
  electrodes
