Different channels have wildly different RX levels. I would start with any generic antenna and do a spectrum analysis. See if you need gain for particular antennas. Too much signal can mess up a channel too. And even having plenty of signal does not mean it will work. If there is multipath

Not without retransmission consent. But practically how would they know? Aereo lost at SCOTUS over their version of this. If you don’t charge for it I think you could avoid some of the risk. If you charge you will probably get nailed with back rents if the broadcasters catch you.

These guys have 3X the efficiency of my leaf, so that is good. Even if you could get 100 square feet of panel on a car, that is 1000 watts if oriented perfectly. So a bit more than 1 HP for actually driving on it. They say they have a 100 kWh battery. OK 100 hours of sunlight to charge.
