Just a heads-up for anyone who has this little task on their to-do list.
Basically, there are three issues:
1) It doesn't work. It fails about 5 minutes into whatever its doing.
2) There are no logs (that I can find) to tell me why it doesn't work, or
even where it fails.
3) The documentation
I truly wish I could tell you. My current employer doesn't use RKM. The last
time I installed RKM, 7.2 had just been released and the multi-tenancy issues
inherent with the previous versions were fixed. Since I know the RKM guys at
BMC pretty well, I took them at their word.

Actually, this one was rather straight-forward. The notification audit table
timed out every time it was refreshed. When I checked the qualifications, the
field it was searching on was non-indexed.
You're missing the point. This is just 1 of the built-in job security features
that BMC has so kindly built into ITSM for us high by consultants and
developers. :-)

I've heard (but never tried) that you can put the unencrypted password in
ar.conf, and the AR server will catch it, encrypt it and use that from then on.
That probably won't change the database password, but, if that works, you
would be able to at least put your new password in and have it use

I went to the trouble of fixing the underlying problem to bring the workflow in
line with the other audit forms and sending the definition files to BMC. They
haven't sent word whether they'll put in a hotfix yet, though. It's not as if
they have to perform any work, I've done it already.
