You don't state which version of remedy you are using, however for all
instances using CMDB you have the option of creating a Delete
Reconciliation Job. That would be the most appropriate way for CMDB based
Asset.

Anyone know where I could download a trial version of SQL Server 2005?
Microsoft has a page for it but when I try it says 2005 is no longer

Hi folks,
I have 2 servers, server 2 is a clone of server 1 and database 2 is a
clone of database 1. I have adjusted server name references on server 2

However, when I start server 2 and
Jason,
Which version of Remedy and what type of db are you using? I've done
that type of copy with ARS V6 (oracle db) successfully, but when I did that
we used a different DB name (ie remprod vs remdev) to make sure we knew we
were pointing to the correct db. Haven't tried it with V7 yet.
Did you update the database target in ar.conf/cfg?
You don't mention version or if you use ITSM7.
This is from BMC --

This is version 7.5 on Solaris with Oracle db. We had much trouble with
the Remedy 7.5 installer, I really don't like it at all... that's why we

different db name, I have altered data and confirmed that it is pointing

No I am not using ITSM7. Yes I did update the database target in the

I have done the copy successfully in the past using ARS 7.1 and Windows/SQL
