Server installation has this driver program under Program Files\BMC
Software\ARSystem\Arserver\api\driver\driver.exe

I think this is your issue... as of 7.5.03 there are 4 possible filters
that need to be modified.. They did not tell anyone, but if you call and
press hard enough or get the correct person, it might be the issue... Sounds

You may want to consider an email template that includes voting buttons and
when they hit the approve button it sends a reply email from their address
to the server that processes it via filters.

The button AL probably specifies the view. The native drill-down
doesn't have this option, I don't think. Just disable drill-down
and make an AL that performs the same thing that the button does,
but upon double-click of the table field.

If you have table drill down enabled it automatically opens in the default
view. Your button has an AL on it that specifies what view to open the form
in. All you need to do is disable the table drill down, then have the AL
that fires on button press happen on dbl click of the table

I suspect it fires that active link every time it opens that window, and runs
into an endless loop..
To close the loop I would add
$CLIENT-TYPE$ = 9 AND $VUI$ != “WebView”
This will mean that when the WebView really opens that AL will test false and
not execute its If Action...

It just may be possible that when a notification is created, that process runs
a search over some form that is timed out?? I would take a workflow log and a
SQL log when reproducing the condition that leads to this time out which may
give you a clue to what search operation times out.

elegance, create a form with two buttons Yes and No that sets values under the
scene and submits, and have the notification spawn out of this form, when an
entry is created in this form..
