(Firefox is supported by BMC) then they have instant spell check technology
available, and when they are forced to upgrade they won't have to deal with

LJ from your results below it looks like for the fields in question the
database is allocating the max length for the data type it associates with the
field. The question is either 1) Why is that done for these particular fields
or 2) Why is it not done for ALL fields?

On a 7.6.04p2 ITSM Pre-Config Stack Installer environment (MS SQLServer)
There's 931 fields with different lengths.
Exactly 100 of those fields have a DB length less than ARS length and a
quick scan through that list looks like all of those are joins.
But, no DB weirdness has manifested, so

Remedy, it does not decrease from the database. It keeps the prior length
on the database. However, if you increase the size, it increases in the

One customer demands us to geo-localize the CI. The idea is to upload the
maps of their offices and show the CI's on the map. He has a WiFi network

I'm trying to use the copy button in the SLM console and I keep on getting
the below error. I have tried to create one manualy but also get the
below error. I looked at the active link action 7 and it is doing a push
to the form SLM:Clonebase but no field is set to have an unique index.

record rather than each individual CI. If you were tracking things that were
truly mobile such as cell phones, then it might make sense to track it on the
CI level but it seems to me like it would make life easier
