Sorry for the lack of details, the ARX file is from a remote server to which I
do not have access but I believe it is running older AR System code than my
servers. My server is 7.6.04 SP2 (Windows) and I'm using the GUI Data Import
tool on the server (version 7.6.04 SP2) to import the records.

QA server, exported it to an ARX and imported to the dev server with no issue.
I didn't think to compare the ARX to the file from the suspect (remote) server
so I'll check that out next. (Still haven't heard back from
When I called BMC on Friday they just asked for my Filter, API and SQL logs and
said they would get back to me. I imported an ARX file with two good records
ato generate the logs. They responded that importing the single bad record I
had intially attached to the case caused the error but after

I thought that explorer.exe was Windows Explorer versus iexplore.exe which is
the Internet Explorer browser. Maybe the two are more interchangeable for
opening local files (as opposed to pages served up by a web server) than I
thought.

zone than the server; the only reason I mention that is we had resolved a
totally unrelated issue by switching keywords like that due to the time zone
difference.
