The BBB's ethernet works fine when the cape is removed again, but
having no way to communicate with it when the cape is attached makes
it rather difficult to do anything.

Are 'console' images still available? I have BBBs with only 2Gb and I
don't think even the IOT builds will fit, and anyway I need only what

the 2Gb so that leaves me loads of space for the sort of things I want
