Is the cache clearing ability still a part of the console application?
If so, that would be something it can do that hasn't been made a part of
the web application.
What about the ability to set up the server to run as a Windows
service? That also can't be done from the web app.
Squeezebox doesn't have a capital B in it.
SS is Squeezebox Server.
"SS server" can be the machine.

This might be something to remember, though, the next time someone
reports that their scan is taking many hours to complete with the new
scanner. I'm guessing its not the scanner, but the SQLite engine. I'm
going to see if I can reproduce it with some additional debugging
enabled.

rtist count is off by one and you only see the Various Artists in the
artist list. The thing that makes it a really obscure bug is that
virtually nobody has a library like that.
Try adding an album by a different artist and see if Abba then shows
up.

place where the reporting seems fairly reliable is on the Settings >
Basic Settings page. If the 'Rescan Music Library' selection box is not

ns are working fine for here: Windows Server, Perl code, MySQL
5.0.68, all file-per-track FLAC library. Scans are a little faster than
7.4 Trunk just before the merge, but not nearly as fast as I expected if
all the optimizations that were made to the SQLite branch a
f having an
ALBUMARTIST for every album that isn't a compilation. With the way
SqueezeCenter works to retrieve an artist to display for an album, it
actually speeds things up slightly by not running extra SQL queries to
find all the artists on all the tracks on an album.
I just posted a bit of a server log to the bug report. It's actually
run twice every minute. Looks like it's one of a series of four queries
being run to get counts of albums, artists, genres and tracks.

I figured it somehow needed to be
registered on SN first. Couldn't see anything in settings that would let
me do that.
So I completely uninstalled, then re-installed.
Now, same as everyone else, it does nothing. Never runs. Nothing in
Windows Task M
Kevin, try installing it again to a different folder and running that
version. Something must be missing. A dll maybe? If you compare the
two installation folders you may be able to tell what it is.

I'm having a real hard time connecting to the local SbS. It only seems
