been since Sunday. For some reason, it opens before most other area lakes.

northeast Colorado on Thursday and Friday. Prerwitt Reservoir water
level has dropped noticeably in a week with good mudflats now in
evidence. The best landbirding there was along the inlet canal. Be
prepared for mosquitos. Acti

resulting in loss of good habitat. There could be other current
reserves at risk as well.

I saw an American Golden Plover at Timnath Reservoir this morning from the
east side on the north end. I went into the new subdivision off CR 13. The
only viewing spot was at the north end of Majestic View Drive looking over

I have found photos of rock sandpiper with very orange bills.

The left phot in the first row is only one that sho
the shore and in the ice. My only guess as to why
would be bird flu.
Jackson Reservoir completely frozen with mosly white-cheeked geese and
little else.
