Is imaging the same as backup? When I do the Windows backup, it looks like it only chooses My Documents, Favorites, Desktop and Cookies, and it doesn't backup any programs that I see (although I don't know this). If imaging is different, how is that best done? I have no desire to keep track of the installed programs other than being able to reinstall them all. Most of the rights they want granted are necessary to permit them to operate their service. The only odd one is about letting Google use your content in its advertising. It is overly broad and could be a problem for someone selling photography as a business. But a business would not be using Picassa. I'm not sure but I think the Google rules that you refer to pertain mainly if you post your pictures as Public Albums. I'm not sure that's better, just somewhat convenient. Or is it? I'd just hang the old drive on there long enough to image it to the new drive (overnight, 0 labor), then disconnect it. I went there and found my location and it shows only 2 digital channels none of which is what I get ...it's inaccurate. I don't know how often they update their data. It used to be that antenna information did not change for decades at a time. These days my Replay changes its channel line up several times a year. Looking at the list for my area it is showing entries for planned 2009 changes so I assume they are keeping up. Did you enter your tower height in the options section? Essentially it the ability to put two cores (CPU's) onto one CPU. This gives it the ability to split tasks if needed (two separate functioning processes) It is not as good as two computers for one price, but it does allow you to have to separate processes running at the same time and not bog down the CPU. I find it hard to choose from all the options available online, plus I have some specific questions: 1) All things being equal, what's the best way to network a printer: ethernet to the router, USB to the Airport, or either to the physically closest Mac (an iMac in my case)? 2) Does the printer language emulation matter for any reason as long as the printer is Mac 10.5 compatible? (I'm currently using an Apple Laserwriter Select 360 that supports PostScript level 2, but other makers seem to have brand-specific languages.) 3) Any thoughts about the wisdom or not of buying used? Re: [CGUYS] Laser printer
This seems to have replaced the 2070N. They are pretty good printers and so far reliable. HP's have been great too, but their entry level networked printer is much higher. For the price you cant really go wrong.
