Has anyone tried upgrading some installations that maybe have been
worked in a bit? Some self-compiled programs, some mixed rpms, some
external rpms (i.e. freshrpms, ximian, etc).

I upgraded MDK9 to 9.2RC2 yesterday and the kdeutils pkg that was
installed on 9.0 did not get upgraded(or removed).
I tried with DrakConf/rpmdrake to install it today but it
required libkdeutils or libkdeutils-ksim. When saying okay for
drak to install them, drak displayed a message that
I ran a reinstallation to test the update facility, and had some
problems:-( One minor one was that when I saved the new fstab, it
rearranged the entries for me:-(
In some quite arbitrary order, it looked like it sorted first on the
minor number. That is something like
/dev/hda11
/dev/hdd11
When upgrading I saw no way of chosing more packages, this is an option
that was available in previous versions of MDK.
