I second Cos's suggestion. I think we have enough votes from mentors on the
dev list that are transferable. I would give it another day or two (even
though 72 hours has elapsed) and proceed with release unless we get any
down votes.

I thought myself, Furkan KAMACI and Cos Boudnik should be enough for the
quorum (pls correct me if I'm wrong). I think we can progress with the

Good thoughts and direction. Current version is clearly over-engineered.

Hi Rahul,
Let me quickly chime in on this.
NLPCraft uses HOCON format [1]. There's also a well maintained Python
reader for HOCON [2] available. Generally, HOCON is a better option
for configuration, while JSON/XML is better for general data
serialization.
Hope this helps,

Paul,
I believe you can either (a) download source zip, and 'mvn clean package'

I think at this point we consider these proposals as "code modification" as
these changes affect the entire project organization. These votes also

If necessary, we can just file SGA. We should do it anyway. I just don't
want to hold up release unless it is absolutely necessary.

by someone who's done it before and I'll pick it up from there. I'm a quick
learner :-) I've also already supplied all the factual info in the
previous email.
Does it make sense?

I believe we still need 2 more *binding* (i.e. PMC members) votes for the
0.5.0 release to be voted in (correct me if I'm wrong here for incubating
releases).

work on the project is happening on
ASF infra & using ASF way.
6. Initial committers have been added on February 13, 2020.
OFF: @Cos - do we need to kick off PPMC chair vote now?

Agree too. I think the idea of deleting the old repo was to avoid confusion
on search results (project name is the same). But we can definitely delete
it later (after SGA is filed or first release?)

Mentors,
Can you please review [1] and double-check that the ticket has all the
necessary dressing
The correct link for repo should be:
https://github.com/apache/incubator-nlpcraft-ui
We also need some level of documentation for the project setup (in README?).

As far as migration to ASF git infra - I'd do it soon. You can migrate
first and start cleaning up licensing, website, etc. As far as I
understand - everything should be ready and cleaned up by the time 1st ASF
release to come out.
