I've recently found in my LMS library a number of "orphaned genres" - a
genre that appears in the library but the default web interface shows
the content as "Empty". Android app "Squeezer" on my phone also shows
'Empty', but Material Skin web interface on my PC lists albums (and not
'Empty' as in

I've just done a full scan, and here's a snip of the LMS summary. This
took about 15 minutes less than the previous scan - I can't recall
making any changes since the previous scan, but. Memory is not what
it was.

Hi - I've updated post #1 in my thread about album listing in general -

LMS and its cache is on the Pi's SD card, too - but what difference that
makes I don't know. I think the scan was quicker when LMS was on the
external disc but didn't actually keep a note. Unless there's something
quick and easy

The version I've just downloaded and run does the job I want very
nicely. And Avast tells me I've "discovered a rare file" which is clean!
That probably makes your heart glad.

I like to have a list of albums on my phone, in compact form, so that I
can check what I've actually got when standing in front of the racks of
CDs. Ideally quick to scroll, fits comfortably on the phone screen in
portrait mode, and easy to search. And preferably available in two
sorted orders -

Ok, I'll sort something out over the next couple of days. I'll reply
here with a link to a new thread so the forum auto-email should tell
Every now and then I get the urge to have a search through the forums to
see if anyone has come up with a neat way of producing a list of albums,
using LMS as the source. I'll describe what I've successfully been
doing, but it is clunky, is based on a Windows PC, and won't appeal to
anyone lookin
Just in case anyone is still watching this thread, which I only recently
came across. I've successfully produced a pdf of my albums, from my
Windows 10 PC.
I ran the Documenter, following kidstypike's user guide -

I too had been struggling with my Duet and controller. And the thought
of finding something usable on Sourceforge that a person of my skills
could use was daunting, to say the least. Long story short - I unzipped
the .apk file from Sourceforge, installed File Commander on my Samsung
phone (Androi

It looks like I've bumped into the same problem. Someone has given me
some tracks they bought in flac format from HDTracks. My Duet stumbles
over them, with the music coming out slower than it should and sounding
as if the musicians are stuttering! The tracks play OK in Windows Media
Player on
dows PCs? If so, do you have any tips that I
could try?

Hi Frank - that worked fine for me, a total library of 1660 albums.
Various Artists albums came out sorted by album title, and all other
features seem fine too.
