This is one of those situations where he's never gonna get it to work like he wants it to. The pc's will never sync correctly and who knows about the network radio. He will spend a lot of time trying to make it work and end up with a bad taste in his mouth about the SB product line. Either put

Have you ever looked into real whole-house audio solutions? They've been around for decades and if you live in an 82 room mansion, they don't require 82 synchronized Squeezeboxes and 82 stereo amplifiers. For areas like bathrooms and hallways, you'd have a couple of ceiling or in-wall speakers

Were you unable to get the Duet receiver to play at all? I believe there is a bug with the Squeezeplay application that keeps it from playing when synchronized with other players. Believe that Softsqueeze should have worked, however. Also, the pc-hosted software players don't synchronize
