I was listening to the 4O3T on 15 meters. I
read somewhere that they were using Steppir antennas loaned by the NCDXA.
If they were using the Steppir on 15 meters today, it speaks well of the
antenna. They were the only European station I could hear. I am ordering one
Monday.

I've been reading this thread about the operation
of KH8SI and all I've got to say is instead of being a cry-baby, you should
sharpen your DX skills. I've had no problem working them 5 times on 3 bands-all
SSB.
What I've noticed is callers parking on one
frequency and calling over and over
I worked 406dx on 15 meters yesterday. This
was supposed to be a big DXPedition having k8lee as the qsl manager. I want to
work them on 17 meters and haven't seen them spotted today. Do any of you
know what the story on them is?

When I did a log search this morning, only two
of my qso's were in the log. They are now updated and all my contacts are

available for most African locations unless you live in a large African city.

try to put it into tqsl, I get a message that there is no data in my adi file.

I am computer illiterate when it comes to converting log files. I cannot get
logger32 to load my logs into LOTW. I keep getting an error message saying to
download files from All operators, Jim, or N4JA. Whenever I try any of those
three, It says there are no logs for those operators.. Is the

Has anyone found a way to run the SteppIR in the general mode using the FT-950.
It runs fine with my TS-2000 kenwood.. I can't get the radio to talk to the

I wonder why M squared gets by with mounting 3 seperate 2 element beams
resonant on three non-resonant bands on the same boom. If they are not resonant
on the same bands, stacking distance is irrevalent.

I found all my Rwanda qsls on LOTW today when I logged in. They were put there
over the weekend of the 4th. I don't recall the call just now becaused I closed

There were Radio Blackouts posted on the VE7CC-1 cluster page. Solar flares,
proton events, etc cause radio blackouts. This is a common problem in years
with high sunspots numbers. I've seen all bands go dead during years with high
sunspots numbers. These number also cause aurora.
