I have a Cobra Ultralite antenna and the KAT2 tuner in the K2 finds a match on all bands (with a BL2 in the 4 to 1 position). The K3 ATU is a similar type of tuner. The great thing about the built-in tuner is that it remembers the settings for each band which makes changing bands very easy.

Don, One caveat to this: VGA cables are normally wired as a series of coaxial cables. So while you may have pin continuity, that continuity may be on a shield of RG-174/U coax buried in the jacket of a larger cable. I have found high density 15 pin connectors and soldered to them before.
