I'm shopping for a very compact (10" or less in width) wireless keyboard to use
with my PX3. Obviously it'll be no-frills, no numeric keypad, etc. The Logitech
360 works great but takes up too much space, IMHO.

This sounds like an intermittent connection somewhere, possibly in the 10-W
amplifier stage.
Try re-tightening all of the hardware on the bottom covers, including the
screws that hold the PA device tabs to bottom cover B. Also try reseating the
10-W amp module.

Using 600 meters (~472 kHz) on the K3 or K3S with an external transverter
requires setting the CONFIG:KXV3 menu entry to TEST mode. This routes the RX
and TX signals through the XVTR IN and OUT jacks. You then need to switch to
160 meters, select the desired mode, tune in VFO A, etc.

Also note that the K3 has stereo, 4-ohm-capable external speaker outputs. You
can really get pet-hair-raising amounts of audio out if you need it. Using two
speakers allows you to take advantage of the left/right main/sub RX audio as
