Interesting. Well, I and a number of other testers have noted better fidelity, and the op who had measured the in-band OSB image at 20 dB reported that it had dropped significantly. I've been listening to music in the AM broadcast band in SSB mode with FL2 engaged, and it sounds quite clean.

I just tried this and find that Reed is correct but it isn't just on 80 and 40 because they are LSB, it happens in LSB on all bands. The SSB is clean until you hit one DIT and then the distortion enters the picture. The distortion is bad enough that your speech is all but unintelligible.

I get the same thing. It uses whatever CW speed you have set before you turn the mode on, and there's no way I can find to change speeds agaom unless I switch to CW, change speed and switch back to SSB. CW in SSB does, however stay enabled when you switch back to SSB mode so you don't have to
