If you have the K2/100, remove the KI6WX mod - without the KPA100, it
makes no difference.
Make certain the SSB FL1 filter is set to OP1.
Check the position of the OP1 filter passband with Spectrogram . The
low frequency 'knee' of the passband should be close to 300 Hz.

After Windows updates its been found that Windows will scramble the
audio devices, especially if they are USB devices.
What has been found to work is to RENAME the device you use in the Sound
Control Panel. Bring up the Sound
WJST-X does a very poor job of loading the current sound devices from
Windows when you run the program. It appears to load whatever existed
in the Sound Panel when it was installed.
So use caution that what you see in the WJST-X audio window vs. what
actually exists in the Windows Sound

when I key the mike and transmit in SSB mode the audo is coming through the
speaker while i’m transmitting, I have not got monitor turned on and this
happens wether using the internal speaker or headphones.

undemodulated single sideband you are hearing? Big difference. If
undemodulated, then it is likely a change in your grounding or something else

leak-through signal. I think a better approach is to wait until the
external sensor is developed and released - that will show the real
signal going out to the antenna.

I just about went crazy finding this one last night. I've got two K3's @ N3HBX running 2.67 and 2.73 and both have the same problem. Setup is Data/AFSK A and 2125/170.

CONFIG:FM DEV only affects FM deviation. It has no (intentional) effect
on anything else.

One area you might want to check is what you have the SSB filter offset
set for. If you have the 2.8 kHz filter, this offset should be zero. If
it is the 2.7 kHz filter, this offset is usually in the -0.80 to -.90 ,
with most set for -.85.

me. Try another mic if you can - if you are wired for the electret mic
