Mike,
My old Linksys router did this. After many attempts to attenuate the
birdies, I took someone's suggestion and swapped it out to a new Netgear
router. All my birdies left with the Linksys. That said, others have had
no problems with the Linksys and still others had problems like mine with
In response to your friend's comment I am not sure I want to buy a rig from

pointed out that Collins Radio was, initially at least, owned by ONE guy,

I have used N3FJP's ACLog logging software for quite a few years. I'm not a

What happened to Issue 31? Is it lost in the ether or did my server somehow
overlook it?

assumed the net might be waiting for the QSOs to clear from 14.316 and
14.313, but nothing happened after they cleared either. Was the net
convened on a different freq?

I have also used emery boards which are flexible enough to bow under
pressure and get a good flat surface attack on the paint around the hole.
The ones I use have course surface on one side and finer surface on the
other. Some have a foam like middle layer and are a bit more flexible.

Hi Gordan,
I originally used my K3 with a Heil Goldline and the W2IHY EQ box. I
received great reports. But I needed some space on the desktop, so I pulled
the W2IHY box, added the Heil PR781 mic and did virtually the same EQ tweak
within the K3' menu. Same results, great audio reports, less
