Just follow the instructions carefully and it's very simple and fast. There are

Looking for help with KPA500 to Yaesu cabling.
I just got an FT-450D and need to cable it for use as a backup if the K3 needs
to come out of the lineup.
The linear connector on the Yaesu is a 10 pin mini din female. I so far have

My K3 was seeing similar SWR with an AL811H. It was intermittent and was
independent of switch position, standby/operate. The antenna is a SteppIR so
SWR was always less than 2:1. With the amp removed the problem is gone.
I don't yet know the cause since the amp is in the shop. It seems likely
2.8, 2.1, 400 - no need to go tighter IMO. Before buying a 1.8, I suggest
spending time on someone's K3 with a 1.8 if you can. I think you would find it
fatiguing to listen to for more than a few minutes. Certainly not a rag chewing
filter.

Just started using HRD myself and searching for a solution to the same problem
which I call bouncing band change.
For me, when I change frequencies within the same band HRD works as expected.
It's when using HRD Logbook and I click a DX spot in a different band that the
problem occurs.
Using an ASUS from Newegg with absolutely no problems. I think the model is
VH238 or 238H, manufactured Dec 2010.
