old radios we replace caps, and a few other parts that age. With
programmable chips you need and ISP, unless there is another provision.
Having I/Q on my KX2 would greatly expand the flexibility, and let me

I have a QRP K2 that I would like to keep at that power level. I also have a

I am enjoying my new KPA500 coupled with my K3, and I have set up the K3 to
transmit at approximately 25 watts in the operate position on all bands
except 30 meters. However, if the amplifier menu is set to default to operate
mode upon KPA500 initialization, I experience an immediate

I wait for the aux bus cable to sync).
If ,However, I set the PWR ON menu default to STBY and manually switch to
OPER, the K3 will properly sync and will display KPA500 OPER and all is well.
Could this be a firmware issue? Any suggestions?

I received Beta FW version 1.11 from another reflector user and I installed it
in My KPA500. The Hi Pwr fault in OPER mode seems to have gone away!

I record my messages at the slowest possible speed, and send like I am
running the letters together a little bit. I then give an extended wait
between words. The result is a perfectly timed message in the memory.
