Hi Adam,
For quick connects, whatever you do, make sure it conforms to UL310 if your
product is attempting to meet the requirements of UL60950.

Hello Dieter,
My experience with Korea is that they only accept 10 meter measurements even
for KN 32. Not sure where you can get a Korean Standard in English. I doubt if
they are available unless you have it translated of course.

In the project that I am currently working on the main PC, HDMI cable and
Touchscreen is a subsystem of a larger system which includes hydraulics,
turntables, D65 lamps, power supplies and many other sources of potential
emissions for this device. Only the poorly constructed HDMI cable is the
cable for RF.

This topic is getting interesting.. I had originally thought it would be
received like one
to apply a CE mark on the component because it is a requirement of
the RoHS Directive. In addition since we plan on meeting the EMC Directive
requirements (good engineering practices) we must label the component with the
CE Mark and generate a DoC to the EMC and RoHS Directive. We have received
Hi Brian,
The EU does not require disclosure of an exemption, for China RoHS a disclosure
table is required. Always a good idea to have this information internally if
ever challenged.

As part of the system compliance testing the desktop PSU will be included
in the desktop test set-up for radiated emissions and we'll do AC port
conducted emissions.testing.
Assuming the system passes I can then put the appropriate mark/ wording on
my product but am I also required to put the same mark

Carl,
In regard to your statement Another package may include plastic panels with no
inherent standalone function In this case there are no harmonized standards
that I am aware of for plastics so I will further assume that no CE Mark is
required.
